      Thank you brother im probably the slowest detailer out there bro plus I recorded. So the interior took 3 hours and the exterior just 1. So 4 hours total counting recording time.

      With recording that’s a good time.

    Great video! I really love the interaction between you and the client. I don’t usually see defaulters show that in their videos. You have done this really well! Great job!

      I tried that, makes things a little harder for me idk why lol might be spraying too much. Steam and compressed air helps sometimes too

    Bro there needs to be a part 2 of this! Great content man, crazy to think that you’re near my area. Also for the door jambs you said you only rinse them with the power washer and use no brushes or anything else, is that the case even if they’re pretty bad?

    • @mendezmobiledetailing
      @mendezmobiledetailing  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for taking time to watch bro! AND yeah the door jambs are pressure washed 98% of time. I may throw some degreaser if they are super bad and use brushes if necessary, especially on the gas cap.
      Majority of the time though, our pressure washer at different angles, distances, etc does all the work.

    I'm also wondering how long. it takes me a very long time to detail vehicles. extremely long time to film and detail 😂great content. even for another detailer to watch

      Same I want to work on my efficiency cause a lot of detailers get done in less time than me and I don’t understand how

    • @JoshJecklinDetailing
      @JoshJecklinDetailing 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think it all about how much you actually clean. the faster the detail the better they are at just surface cleaning and not doing a deep fabric clean. once you get the fabrics super wet to get a deeper clean your spending a lot of time working the fabric. I would say there's a deep hot water fabric extraction vs a dry shampoo with a microfibre wipe down. or using a scrub ninja with micro fibres vs. using a steam cleaner. I see a lot of very dirty vehicles so doing a simple whipe down isn't going to work as well.
      especially if you talking about removing odours I couldn't imagine a quick surface cleaning being able to remove deep odours like pet smell, vomit, rotten food etc.
      right now I do such a great job I usually never miss any dirt. I'd like to be able to to faster surface cleaning where its acceptable.
      I just uploaded an insane ASMR video of me deep cleaning a disaster corolla if you want to take a peep lol@@bryanvalencia8780

      This took 4 hours to do bro. There's no shortcuts to detailing unless you just skip steps imo (in my opinion). So the best way to detail faster is to simply do your best work the first time around.
      Its not always the case especially with vacuuming, but if you're back tracking that takes more time.
      Also planning and being prepared before you start, I realized sometimes details took me longer simply because i took 15 minutes to start and get things ready..
      then it took me about another 15 min to get into the groove..
      Lastly, I'd say pairing things helps with efficiency but pair small things not big task.
      Example: I pair both the door jambs, gas cap and rims after I finish washing. I'd never pair a vacuum with a detail simply because its mentally draining, its too much at once which can hurt your time BIG TIME!

    Did you have a vehicle / van when you first started?

    • @mendezmobiledetailing
      @mendezmobiledetailing  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I started in my Nissan Sentra, sold that then upgraded to an Acura RSX type-S for more trunk space.
      Bought Ford Transit after 2 years of using the Cars. Year 3 I have the van and that same year I sell the Type-S and invest that money into the Van Detail Build.

      I’m in the NY area what / who would you recommend if I needed a van kitted ?

    • @garrysmith1717
      @garrysmith1717 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I’m sure you couldn’t put much in that Nissan, so what were the essential tools that you use to get the job done ?

    • @mendezmobiledetailing
      @mendezmobiledetailing  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Look at other build and build it out yourself. I did that for awhile, check the tour of my van video. And the main priority should be to get more clients, and build can be expensive especially if you don't have consistent money coming into the business yet. @@garrysmith1717
