      Think I feel the cold more now I'm older, you must be the same as me.... Thought our way round it. Better carrying a bit more weight to stay warm. Cheers. 👍

    Oh this is an amazing circle I have visited this and it has some awesome energy about it and such a vast open space looking up to Stanage have you seen the little Bar Brook circle? The big burial mound on the hill? If not you must. Beautiful video as always Twiggy, thank you for your continued efforts to record your escapes and show us your diamond spots, how lucky we are.❤BW, Sarah

      I need to go look at the bar brook circle thanks Sarah.
      I picked this place to camp this time because it's only a short walk from parking up. I sometimes just want to go take it easy without the long hikes... Love this place never saw a soul.. Really liking your content Sarah 🏕️🙂

      @@twiggyescapes yes it’s nice and remote to say how close it is to the main road into Ladybower from Sheff. There’s three circles at Bar brook, one is hidden up near the original disused Bar brook reservoir. The stones are just about visible if you know where it is. Can be seen in a satellite map. Can actually see your white edge camp spots from it. The best one is above the service track towards little bar brook. I think it’s known as stone circle 2. All excavated within an inch of their lives in the 1940’s-60’s. I’ve researched them Quite a bit. I visited the Froggat stone circle with my son and dogs 🐶 🐶🐶🐶 last week after watching your video…nice stroll with them and saw the rutting deer 🦌 below White edge. It was a Saturday though so extremely busy. We were the only ones looking for mushrooms at the circle though, it’s a good one that. I’m looking forward to going out again and currently doing the same, thinking about where I’m going whilst I’m working 😊 ps I’ve thought about a quilt aswell as my bag but it would have to be extremely light. I’ve been looking at a bivvy bag as my extra layer as my bags comfort zone is -3 and I like it warm 🔥❄️

    You really know some cracking locations Mick. Well filmed and it looked lovely and serene up there. Nice little cloud inversion in the distance going on also.
    You're not far of 1k subs mate. Cracking going. 👏

      Cheers Mark, I had my eye on this place for a while, it is an easy place to access, I was unsure if I would be moved on as its not far from Bamford edge,... I know that's a no go area, it may be a different land owner, but I had a great piecefull time.
      Hopefully get to 1k by Xmas that would be fantastic.. Earn a full pound in a month 🙂.... Cheers mate

      Cheers Dom, I like the piece and tranquility on these outings, the gas burner reminds me of all the modern trappings when I light it up... Not a fan but they are quick. Glad u enjoyed it.

    When it's quiet in the middle of the night and you're in the middle of a stone circle, is there any kind of special energy?

    • @twiggyescapes
      @twiggyescapes  ปีที่แล้ว

      I've camped in 2 now, both were very piecefull, the first stone circle when I touched the biggest stone could feel something... Hard to explain. There's definitely something there... 4000 years of history must gather something.. Hope you're good over there in the sun. ☀️🙂
