To be fair, that's just how Final Girl goes sometimes. Some days you're the windshield, and some days you're the bug. And some days you're left staring at the board state and wondering how the hell you lost on turn two.
I didn't think I'd be a fan of this feature but wow it looks crazy fun. The silliness of it all really makes it work. It is now on my list to get, thank you!
Watching your videos of playing Final Girl are always amusing. And weirdly enough, I tend to win more often then not when I play a match while watching your games.
Long time watcher of the series on youtube. I just got the starter set at B&N. Played first game as Reiko and absolutely smashed Hand. Got the girlfriend event from the start and Hans never killed a single person. Improvise is amazing! But what's even more amazing is I slaughtered Hans with critical blow and weak attack at the end using a Axe and the secret card for Reiko was REIKOS AXE. It couldn't have been more epic and perfect for a first game!

Just started watching this, and right out of the gate, you are playing the rules slightly wrong. The rules for the elves say that you lose one time for EACH victim in the space you move into, so that first move into Santa's House would have lost you 4 time, not one. This one seems VERY hard because of that. I haven't really played it yet, because my copy is missing the Krampus rules, so I was just winging it with the rules for presents, and I did it wrong. I got someone from the Kickstarter to post the info for me, but haven't gotten around to trying it after that.
I’m way late, of course, but since the game can be so unforgiving, you could have given yourself a break and targeted yourself, used Retaliate, and only rolled 1 die. There’s no requirement to roll all the dice you can roll, so 1 die would minimize the impact! The situation was not clear, after all… logically though I do agree targeting Santa makes way more sense unfortunately.
I feel like I got cheated out of $70 buying the base, 2 expansions and the terror from above vignette. The rule book makes no flacking sense on how the turn is supposed to go. Terror card says draw an item, who gets the the axe then, me or Hans?
as far as I know, killers don't get items - those are for you, but without seeing the card I can't say 100%. Happy to try to answer any questions you might have about how the game plays
I feel like a chump for buying everything for series 1&2 just to realize the game is impossible to beat without cheating. The dice is half of what makes this game sh*t, the other half are the cards. Within 3 rounds you know you lost. It takes longer to set the game up than actual game play. I understand Paula wants money so she says nice things but it is obvious by her facial expressions that she really isn't all that happy with this trash product. If they didn't give her free expansions and money to play them, I am sure she would never play this game again. A challenging game is cool but an impossible game is a waste of money $600 I should have spent on strippers and blow. Definitely would have been more fun.

I'm motivated by much more than money, thank you very much. I'm sorry you don't enjoy the game - we all have different tastes and that's okay. But don't project your dislike onto me and accuse me of being disingenuous. It is NOT appreciated.
