Can we all just appreciate the amount of time and money it took to plan and provide the content the last month for us? Bravo you two. Really really amazing.
yeah, at least they get to write some of it off their taxes as a business expense.
Amen!
Their obviously ballin
I've been to loch Ness nothing seen but it's strange l went again and it's like the places l' d been to were different. Perhaps there are other dimensions at work up there.
👏👏👏👍
I've been to Loch Ness several times. Even though I don't believe there is a monster living there, the sheer strength of the legend makes you feel its presence as you stand on its shores. Great video guys!
The Loch is so deep and dark and filled with tunnels and caves, I like to think there was a family of plesiosuars there at one time who managed to avoid the asteroid which killed off the dinosaurs... but they have now died off. 😏
Agreed 100% I believe there is something huge in that lake that’s never been identified, I don’t know about a prehistoric creature, but definitely something huge!
If there was something prehistoric living there, you would think it would have to come up and breathe more often than not right?
seeing is believing 😉
@@jonbeck6389it’s long gone.
Cold, Check.
Windy, Check.
Dreich, Check.
You're in Scotland, no doubt.
Also, I heard a good story from a mate up Inverness way a few years back, just usual pub patter so don't take it to heart. He'd suggested that Nessie wasn't the Plesiosaur that was so often depicted, but in reality, just a giant squid that held one of it's tentacles above the surface for some obtuse reason beyond man's ken. But, hey, it brings in the tourists.
I loved hearing your final thoughts. For me as a Brit growing up in England and going to school from around '84 to '93, Hollywood movies made me fall in love with your country. I've pretty much spent my life since 'California Dreamin'. The two times I've visited your country I feel like I'm in one of those movies every time. It feels so surreal to me, much like you both are probably feeling over here. Being in NYC and seeing steam rising up out of the manhole covers on Park Avenue made me think I was on the set of Ghostbusters. Seeing the Hollywood sign made me more happy than I've ever been. I'm staying with friends in San Diego County for Easter and man I can't wait.
You're so right in what you say, there is a whole world out there just waiting for us all, if we can get the funds together it would be such a shame not to see as much of it as possible.
Thanks for sharing your wonderfully Grimm adventures with us♥️
Britain is not a country
I lived in Inverness for years and regularly fished Loch Ness, I never caught any monsters but Nessie is in there for real. She’s a shy big beastie that’s not to keen on showing herself to tourists though she does break surface now and again to keep the tourists coming in hope of seeing her. 😉 🏴
haha it's literally a proven hoax SMH
@@elitecol69 nothing been proven, the legend lives on 😑
@@elitecol69 and maybe .. just maybe … you should read my comment very carefully once more 😉
@@elitecol69How would that be a proven hoax? Maybe photos have been proven fake, but that doesn't mean there is no Nessie. I'm not saying I believe in it, but it's not like they have ever coordinated some huge underwater expedition covering every inch of the lake floor.
@@mac888spectral7 there *has* been extensive searching of the lake. There's also been DNA testing done of the water.
.... would you like to take a guess at the results?
I stood on that turret of Urquhart Castle, looking out at the loch, convinced that it was going to be the day that Nessie would appear. I was with a group of friends and in every one of their photographs, I remain standing in that turret looking for Nessie the whole time. One of them had to come up and tell me it was time to go. 😆
She was there. She knew you were there too. She just didn't need to prove it and show herself because you already truly believed ❤
What a beautiful message to leave off on.
"The world is amazing, go out and explore it. We'll see you there."
❤❤❤❤
Ive heard the castle is really something to see
Your vlogs bring me peace!
luv this search for Loch Ness monster, Scotland is so magical
BIGFOOT, and MOTHMAN, send their love!!
What I like about the both of is, you're very respectful to what you do and the places/people you encounter (as well as Jessica being damn cute). A lot of TH-camrs do videos to earn money and not have to work, by that I mean stay in their homes and film from there. You dont, you get out there, you visit the places, you really seem to love what you do and this makes us love watching. Stay Grimm and love from Sheffield in the UK.
