Track Mode = More torque, firmer suspension, quicker shifts in the 8 speed ZF gearbox and feels more agile around corners, plus exhaust sings the V8 song much better. Rapid mode!!! Love it 👍🇬🇧
@@driversanonymousNYC it’s like anything nice needs to be taken in moderation. My default mode is Auto mode. I think it gives best of all modes without mpg hit
Awesome video man… I have not tried track mode in mine yet. Been driving mountain roads in Utah here in sport mode. Still have not tried the launch either… I tried paddle shifting the other day and it didn’t go as well as it should have in my head. I can drive manual but it was weird. I traded in my 07 WK that would take me anywhere for this keep even though it doesn’t have a low range 4x4. It would misfire when it’s hot and couldn’t figure it out. Anyway, I test drove the SRT and immediately fell in love. Now my wallet suffers but it’s worth it. I have to take it out a few times a week to remind myself why I bought the thing. And every time I drive it. It is worth it.
Utah roads nice! Def jealous in the best way possible:) Yea paddle shifting is also tricky for me still. I only always owned manual cars so when I paddle shift my instinct is to pause for that one second to clutch in and shift lol Thank you for your positive feedback! And I’m happy you are enjoying the Jeep!
auto w pedal commander in sport+ +4 for everyday driving works great for me. quicker than regular auto but you still get the comfort and decent mpg. Couldn’t imagine track in NYC😂
Its insanely stiff and jumpy lol Thanks for sharing. Been slacking af on installing the pedal commander. I gotta get on that and install it. Car is out of service for now figuring out an electrical issue at Jeep service center
listened in on that vid too although I was a bit occupied. These mopars go through a fair share of issues so it’s fortunate that you haven’t encountered many yet after years of ownership. Mechanically these things are pure its always something electrical that fails and usually costly. You will love the pedal commander. throttle response is very noticeable and with your setup you may get a little more crackle pop when slamming those gears😂 Keep up the great content and hopefully the Jeep comes back soon and better than ever💯
This is my first Mopar car. What issues are common that you have encountered or know of people that encounter these common issues? I owned one Caddy CTSV wagon but only for a few months so I didn’t really experience issues with that car. And the rest of my cars have always been German so those required maintenance af lol
@@driversanonymousNYC if you bought new mechanically is pretty much on the owner. as long as you take care of everything when need be you should see no issue. Electrical, not much that can’t go wrong.. Radio goes out turns black, issues with blind spot monitor going off when nobody is present and headlights which I would consider a major repair considering you have to replace whole unit have been recent issues with me. Anything hooked up to that PCM can have lurking gremlins that you may not be able to prepare for. Check forums online for issues others have encountered. There are plenty on there and plenty more people willing to help who have encountered your issue or similar
So, track is my new favourite. It puts rice burners in their place 😉 Edit: btw I got the vicseed phone mount and I love it even though it mounts in the vent. That’s the only good place to put it as everything is leather or screen
I wouldn’t say hard as in they snap your neck back hard. I would describe them as quick and snappy. You hit the shift, it blips, and blasts you forward. Its incredible how smooth this transmission is
When you put the car Track mode, the suspension stiffens up and lessens the body roll. You feel the road/bumps a lot more and the steering also stiffens up and is more responsive. The car does NOT get lower. The suspension height does not change.

Rapid mode and gas guzzling mode! Lol

Thats a good perspective:)
For me, I like sport mode
Sport but I tried track the other day and loved it, especially on new smooth roads.
Yea I see sport for me is the best compromise. Where do you live?
Love itttttt
Illinois
I want this car so bad, W video man!
Thank you bro! Keep dreaming and you will manifest it for you!

Those are some rough ass roads! lol
Terrible lol. Hope there’s better driving by you

Cool! Glad the Vicseed is working out. Its quite comfortable to use
Trackmode 😂 Mine shifts hard as hell lol. And is like having fairy hands on my 🪵🌰😂😂🤣
Hahahah good one
When it shifts while In track mode are they really hard shifts ?

Can you explain what track suspension does I’m still confused
When you put the car Track mode, the suspension stiffens up and lessens the body roll. You feel the road/bumps a lot more and the steering also stiffens up and is more responsive. The car does NOT get lower. The suspension height does not change.
