Hi, Cheryl ! I recently ordered a scalp massager (after watching this video). It arrived today.....I've already used it twice ! (this morning & tonight).....& LOVE it. LOVE it ! My scalp tingles slightly for a couple minutes after I use the massager. I found one marked down...& then an additional coupon....It is so nice ! Sits on a charging base. It's a pretty blue. Great shape that's easy to hold. Now....will I see some hair growth? Well, we'll see . Time will tell. But even if I don't, a scalp massage is still good for you & feels fantastic ! Thanks for telling us about these devices !!
Oh Pat, I'm so excited for you!! I'm glad you love it and you're right about the tingling - it feels great. And bonus that you got it on sale! There are at least 3 good reasons why massaging the scalp will jump start hair growth so I know you're going to see results in a couple of months. In the meantime, enjoy the massager!! Hugs, Cheryl
Your right they would rather use chemicals and other devices than massage their scalp...I got s very good improvement at 67 years old by doing a concentrated massage regimen..and it worked...from my understanding all the different reasons that cause hairloss get cancelled out with good solid massage practice...which suggests all or most of the reasons are lack of blood through whatever cause ..
I'm so glad you've gotten good results with your massage regimen. Nourishing those follicles w/ healthy blood flow makes so much sense - you can't grow anything w/o nutrition.
I never thought about stretching the follicles, that makes so much sense. Your new growth is amazing, especially in the back of your head! Thank you Cheryl!! xo and hugs 😘🤗 - Shaun
Yes, I was surprised when I read that! It's amazing how the body can adapt and yes, I was totally shocked when I saw that footage, lol. Happy weekend! xo Cheryl
I've also purchased this device and I love it, one note of advice is not to push the device too hard on the head while massaging vigorously because you may pull your own hair out. It happened to me and noticed lots of hair on the device after using it. Ever since i apply less pressure, it does works much better for me.

Hi folks I am a guy who is 63 next month. This is my story. When I was 18 I started losing my hair. I went to see a trichologist a hair specialist who confirmed it. I was so upset about it read everything about keeping and growing hair. I started massaging my scalp everyday vigorously . I lost no more hair and my hair thickened. At 50 i suffered a breakdown and had clinical depression. I lost my motivation and energy for 10 years. I stopped massaging and become completely bald. After 10 years I managed to get out of it had a hair transplant and started massaging my scalp and rubbing my scalp after shampooing for 1 minute with a dry towel . My hair is thickening up every day. The science is correct. So in essence rub, kneed and manipulate the scalp. Don’t do it too hard as you will break your hair. Rubbing and kneeding will polish the hairshafts and encourage follicles to thicken and regrow. Oil your hair once a week if you want too to loosen the scalp but it’s not necessary. I don’t use any mechanical devices
Thank you so much for your inspiring story!! Loved it and I'm so glad you shared how massaging has been the secret for your healthy head of hair. xo Cheryl
Hi Cheryl, thanks for this video. My hair has improved on my crown from how it was a couple of years back. Hi. I’ve just stumbled across your video and your hair regrowth is fantastic, you must be over the moon! I started daily massaging for 10-15 mins in early December but with a silicone, manual massager. What are your thoughts on those please? Are they effective too? I also use a rosemary oil blend weekly. I think it’s too soon to see noticeable regrowth but someone I hadn’t seen for a couple of months and didn’t know I was doing these things yesterday commented that my hair was looking thicker! I was so chuffed! It’s rare (virtually never) that I get a compliment on my hair. 😊

