Bottom of page 21 in the rule book: "NOTE! You cannot use Reaction cards to protect Victims against an attack! You can only use Reaction cards to protect yourself." Also, on turn 1 the killers take the shortest path toward their target so in that case the target being you would have caused them to enter the house (3 spaces to reach you through the house vs 4 spaces around the house).

There is ONE reaction card that can protect victims, and it's a Signature Action card called Protect. As I recall, it's not a particularly good one. (checks) It's cost of 1 time to buy. No successes means either you take 1 damage and victims die, or you take all damage instead of victims. 1 success reduces damage by 1 and you take dam instead of victims, and 2 success reduces damage by 2 and you take all remaining damage. I'd much rather use Ambush, a reaction ATTACK that you can use if the killer moves into your space, and has the potential to immediately end the Killer phase.

I'm currently going though all Series 1's and I'm gonna be moving on to Series 2 and this makes me can't wait to try this one.

At 1 hour 16 min you forgot to increase the horror level when both killers came into your space due to the maskaphobia dark power.
