If we do what you say and buy it, check out, buy it, check out, buy it checkout and have maybe eight items. Are we going to pay shipping eight different times?
Best RSD list in years IMO. Probably 1/2 dozen I'm strongly considering, and many more I'm curious about (and that doesn't even include jazz). I'll be happy if I get 3/6 must haves for starters. This was a massive video Mike...and I watched the whole thing. Cheers!
Thanks for going through all the RSD stuff👍🏻 The releases I need are: Sparks - No 1 in heaven(love the obi and thick outer sleeve, btw), and the 2 Wall of Voodoo releases. I'd really like to pick up the Soft Cell release, but it's pretty pricey, so I'll probably pass on that. How many copies of Sparks did you get? Some of the other channels only had 1 or 2 copies😱
There are two different live Cannonball Adderley releases, I think you may have skipped the second one in the crate, thinking it was the same thing. Burnin in Bordeaux '69 and Poppin in Paris '72
I'll take the Croce, and lot of the blues from the 1963 to 1966 tours throughout europe. I'll probably get the Bill Evans. I spent a lot of time in the Northwest, so will probably pick up that jazz album. And, since Death Cab for Cutie is from my college town, they are on the list. Need the Willies, so the two Willie Nelsons are on the list too. Thanks for making the video sir.
Nothing for RSD I can’t live without. Looking forward to receiving my umpteenth copy of Dark Side of the Moon and very excited for the 30th anniversary vinyl release of Blues Traveler - Four.
I have already that Doors-concert of Sept 20 in 1968 in Stockholm. My 2 records has a yellow sleeve and a very nice picture of the band on the cover. It was a release here in Europe. I think this new release comes out of the USA.
Have about 12 on my list but I probalbly will trim to about 4 or 5. By the way, look at the album picture and you'll see John Hartford album is Morning Bugle.
Mike you're a big doors fan like me you put aside that RSD doors live record please give us a review on the sound quality before record store Day the last RSD doors live in Fresno the sound quality was very poor sounds like it was recorded with two microphones up to a TV
You showed all but two that I'm looking for. I've just waited until the day-after online sale for the last 5 years but there are enough records I'm interested in that I plan to come down the hill to the In Groove this Saturday. What I'm hoping to get is as follows: AIR Bill Evans David Bowie Fleet Foxes (this is a maybe) Grateful Dead Mingus Nas (this is a maybe/probably) Notorious BIG Pixies Talking Heads (This is a definite buy) Team Sleep (This is a definite buy) However, after watching your video, I'm also interested in the Gandalf album. Listening to that now on TH-cam Music and I dig it. Cut by Kevin Gray and I'm even more interested.
Dont have any store near me in Midland Texas,so it'll be online and later. I'm gonna cry at the prices I'm sure. I want The Ramones, Punisher ST, Lost in Translation ST, Orca Soundtrack, Virus Soundtrack, and I'd like that Rolling Stones and Sisters Of Mercy and Television Live. Oh and The Weekend Live. And I don't have the money to be sure.
Hi Mike, we’re going to have to teach you how to pronounce Maida Vale. Try Made-a Veil and you’ll be a lot closer 😂. And while I’m being pedantic are do Fields of Napalm sound anything like Fields of Nephilim? Seriously I hope you have a great RSD. Andy
Hi Mike. First time caller, long time listener: How do the masses go about encouraging labels to release albums to vinyl on RSD? Gomez, "How We Operate" and The Gray's, "Ro-Sham-Bo" are two that i think would translate well to remastered, first time on vinyl releases. I would certainly expect you to record a video addressing this process....in your spare time, of course. Rock on.