The only thing you need todo is to use your hands moving your scalp round on the skull. That's it, no appliances needed which can also damage the hair. And it does work.
I have been dealing with thinning, bald spots, and a wide part since 2015. I went to a dermatologist, and she suggested Rogaine. I am not comfortable with Rogaine, so I have been using oils and messages. I have seen some progress. I need to be consistent with what I am using. I wish you all the best with your hair. Hopefully, I can get some suggestions from your videos.
Thank you for sharing your story Lois! My best suggestion is that once you've settled on a re-growth plan, consistency is the final piece that will give you success. Massage can stimulate the hair follicles to start growing again and oils can make sure the new hair is healthy and strong. it's a slow process since hair only grows about 1/4 inch a month, but if you keep working at it, you will achieve more thickness and density! xo Cheryl
New to your channel, and I love 💞 this video. Have you thought of embracing your grey or silver? I think you would look amazing! I grew mine out about six inches, and became impatient & covered my grey again recently. I think certain products, including hair dyes, have triggered my hair loss in the past.
Hello and welcome! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video. No I won't be embracing the grey just yet. Now, while my edges are growing in, I need to be able to see the new hairs and unfortunately, the grey ones are mostly invisible. Also seeing grey roots lets me know my hair is actually growing in, lol! xo Cheryl
First off -- you are such a handsome woman! So pretty. Interestingly, I used to go for 4 years to a world-face Firth Avenue dermotologist who never told me about scalf massage, curiously (perhaps now she does). Your hair regrowth is truly impressive. It looks as if you used Rogaine! I just bought this massager & used it only 1 day and I do not like the feel of it on my scalp. It feels lumpy & bumpy & it doesn´t feel hard enough: I was using (only for a few days, I am new to this) a manual massager that felt great. Perhaps with the manual one I am actually pressing too hard and the electric one is modulated so as not to harm the scalp? Maybe I am doing it wrong with both of these methods? Your video is excellent on all counts!
Thank you for those kind words! I would say that the electric one works best if you use a very light hand. It should be able to freely move around the scalp. If you want a more aggressive massage, you can change the setting, but the low setting is fine for me.
Yes, I have a review video coming up of the Scienlodic hair cap. I've been using it daily for almost 3 months and using microneedling on my edges. I have a lot to say about both, but you can check my earlier video on the Scienlodic red light therapy cap if you'd like to know more about it. Thanks!
Thats very interesting. Have you ver tried of using rosemary oil? I saw a video here on You Tube that it can work like Minoxidil but is natural. I bought it but haven't tried it yet.Has a strong smell but I'm gonna try it. xoCathy
Yes in my Hair Loss video a few weeks ago I shared my DIY rosemary oil blend. It's got rosemary, cedar & lavender in a carrier oil of fractionated coconut oil and pumpkin seed oil. I've been using it regularly along w/ scalp massage and the bald spots are starting to fill in! Make sure to mix your rosemary oil in another carrier oil (coconut, argan, jojoba, grapeseed etc.) at 6-10 drops per ounce of the carrier oil.
The inconsistency makes this treatment method uneffective. People expect fast results by applying very little effort. I have androgenetic (not androgenic) alopecia since my teen years. And it helped me tremendously. Specialists and doctors don't talk about this much because they are afraid of losing potential clients.
I'm not sure what you mean, but if you're asking if your genes play a role in hair loss, the answer is yes. A quick search on your favorite search engine will get you lots of info that discusses this in detail.
@@Jonnysonone OK, I linked an article to NIH study in the description. Among the findings the "Conclusions: Stretching forces result in changes in gene expression in human dermal papilla cells. Standardized scalp massage is a way to transmit mechanical stress to human dermal papilla cells in subcutaneous tissue. Hair thickness was shown to increase with standardized scalp massage." So there was an effect on gene expression of hair growth genes as well as an increase in the hair thickness. Click on the link if you'd like to read more. HTH
OIL DOES NOT GO ON THE SCALP UNLESS U ARE TREATING A DISORDER AND IF SO NEEDS TO BE WASHED OUT SAME DAY. WASH HAIR AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK FOR CURLY TEXTURES. If you are using butters, creams, oils, or greases on scalp, you are blocking the follicles. If you are not washing w/ shampoo and conditioner REGULARLY you are clogging the follicle. Add these practices to ur daily massages and you will see immense improvement.🤍✨

I’ll get this massager
great! I think you'll like it.
Please tell me what brand color you use it’s beautiful ❤
Thanks! My hair color is Revlon Colorsilk #33 Dark Soft Brown.
@@FreeRangeDiva thank you beautiful 😍
Have you tried Red Light? Or Microneedling?
Some people have reported good results-
Yes, I have a review video coming up of the Scienlodic hair cap. I've been using it daily for almost 3 months and using microneedling on my edges. I have a lot to say about both, but you can check my earlier video on the Scienlodic red light therapy cap if you'd like to know more about it. Thanks!
You look beautiful 😊
Thank you 😊💕
Thats very interesting.
@@FreeRangeDiva oh good I was about to tell her she needs to dilute the essential oil!
@@FreeRangeDiva Thanks Cheryl. I’m working with a tired body and brain these days and no memory. I’ll
Make sure to mix it . Thank you 💕❤️
Sounds like a relaxing scalp massage is exactly what you need!
I’ve read reviews from people who said these types of massagers cause their hair to tangle.
So far this hasn't tangled my curly, frizzy hair. I read the reviews on this device before I bought it and almost 100% said it did not tangle.
Do you relax your hair?
no, I stopped doing that in 2010,
Ohhh ok..it looks great without it! 😊 @FreeRangeDiva
Can I regrow lost hair doing this as a 25 year old male?
IDK, but I'm sure it will help improve the quality of the hair you have left.

The inconsistency makes this treatment method uneffective.
People expect fast results by applying very little effort.
I have androgenetic (not androgenic) alopecia since my teen years.
And it helped me tremendously.
Specialists and doctors don't talk about this much because they are afraid of losing potential clients.
Thank you for sharing your experience w/ scalp massage!
Rince your hair also with cold water..cold water is overall healthy for blood serculations
you are very beautiful 💕
Thank you so much, my friend. Take care and have a wonderful week!
You are beautiful
Thank you so much and have a lovely day!
Is this dna effect a medically proven fact?
I'm not sure what you mean, but if you're asking if your genes play a role in hair loss, the answer is yes. A quick search on your favorite search engine will get you lots of info that discusses this in detail.
@ no I was referring to what you say ar 4:15
@@Jonnysonone OK, I linked an article to NIH study in the description. Among the findings the "Conclusions: Stretching forces result in changes in gene expression in human dermal papilla cells. Standardized scalp massage is a way to transmit mechanical stress to human dermal papilla cells in subcutaneous tissue. Hair thickness was shown to increase with standardized scalp massage." So there was an effect on gene expression of hair growth genes as well as an increase in the hair thickness. Click on the link if you'd like to read more. HTH
@ thank you
OIL DOES NOT GO ON THE SCALP UNLESS U ARE TREATING A DISORDER AND IF SO NEEDS TO BE WASHED OUT SAME DAY.
