Sarevok was such a great villain/character. I loved getting him in the party for Throne of Bhaal.

Sarevok looks like a great classic villain!
One note, Amelissan the blackhearted wasn't a bhaalspawn, she was a deathstalker of Bhaal, a high priestess effectively. Her idea was to usurp Bhaal's resurrection and replace him by consuming all of his essence from the slain children, and become the new goddess of Murder.
Melissan/Amelyssan was not a Bhaalspawn. At least, not it the OG. She was a high priestess of Bhaal who was tasked to kill all Bhaalspwans in due time in order for her Lord to be resurrected. But she betrayed him in search of own godhood.
If WotC changed something in doesn't change the fact, they already screwed the original story on multiple occasions

I like Anakin Skywalker and Sarevok Anchev a lot because their characters are really tragic.
I’m the fight against him in BG3, I could’ve have sworn I seen him before despite having no knowledge of the baldurs gate games before 3. I saw his icon in the turn sequence and it looked so familiar and I have no idea how.

I just started bg 1 last week
One of my PC's is playing a Bhaalspawn character and I am going to reveal that Sarevok is her father. And yes I am going to do the "I Am Your Father" scene with her.
And as such, I'm probably gonna take some more inspiration from Darth Vader by showing his prowess as a killer in a scene inspired by the hallway scene in Rogue One

@@itslegendlore I think Vader is another good example of what you were describing when you said to play him like Slade: A cold and calculating strategist who could also be a completely brutal combatant.
