  • In this video, I repair a broken Xbox 360 console. I perform a complete teardown and deep cleaning of the console to get it working. I then hack it using the S-RGH method. Xbox RGH hacking is fun!

I love these sorts of repair/refurbishing videos, so peaceful and educational. And worth it too, console seems to look/sound/perform brand new.

I agree. This is a little bit off topic, but I finally fixed my PS3 Slim successfully after two years of trying to do so. The PS3 got me into repairing electronics and understanding how they work. I'm immensely grateful that my PS3 started having problems in 2019. Just two weeks ago, I thought I'd never fix it, but then I stumbled upon a video on TH-cam in which a guy fixed a system that the exact same symptoms.
The parts I needed cost me 3€ and would've cost me less if I could've bought a pack of two rather than a pack of thirty. However, I bought the iFixit toolset, a new HDD, a new power supply and new thermal paste, so the overall cost was close to 100€, but I think it was worth it, and after all, I've got the great toolset now.
Being able to open up a system without fearing that you'll break something is liberating. Seeing the dust removed, as in this video, is so satisfying as well.
By learning to fix electronic devices, you learn to appreciate them at a different level. Diagnosing the cause of the visible symptoms is not an easy task, especially, if you're a beginner like me, but you'll learn along the way.
I'll definitely subscribe to your channel as the video is very relaxing to watch and I'm looking forward to seeing more videos like it.

Did you get that Xbox from Mckays in Tennessee?
Recognized the sticker! I picked up like 4 360s from their "Broken" section for $8 a piece and cleaned/fixed them up. Got a Star Wars Edition Xbox 360 from there, worked perfect. Making that one a big project.
