@danielvandersall6756 Fair point. Nobody is trying to take away from the accomplishments of Corman he's the man. But he's in a different genre that explores Sci-fi post dystopian nightmares amongst other's.I absolutely love Death Race 2000 with David Carradine and I won't make an obscene belt joke. But Sidaris was a genius at marketing. He basically laid the foundation and was a pioneer in what basically became the soft core porn market which his movies were. This tied into and was marketed at the right time in the 1980s and early 90s cable TV made billions off his technique. Skinnemax, Showtime after dark HBO after dark all had his films in the lineup or programs that followed his storyline. Andy Sidaris may not be as well known as others but his record and innovations are above question!

We only watched these as pre-teen and teen boys because of the gratuitous nudity mixed with cartoon violence. And you guys missed Teri Weigel's opening credit. She was a true star back then. She went from Penthouse to Triple X movies and had cameos in Predator 2, Marked for Death, and Married With Children. People did not care back then, and it was okay.

Sidaris pretty much invented sports broadcasting as it’s known now… so much of it can be traced back to his innovation. He was the first director of Wide World of Sports … his wife was really important to his film work… she doesn’t get mentioned as much. There was a good documentary in the 90s …. Called something like Weird Cinema? They did a segment on him and his wife and it was pretty cool… I admire his and his wife’s innovation in these films… they always seem a bit better than they could have been because they created them. They are tight and move along pretty good and are of their time .

Absolutely right about the "good" bad guy in a movie. Any pretty boy can play the hero; but in a great movie, the villain has to be an A-lister. Back in the day - Liberty Vallance was Lee Marvin. Mr. Vandamm was James Mason (N by NW). Dr. Lecter was Anthony Hopkins. Jack Nicholson was the original Joker. Gene Hackman was Lex Luthor. A-listers all. Good guys can be good, but bad guys must be good.

Just found your Channel and binge watched it! Great Format! I'd love to see you Guys watch some of the most iconic Italian Horror Flicks like "Cemetary Man" (OG Title: Dellamorte Dellamore) which is probably the most "So bad its good" Italian Horror Flick out there and apparently not too known in the US.
Here in Germany for some Reason the Italian Horror Movies from Lucio Fulci etc. are/were insanely beloved even back in the 1980s and 1990s, more so than the American Ones.
This might be because for some Reason American Horror Movies were "censored/banned" much faster than the Italian Movies. So it was easier to get your Hands on a Lucio Fulci Flick than "Evil Dead". I also assume the fact that Italy is so close to Germany was a Factor but it's still funny how in Germany those Italian Knock-offs (and non-knock-offs) were better known among Horror Fans than the American Movies.

The actress at 9:15 and 17:05 is known in another type of film industry. Showing the buu-biis was step 1 in her kind of wildlife action films. She's also been in Married With Children, I believe.
Major League is showing at that Waikiki Theater (it was on Kalakaua Avenue and closed in 2002)

She's also in Predator 2, as the woman riding the Columbian cartel boss at the beginning of the Voodoo posse massacre.

Being in all these Andy Sedaris movies is on my time travel bucket list. Any exploitation movie thats filmed on The Islands in the 80s, for that matter. But especially these ones.