Thank you for taking us on your vacation. Being disabled and on a budget it's hard to go to these wounderful places.
there are many live cams pointed at the lake which you can watch from home, you could discover the monster without leaving the house!
@@joejones9520 Thank you. I didn't know that there was cams. I have to check it out.
Nessie has her own live cams, I bet she's sat on her water bed watching humans pass by 🦕📺🤣
The thing with Loch Ness is that so many tourists want to see it, they want to catch a glimpse of Nessie, but, as Jessica touched on, the viewing areas are limited, as all the towns situated around the Loch are small, quaint villages. Even the roads around the Loch are small, and really haven't been upgraded since the 60's in all honesty. So you have these wee narrow roads, small, quaint villages and then thousands upon thousands of tourists all crammed into what really amount to a tiny area.
I love Scotland, it's my home, but businesses don't half know how to fleece the tourists, and not only foreign tourists, but Scottish ones. I love touring Scotland, visiting battlefields, castles, villages, general places of interest and i have to laugh at the price of things, even snacks, cans of juice, water, sweets or ice cream, are blown up in price compared to non tourist spots.
It's excellent to see you enjoying our wee country mind. Stay grimm and all the best.
NICE, even though there was not much to show. this was NICE ! Scotland is So BEAUTIFUL !
We had searched for it in summer 1987!!! Some suspicious shadows we saw!
I have always wanted to go to Concord to see my favorite writers grave & home one day 🎉
It’s true I don’t care for crowds
Its so weird seeing you & Jessica in and around Scotland where I live and visiting the places that I myself have been many times after watching your videos for the past few years of all the cool places in america.. I hope you both enjoyed your trip and the weather wasn't too bad for you, all the best guys.
Nessie has been my favorite cryptid ever since I was a little girl. I can dream that a Plesiosaur survived the ice age. She remains happy in that beautiful place of solitude.
When you go to Urquhart Castle, they take you into this room when there is this massive bay window with the curtains drawn. Then they open the curtains and you are confronted with this beautiful, breathtaking view of the loch :) I hope you go to it one day
OMG!! I am so excited you did a video on Loch Ness 🦕. 😃
The Loch Ness Monster has been a fascination of mine since I was a child.
You should definitely visit Belfast and the Titanic museum and where it was built. It's an incredible experience.
That's on my bucket list 😊
Great video guys, nice to see you in the UK visiting. When you follow a lot of US you tubers, you don't see many going outside of the US to visit the UK.
Its never grim when the grimms are about happy halloween 🎃 guys
That is so awesome, i do believe in Nessie. I love the buildings around there, nice work Michael, love your channel!
Yes I know Loch Ness believe Monster 🌊 😮
There is an interesting theory, that the portal that Croweley opened is what allowed the creature known as Nessy through, and that the beast is actually an interdimensional being, hence why he's so rarely spotted, and so hard to hunt down.
Great videos, new subscriber.
Well that theory certainly makes up for the complete and utter lack of hard evidence for its existence. Lol
Love Loch Ness! Was there back in the late 90s and it's just an awesome place. The Scottish highlands are breathtakingly beautiful. Wish I could go back again someday. It's very spooky in a way, when you're expecting to see that head peeking out of the water lol Love that y'all are over there making videos. Brings back a lot of great memories. ❤
Me and family went camping in Loch Ness in the summer! I love how mysterious and historic the legend of the monster is! I loved the video!!🤍
Now this is what I'm talking about! It's the magic and mystery Michael. She's a beauty, not a monster. I wish she would have come up and given you a kiss on your head! 💝
I am a Scot and believed in Nessie all my life and i am 74 now lol. So proud of you that you say Loch Ness properly not Lock Ness. Love you guys and all your videos. I live in Canada but you made me homesick lol ❤❤❤
Grimmlife is the best vlogger on youtube.
