      Hi Henry, firstly thanks a lot for your videos (I watched a lot of them during my GCSE's and it helped massively), I'm busy at the time that the a-level revision crash course is going ahead so is there any way for it to be recorded and I could pay to watch the recorded version?

      @@Daily.Blends Hiya, i'm really glad my videos helped!
      Unfortunately, google meet does not allow recordings of sessions.
      I think I will record me going through the powerpoint after though which you could buy :)

      @@HenryBrandRevision That's perfect. How could we work that out? Would you be able to email it to me?

    Hey Henry, this video was very informative, especially the essay advice at the end, personally, as I do plan to either choose Sociology or Film Studies at A-levels. I have a quick question in regards to specifications - How much of a help are they at A-levels compared to GCSEs, for both essay and non-essay subjects?

    • @HenryBrandRevision

      hiya, thanks for the comment.
      great question, i’d say it depends subject to subject. check your specifications out, i usually had mine open in a tab on my laptop every lesson i attended - especially for politics + history (but not maths).
      would defo still recommend them, but i know some (such as media) can be quite confusing and unhelpful 👍

    does studying in summer before A levels have a huge effect or not?

    • @HenryBrandRevision

      not in the first year massively, but the summer between y12 and y13 imo it had a huge effect for me.
      i’d recommend it if you’re going for A*s

    Hey bro thanks for the video, Quick question should i start revising my A level subects or should I wait till my results as im not really sure if i got a 6 or not but mostly like i did for maths so is it worth revising Economics, Maths and Business in the summer holiday?

    • @HenryBrandRevision

      hey, good question.
      I would maybe read around your subjects a little - e.g. watching some youtube vids or something now.
      Then, I'd start revising after you get your results yeah. That's what I did.

    The switching to digital flash cards was a realisation I also had during my gcses! An unrelated question, what kind of work did you do in terms of preparation for history a level?

    • @HenryBrandRevision

      good question, i’ll be doing a video specifically on that.
      what i did tho was watch some documentaries about my course, and read some books related to it too.
      reading history books is what i’d recommend the most

    I have a question. Does y'alls schools not split the a-levels in two. You do the first half of them in 2nd term and then the other half in year 13😭😭😭?

      @@sopstr192 good question! i’m taking a gap year where i plan to work until january as a tutor at my old school + youtube, and then travel.
      i’d like to study history and politics at a good uni after that 👍

      @@sopstr192 really cool idea actually, i like that.
      my current plan is to do a video reviewing/ranking all of my a-levels (e.g. based on difficulty and enjoyability)
      i reckon i'll do that too though :)

    Can I ask what your general opinions were on A level politics e.g. enjoyability, difficulty etc.? I'm starting next year so just wondering about your thoughts out of curiosity

    • @HenryBrandRevision

      i’m gonna do a video on ranking my a-levels in more detail, but i loved politics.
      if you enjoy politics you’ll enjoy the a-level, and because you enjoy it - it’s not too difficult.

    Hi
    Would you start revising for A level subjects after results day.
    Also what revision can I do?
    Should I just read up on the topics or read over my gsce stuff?
    Thanks
