My Grandpa and I love trying new foods and cultures! Let us know what types of cuisines we should try in this series! I think the next two are two of my favorites; Mexican and Indian! Lmk what you think!
It's great to see Chinese Grampa speaking more. He is cogent and experienced. Also, it's great to see the love between C. Grandson and C. Grampa when they interact
@@asanwa3126 That's a loe we do. You can say it is considered inappropriate so we don't it as a normal part of our lives. You can also say it is most common among the amongst average and low income families.
You are so nice to your grandpa. Knowing that he's too old to travel far, so you buy foods made from other countries for him to try. Your grandpa is so cool. He is welling to give it a try. Nowadays Nowadays
Love this new series especially since you are having grandpa try good food on a consistent basis. Don't neglect Chinese food from regions he hasn't tried before either.
Your Grandpa is a gem! Amazing person with such lovely energy and aura! I'm Nigerian and I'm so happy seeing him eat and actually enjoy Nigerian food. Much love from here.
God bless you grandpa . May you have good health and more strength and prosperity in Jesus Christ name Amen. Thank you for enjoying our food.God bless you sir
This is way too cool! The bond that the two of you have. I love grandpa's spirit. His willingness and eagerness to try new things, especially food. I'm from an African country and can speak Mandarin.
The easiest gateway to knowing who Nigerians are is via our food and dishes. See as grandpa throw the fufu😂😂..we most times release our depression and frustration in our dishes as it cools us down. Thank you for showing Nigeria 🇳🇬 to the world. One love❤.
Pls. try Ethiopian, Jamaican, Indian, Cambodian, Vietnamese and Thai food. If you didn't know, there is already Chinese-Jamaican food like oxtail stew or pork ribs in black bean sauce and pickled mustard greens. A lot of Cambodian, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, Filipino and Malaysian dishes are also Chinese influenced due to immigration history.
This makes me wanna cry coz papa reminds me so much of my dad. I lost him 3 years ago, I wish I could do this with him. Rest in peace Dad. Thank you brother for this, I was watching this with a constant smile with tears welled up in my eyes. Love from Nigeria bro, whatever you need ever, I gat you. Love.
Nigerian food is amazing. It's become a lot more prevalent here in the States over the last 5-10 years and I'm glad for it. We also had a Ugandan restaurant open near us and that was really good also. Always good when we can be exposed to new cultures and their food. Also, wish we could see a video of your Grandpa back when he was younger, I bet he was so much fun.
Since they live in Massachusetts they should go to Taqueria El Amigo in Waltham, it was rated as one of the top 200 restaurants in all of America, and the best mexican spot. Their burritos are bomb.
Whether its fufu, pounded yam or garri that one is having with any soup, it's not chewed but rather it is molded, dipped in the soup and swallowed. Many at times I see a lot of people trying this meal for the first time and chewing it. That is not the best option as doing so will prevent one from savouring the sweet taste of the soup.
fufu and egusi reminds me of how i ate when i tried ethiopian food. i love ethipoian food. maybe i should have some this week. thanks for the amazing and funny video!
@6:31, Suriname food enters the chat. I am British Nigerian, and I think Surinamese food is an example of Asian-Afro fusion cuisines (with a strong Chinese and Indian influence and a dash of Dutch).
Definitely, I would love your grandpa to try Peruvian food. We have Chinese fusion dishes (Chaufa, Lomo saltado bka stir fry, Tallarin saltado bka chow mein/noodles), ceviche, papa Ala huancaina, tallarin verde, crema voltada, torta helada, etc. It would be really cool. Saludos de Peru 🇵🇪