Definitely a childhood dream. I remember staring at picture books in elementary school in Michigan totally enchanted by loch Ness. What a sweet heart kinda of day for you. No crowds, cold, and a quick glimpse for us of the Castle!! Awesome thank you so much for the three hour drive. Happy lovely Halloween.❤
I've been interested in loch Ness since Leonard Nimoy's In search of back in the 70's. Appreciate all the hard work you guys been doing while in the UK. Get home safe.
Same! In Search Of tv show was my introduction into the mysteries of history. Loch Ness monster, UFO sightings, and killer bees. RIP Mr. Spock.
It must feel surreal being there and seeing all the sights.
"The world is amazing, Go out and explore it"
Love that!
So glad you visited Micheal even though I live in Australia I was born 10km from the Loch hence my name Lochie ..hope you enjoyed our Scotland
One of the most bizarre Nessie stories is from the 1970 movie The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes whose baddie, Christopher Lee, was based in Urquhart Castle. They had a Loch Ness monster shaped submarine which sank and is apparently still at the bottom of the Loch. Sorry you had so much trouble getting into places off season. The Highlands generally has one of the lowest population densities in Europe and once the tourists disappear so do a lot of the staff. A bit like the Overlook Hotel.
Loch Ness is on my bucket list, thanks for posting.
I will be out there on December 3rd can't wait!!!
Great job guys!!
I'm British and believe that 'Nessie' over the decades has been a great marketing gimmick but honestly I was still scanning behind you during the monologue at the lakes edge, just in case 😉
Boleskine House video? Can't wait for it! Still sad about the fire a few years back.
Jessica in the background tippy toing was so hilarious. Love you guys. :D
I usually go to Scotland in May and September. I've been around Dunoon which is picturesque throughout. And Perthshire is a very charming place to visit and very clean. Stanley Mills and Glamis Castle were great to visit. And weren't that many people around. Basically had them to myself with no screaming kids everywhere. Scotland is a magical place. I will venture again in 2024 😊
I live in Glasgow, and in April / May 1991 i was sent to work in Foyers power station near Boleskine house, i spent 4 weeks painting outside with a camera strapped round my neck hoping for something to appear, unfortunately nothing did, but as I'm a huge zeppelin fan, getting to see Boleskine house was a bonus.
Love this myth, it's fun to believe but it probably doesn't exist but love the idea of it and thats enough for me. Fantastic video
Great video! I've been obsessed with Nessie for nearly 40 years and Loch Ness is definitely on my bucket list. Thanks for showing me some more of the places I never see in videos. You both are very likable people and I appreciate your story telling!
And I feel your pain of not being able to access the castle. Two years back I went all the way to San Francisco from Essex here in England, borrowed a rental car and drove north to Point Reyes station to visit The Fog filming locations and then further east to visit Point Reyes Lighthouse it was unexpectedly closed. Gutted was an understatement but hey, it’ll give me a reason to revisit, like the castle should for you ❤
Stop by Vermont sometime on a side trip and check Champ the lake monster of Lake Champlain! Definitely in the summer though lol
Really enjoying your UK episodes guys. Well done. Hope that you are both enjoying your trip😊
@9:48 anyone else see that guy pop into frame from the left and apparently think he going to ruin Michael's camera shot? Lol
Loch Ness definitely bucket list! Terrific video. Happy Halloween everyone 🎃
Really glad you made it to Loch Ness, thanks so much for another fantastic video!
One thing about the UK, particularly Scotland, is that it gets dark before 5pm this time of year. September marks the end of the holiday season so everything is generally closed after then. Several months of bad weather sets in.
TBH I’m not a big fan of the touristy places within UK. They’re often packed, lack space, long queues, poor parking and pricey. You’re better off avoiding those places or planning your own tours.
Whenever I took the children out I used to always say to them if there is a long queue it either free or cheap but if there's hardly any queue it's because it's dear
And that applies for 99.9% of places , even cafes (eateries) restaurant . 🤔🏴 .
