Since you have so much ammo left over it might be interesting to see how much or less or more accurate it shoots from your stock 10-22a possibly with a nice trigger and optic on it. I wince when I see you force rounds in and out of those wonderful guns, so I understand you not wanting to continue using them. I have a KIDD super grade and was shooing American Eagle which I picked up so long ago I paid 7.99 for a brick of 400! That stuff and some CCI standard caused me all sorts of problems but nothing like you experienced. Spoke to KIDD and they shot me out a new barrel right away. And things started really working. The American Eagle we shoot with the grans through revolvers no problem, while now I mainly use Winchester 555 bulk. My gun runs it fine, and accuracy isn't "bad" but not good either. But you are right, shooting match ammo is a totally different level once you find the right one. The only problem with that is it takes money to find that "right" ammo. Just my thoughts. Please keep this series up because I think they help a lot of people. Just don't hurt any of those beautiful guns.
@@kennethpruitt8534 I think I’ve hit most of the main loose bulk ammunitions. Most of the others are made by winchester for other companies so I won’t be testing those. Think I’ll do Remington Thunderbolt’s next if I can find some. Haven’t seen any sound here in some time.

I had great luck several years ago with the m-22 bulk. I bought 6-7 bricks for a 22/45. I recently noticed it was readily available. I bought 2k rounds and have had a ton of trouble out of it
You're 100% right Don. I havent had any of the chambering problems or extraction problems with my match barrels but I notice that my 457 pro is really accurate with bulk ammo and no match chamber. I will have to get some of the Winchester ammo as I have not tried them yet at all. Im taking the Pro and Ruger/Shaw today. Reprofiling has been getting me better accuracy but without it the Fed AM is the most accurate with me too. Still cant find any SK bulk.
Yeah, my match chambered 457 does the same thing with Aguila. I haven't tried anything else other than Lapua/SK/Eley/CCI. All it took was a few tries with that Aguila and I designated the rifle for CCI and above only. Those are pretty impressive averages with the Federal Match though, I might have to give it a try at some point once my 22lr stockpile shrinks back down to the low 5 figures 😉
I really appreciate you and your time testing all this bulk ammo. Bulk ammo is what it is, mass products item with minimal QA to make it affordable. It may vary from lot to lot and we might get lucky. I have a CZ457 Royal and a Marlin XT-22TR that shoots nearly identical at 50 meters with Federal Auto Match, but the next box has a different lot number, and how knows if I get lucky again. Well, Don, keep up the good work, and take care.
I like your testing, nice work!. While testing various inexpensive .22LR ammo from the local sporting goods store they had Norma tac 22 for about $6.00 a box. At the range the first 5 shot group at 50 yards from my Anschutz Mdl 54S was sub .250, the second 5 shot group .310. I went back and bought 5 more boxes to test. Some internet vendors you can buy Norma tac 22 for around six cents a round.

@@lemonaid1605 if only we knew if the ammo was gonna shoot or not… that’s why I usually but SK ammunition. It usually shoots maybe not one hole groups every time but it still shoots damn good regardless.
I'm glad your doing this, or at least trying to with match chambers. I suppose the only way to find out if there is any accuracy potential with this bulk ammo is with a rifle capable of good accuracy. I for one am curious with just how accurate these bulk packed ammo rounds can be.
I mic the Winchester 22 ammo and the bullets and the brass cases are larger in diameter than Federal, Remington, and CCI. The Winchester 22 ammo has to be force fed into the chambers of my Ruger Single Six revolvers. In all my semi-autos I have extraction problems with the Winchester.