I've got about a dozen on my want list. Mostly live albums plus I leave a few slots open for stuff you recommend. I've bought several records based on how you say they sound, so far you haven't steered me wrong.
I have a record store day request then I'll shut up forever: Dr. West's Medicine Show And Junk Band. 1966 or 67. Norman Greenbaum's jug band on GoGo records. Loved it as a kid. Not on streaming. Not on you tube. The Eggplant That Ate Chicago. Just want to hear it one more time. Is it still good?
Love to hear you butcher all of these artists names…super entertaining. Not a lot for me in this big batch. Maybe the Groovy Goullies and possibly the Bill Evans mono…but how much Bill can I have or need
Going to try and get a copy of the Bill Evans from you but if I don't get it before it sells out I am hoping it will be an OJC Series release at some point.
They will play on a standard turntable, but you will need to use a fully manual turntable. An automatic or semi-automatic turntable will pick up the tonearm before you can play the record.
People start lining up at midnight, 8 hours before you open? Can you do anything about resellers who are just there to put them on eBay at jacked-up prices?
Honestly, I'm going to swing by the store about an hour-ish before they open and see what's shaking. I would like the Wilco or the live Yes, but I'm on about 2.5 out of 10. If the line is short-ish, I'll hop in line, if it's long, not the end of the world that I miss out.
Only happens on popular channels. For now. Trouble is everyone’s already privy to the tricks but the Ai are just creating dead internet now, feedback loop
I wonder why the vast majority of everyone says”film” when you mean record? There is no film in your video camera or phone. You RECORD videos. Try saying it and you’ll adjust. You can do it! Smarter is always better. ☮️
Great Job Wow! Thank You
Collective Soul Dosage #1 on my list😎🤘
One of the best shows on VCTV is Mike listing record titles and this is a marathon in sweeps week
If we do what you say and buy it, check out, buy it, check out, buy it checkout and have maybe eight items. Are we going to pay shipping eight different times?
Yes but if you email the store we will combine the orders and refund the shipping.

I have 33 titles from the U.K. list, if still available when you go live online on Sunday there are some US titles I’m after too live The Monkees
Great information. Thank you
Finally I see here artists from Poland!🇵🇱

I saw two on my list (English Beat and Lowell George)….and I have 3 others that I don’t see in your stock (Bowie, Elton, Supergrass)
Have about 12 on my list but I probalbly will trim to about 4 or 5. By the way, look at the album picture and you'll see John Hartford album is Morning Bugle.
The only one I want, TAD - Infrared Riding Hood, hopefully I can pick it up online without scalper prices.
Hoping to get 8-10 releases. Also, a tip for viewers - try turning up the playback speed to 1.5. You can get thru the video in just under an hour.
Seen other videos of stores going through their freshly opened RSD boxes, such a waste of time - appreciate your organisation Mike!
All I can think of is Mike as Chief Brody saying “We’re gonna need a bigger warehouse”
Planning on getting 13, though usually exceed my plan.
Didn't see the Daft Punk 12" single in there. That's what I'll be waiting in line for (in Ohio). Cheers, Mike.
Interested in Snarky Puppy, Sonic Youth, The Monkees, Wilco, Ladytron, Lost in Translation & Talking Heads

I'm so sick of live albums for RSD. No more Picture discs as well. I am looking at 5-10 records.
What do you think of zoetrope discs?
@@lancesorisho9210 I have never seen/listened to one. The regular picture discs I have listened to have sounded terrible.
And no more alternative takes of Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Rumors’! You can find a decent copy at your local Goodwill!
Im sick pf this guy
Better than random soundtracks for long forgotten mediocre films
Hi Mike! Edit: Wow what a whopper this video is, i appreciate your time man🤘

Hey Mike, I didn’t hear you mention the Noah Kahan release or the 1975 record. Will you have either of those available?
I'm at 8 titles, plus the Dolores O'Riordan that wasn't mentioned yet. My alarm is set.
Not even one vinyl on this list that made me feel the need to open my wallet.
You’re not going to spread your wallet for just any vinyl
@@Pluralofvinylisvinyls She don't spread easy. Lol.
There is also supposed to be a David Bowie title
It’s on its way. Not everything is shown.