Monster hunting at Loch Ness with Michael and Jessica - does it get any better than this??? 😍😃🎉
I subscribe to the theory that the Loch Ness monster is actually a plesiosaur that survived the extinction level event.
Me too... 💜
You never know what is down under , the stories could be true, great video !
I totally agree that the world is amazing go out and explore. Thanks you two for another great video
Amazing to see you guys up by Loch Ness. I’m from Glasgow and have watched you guys videos on Lost Boys and Terminator movie locations and to see you in my home country is so great to see! Not only that but my family own a house in Drumnadrochit, the town right beside Loch Ness. Sorry to hear a lot of it was shut. That’s quite unusual and don’t know the reason unfortunately!
This was still an interesting video even though you both were there during off-season and places were closed. Glad you got to see Loch Ness. Thanks for sharing! 👍
truth is stranger than fiction🐉🀄
Greetings from sunny Inverness. Glad to see you up in my neck of the woods and hope you come back to see all our other mysteries 😊
Even if I don't see Nessie.... I would still like to go to Loch Ness and take photos... touch the water. It's such a legendary place. Either way I won't be disappointed.
I know of a few people who was genuinely disappointed in their trip there because they actually expected to see a "monster" swimming around as though Loch Ness is "Jurassic Park". A shame.
Thankyou for always posting videos your videos bring me so much joy and I wanted to say thankyou so much! Appreciate all the effort you go though to make videos
I was in Inverness back in 1986 and stayed at the Station Hotel. Awesome old place. 👍
Wow . Amazing video, firstly for braving the Scottish elements.
Loved the story at the end about the bucket list and basically don't put off what you can do today till another day . Brilliant advice
Have loved watching your UK videos, sorry about the weather, occasionally questionable hospitality and that everywhere is half-closed this time of year. But at least you avoided the midges by visiting Scotland when it's cold! 😂 Very true what you said about ticking things off your bucket list - even as a 50-something I still have a long list. Ticked off New York this year, hopefully Easter Island next ... and one day the Surf Ballroom
Beautiful place , definitely on my bucket list
I was so hoping you were visiting Crowley's place while at Loch Ness. Looking forward to seeing it! Too bad it's all but been destroyed by arson 😢
Yes that was a shame! I hear they are rebuilding it, and some have even said you can or will get to take tours🤷♂
A lot of badly haunted houses get cleansed by fire eventually, although it doesn't always totally remove everything. The Borley Rectory site still has a chill. As far as Bolskine is concerned, Jimmy Page's friend Malcolm Dent lived there and looked after it for him, and it's his stories that are the most compelling. I've been there twice, and the cemetery directly opposite, which is open to passers-by, is just as interesting. Bolskine House still exists, enough to see and enough to want to stay away, tho I don't.
My first wife was from North Devon England, so I got to travel there four times back in the 90's and always loved it! Visiting Scotland and Ireland are next on my travel lists.
I don't know if it's real or not, but I love to believe it's real, just like Bigfoot. I think it's so neat to imagine!
We plan to go to Great Britain in the next few years and I can't wait to look for Nessie! 😉
I've been loving your videos from your trip!
Haha Jessica is just adorable 8:53 ❤
I can’t believe I actually do the grimmlifecillective hand claw you do at the end of your great videos 🫣😂😂😂😂😂
You guys are easily the best channel on TH-cam! If you're ever in Virginia, I'd love to meet you guys and show you around our history and haunts! Bright blessings to you both!
Another lovely video, really enjoyed that final thought at the end it rings true. May we all get to conquer our bucket lists!
I'm so happy for the two of you that you get to see such a legendary and beautiful place! Lovely. That's all I can realy say is lovely. Thank you for this video and this is truely amazing! 🖤❤🖤❤🖤❤I wish they had a Nessy emoji.
