Very interesting! Would like to see more about your setup and accuracy with multiple 5 shot groups and various price points of match ammo! Thanks for putting this together!
Hey Don, awesome and thank you. I think if I get some more interest I will do that. I shot again very recently since I produced this video and I'm finding this barrel is actually VERY consistent. I'm quite surprised.
I bought one of these on a whim. The price was too good to not get it. I originally had it in a 455 that I used for another build but I pieced a 457 together with it and had about 1000 to 1200 rounds through it. The barrel gets better and better every time out. I was out a couple weeks ago and a fly landed on the edge of the target on the backing board. I shot it and sent EABCO a review with pics. Check it out if you get a chance. Iron Ranger
I'd like to know your experience. After you get it, would you come back and post how it did and what ammo it likes? I'd like to know how consistent their manufacturing is.
I got out to the range today. The gun shot 1/4 inch at 50 yds consistently with rws rifle match and tac 22. I shot one 1/8 5 shot group at 50 . I had no problems at 100 with sub inch groups and the odd flier from wind. It was calm for the most part. At 200 yds I had no problem with hitting the 2 inch steel target as long as I watch the wind.
This is NOT a Match barrel, it is advertised as an "accuracy" barrel with a match chamber. Don't get it if your plan is to shoot NRL22 because of the stuck chamber issue, it'll cause you a stage if that happens, and it does happen with this chamber.

Great review, it would be nice to see its accuracy with different ammo.
I'd like to see how that barrel will do on groups and shot placement targets
Cool video, the right can, can act as a barrel tuner.
Yeah that's what's happening here I'm sure, it definitely not a placebo though, it really does improve groups on my personal rifle.
Something to consider with a suppressor on a 22. Powder fouling build up will add weight changing the harmonics.
A weight? You can add weights on 22s?
Would like to ask if you do not mind, what ammo did you shoot when you got this tight of a group?
Hey buddy, I have to go back and check if it was centerx or SK long range match
You have any thoughts on the 457 varmint precision chassis with the 24 inch mtr barrel?
I'm willing to bet it's hard to beat for the money
@@GTMGunTotinMinnesotan I might find out, if I don't wait to long.
Just bought a 24 inch barrel

So petes pillar or this one
Good question, that's my next video on rimfire!
Which buttstock and trigger do you have with this setup?
Trigger spring replacement, 10 ounces. The stock is from Fab Defense! Thanks for watching
Nope I have 16.5,18 ,and 20 all shoot really good, all less than moa. But you need good ammo like SK, Lapua, Eley and Norma.
So what you are saying you have to to shoot a can to get accuracy.
@@johngarrett6256 so far pretty much

Yeah I can agree with that. Match chambered barrel.
