    OMG! I did this with coconut oil and eucalyptus oil and only left it in for half an hour, then washed and conditioned as normal, and OMG it's so amazing! My hair is so soft and smooth and tangle free! It's usually all kinds of frizzy and puffy but this worked wonders! *__*

    Thank you for this video !! :) Coconut oil is amazing, I use it for everything, even for cooking... ! I love putting coconut oil on my hair but each time I try putting as much as you, they stay kind of greasy for a few days even if I wash them 2 times ! Which I find a bit annoying, because I love scalp massages and I think that coconut oil would be very good for my dry scalp...

    Coconut oil is great as an all over skin conditioner as well. I generally use it sparingly because I don't like the smell of it. Adding an essential oil might help. Great idea.

    LOVE your videos and I love the fact that you're going more natural, it's a great move! I would recommend using a wooden bristle hair brush for your hair rather than the usual ones because they are much more gentle for your hair and distribute the natural hair oils throughout your hair whilst protecting your hair..! they're great! x

    i already do this weekly (but i do half cocolnot oil half almond oil for shine), and washing it once with shampoo should be fine, as long as you dont over saturate your hair. If you use a heavy oil like olive oil, u may need to do it twice.

    Thank you for the tips Annie; I enjoyed this video! I don't wash my hair everyday; I try to go without washing my hair for 2-3 days. Is it best to do this scalp massage the day before I wash my hair or after I wash my hair? I didn't catch if you mentioned when it's best to do this, if on clean hair or hair that hasn't been washed for a day or two. Thanks!

    • @RachelMirrenReads
      @RachelMirrenReads 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      I do this treatment every week (with Almond oil as I find it easier to wash out) and my hair actually lasts longer between washes now ;-) I think because you are not stripping out the oils so much your scalp doesn't go into overdrive producing more oils. anyway, sorry to jump in but hope that helps! xx

    great video! does it help hair loss?

    • @Billythachikk
      @Billythachikk 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't think it helps actual hair loss, because the way I understand it, hair loss is when the hair follicles die and stop working. So this will not make them "come back alive".
      But if you have brittle hair that breaks near your head or very thin hair, it will possibly make that hair stronger and thicker (so if you have hair loss, the hair that's left will seem like there's more of it, which is the next best thing!)

    • @basakadrian
      @basakadrian 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for your respond! I have been a bit obsessed with my hair loss recently.Especially after shower I find hair all over the bath :( So I am trying to find a solution for that.

    • @Billythachikk
      @Billythachikk 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      basakadrian I can understand! I know a couple of girls who have really sparse hair and they hate it :( I hope you find a solution! And by the way, this way of getting healthier hair definitely doesn't hurt the hair you have left! So it would still be a great thing for you to do!