I absolutely loved this, growing up in Germany I have always heard stories about Nessy thank you for showing this, it was awesome, and what was so great as well was both of your closing thoughts about everyone having a bucket list ......food for thoughts, great as always ....God bless y'all both
I love the Danzig photoshoot at Loch Ness. I recently bought a copy of that picture from Eerie Von. Another great upload, guys. Cheers 🍻🦇
We took the kids to Loch Ness for the day some years ago and really recommend the boat tours. It was so much fun and the skipper let my son at the wheel, too. Plenty suspicious looking ripples and waves to convince kids they have seen the monster 😂
You two are are actually so inspiring. I want to travel so bad but year after year goes by and no action on my part. I think for 2024 I'm going to make travel a priority! Thank you so much for everything you do!
Been watching the channel for a few yerars, great to see you guys in my own country.
Well done for braving the nippy air. Beautiful place. That's a castle I have not visited yet but I mean to.
Been there a few times. yes it looks cold and the water is choppy but it's beautiful in the summer only way to spot nessie is when the loch is calm and still if your very lucky.
Loch Ness is incredible I’ve been a good few times my wife and I I stayed in Fort Augustus and watched all the boats coming down through the lock gates then sail onto the loch,Scotland is stunning I’m currently looking onto Loch Lomond just now it’s breathtaking 😊🏴🏴
Best creators on utube Is GrimmLifeCollective...come on.u know it.
This is epic Michael and Jessica. You two ....oh my gosh.
Living the dream.
Thankyou! Sharing out as always!💚💚💚
You hit the jackpot by going in and seeing what is in that building. That museum is frigging amazing!
Your videos really inspire me, and I LOVE history…and your channel is one of my favorites!…I learn so much!! Its given me the courage to get out and go see places I have always wanted to see, and go on an adventure!
Loved this, love you say Loch properly, yous stayed in Glasgow, that's 20 miles from me.
That Loch Ness mini-golf building was really cool with the Arcs of Nessie and the baby Loch Nesses. Thanks for the tour of that area, nice!
Your overseas videos have been so fascinating
I've been eating up all your content since the Ian Curtis video. I just love watching your travels together, I love how you explain in depth and are respectful. I was in Loch Ness back in 1994, I was 11. I remember it being super cold and we didn't see much. My pop is Scottish and he believed it!
Lord Wellington here🧐 I've actually been to " Hollywood,California " many times over the years. All prior to 2011 of course. Thank you for showing Us " Loch Ness. " I liked the Sign for " Loch Ness " with the Map on it. I believe I saw " The Loch Ness Monster. " But from here in the States via a " Live Cam. " By " Drumnadrochit. " Can't wait to go there and See the Sea Beastie in person! It's Good to know that it'll be crowded. I thought it wouldn't be for some odd reason. I also liked seeing the Statues which are a Tribute to the Monster. Too bad the Golf Course was closed down. It would have been nice to see that. We just played minature golf in the Greater Chicago land Area. Just after "Halloween." So I was asked after your Special, " Who thinks of golf in Scotland? " " I said, " I do ! An awful lot of folks go there for golf. I just do not think Minature golf. " Ha,ha,ha! So thank you for that. That was something surrounding the " Loch Ness Monster " that We Never Saw before! " Thank you Kindly. Great to see your Woman could wear Green Hair there without a problem.
Remember how the four collage kids in House of 1000 corpses stop at spaldings roadside attraction? Some times you get that same excitement the one guy yelling Dr. satan had . I'm that same way with roadside attractions.
Brilliant.. you and Jessica are legends.. love Loch Ness mate👍👏🎃
I love your videos guys, I wish I could explore some of these places here in the UK too
Loch Ness is one place I would love to visit. Very beautiful
I have found a new TH-cam fave! Your channel is wonderful, and your vids are so engaging. I love it! My only complaint is this…WHY DIDNT I FIND YOU SOONER!!
Fantastic video once again guys always love watching everything you do from south Wales 🏴 uk
Hi Michelle & Jessica 👋😊 I am so glad you got the opportunity to go through London,Ireland& Paris
