Bonnie’s recipe for Ukodo Ingredients ● Meat: Mixed offals, ram or goatmeat ● Ground Peppersoup seasoning: Ehuru, Uheri, Umilo, Ataiko, etc. ● Yam or Plantain ● Seasoning: Crayfish, salt, stock cube, Cameroon pepper ● Vegetable: Scent leaves ● Dry fish ● Onions and Ginger ● Peppers: Scotch Bonet and Habanero Preparation 1. Wash and boil meats, seasoned with stock cubes, salt, crayfish, and onions. 2. Blend peppers, onions, and ginger, then add to the boiling meat. 3. Once meats are partially cooked, add ground pepper soup seasoning and additional water. Cover and continue cooking. 4. In a separate pot, boil water and cook diced yam or plantain until soft. 5. After about 20 minutes of boiling meats and developing the soup's aroma and taste, add boiled yam and dry fish. Allow to cook. 6. Finally, add chopped scent leaves to the soup, stir, and let it steam on low heat before serving. More Tips ● If the soup thickens too much, add more water and seasoning as needed. ● Allow the soup to sit for about 5 minutes before serving for optimal flavor. Optional: Garnish with chopped habanero and onions when adding boiled yam to the meats.
If you're in the USA or other places some of these ingredients are hard to come by except on Amazon or in specialty stores. Here are some substitutions: Swap scent leaves for regular fresh basil & a teaspoon of ground cloves. Ehuru is similar to nutmeg with a pinch of lemon pepper or lemon grass powder. Umilo tastes most similar to roasted and ground walnuts. Ataiko is a tough substitution but it's very savory, so anything umami would probably work ok.
It would make sense to have a 4th person instead ... cocoabutter did the blindfold thing and 50 percent of the time they figure out their food from some point and give themselves extra points
Yes I’m sure they’ve read our comments because I think that’s more fair . Some so critical and tasting their own food is what’s funnier they need to be blindfolded totally agree !
I love how she said that she could not use the spoon to pick up the big piece of meat and then the camera cut to the other lady picking up the big piece of meat with a spoon lmbo
Curry in Peppersoup ??? 😂 Y’all didn’t have to bring in Opeyemi though, he’s reviews are extreme and mostly always negative and unnecessarily dramatic imo
The lady in purple is ALWAYS extra critical. Everyone else can like something yet she will talk as if it's dog food. She low balls to win. It's obvious & hilarious. I'm sure we watch to see how bad she will insult people. I'm scared to cook for her lol
I think it’s a good idea because some contenders can be bias and rate others low so they can have a better chance at winning so a judge would be completely fair.
I love these types of video with food I can relate to. How about bringing some touts in or street guys and making them try different cuisines like that tribal people channel? That would make for crazy good content 😂
I think all of them was to critical of each other ! Most Nigerians think they're the best cooks ! You need neutral judges . My girlfriend thinks shes the best cook in Nigeria also 😂 ! Nobody's cooking is good to her !

I HAVE A SUGGESTION. CAN YALL DO IT BLINDFOLDED AND HAVE THE PERSON WHO MADE IT,TRY THEIR OWN SO THEY HAVE NO CLUE AT ALL? THEN IT MIGHT BE FAIR!!
It would make sense to have a 4th person instead ... cocoabutter did the blindfold thing and 50 percent of the time they figure out their food from some point and give themselves extra points

They did this once that I remember with the Meatloaf episode and it was hilarious 😆
Great idea.
Watch them switch up and suddenly become nice when they realize they may be judging their own food.
"I can't pick up the meat with a spoon" *cuts to other girl picking up meat with spoon lol*
lol I noticed that too and was gonna comment 😂😂
plus they even cut back to her breaking the meat apart with the spoon and picking up with...guess what... a spoon🤣🤣
exactly... bigger pieces of meat keeps them juicy.... like what are you talking about lmao
I feel like the girl in the lavender dress/top like that man’s soup when she put it in her mouth. She just ain’t wanna give it up.
She hated on the girl with the egusi soup too
@@Knizzle28 she never gives anyone credit
Bonnie is what we call badmind lol she liked that soup and it showed on her 1st bite.
When he said the one eye had astigmatism and shortsightedness I busted out laughing 😂😂😂
Bonnie and her too much talk only for her to score 🙄
She’s always so mean with her comments! And ends up with the least score 🙄
Why do they keep asking her back. Her food is never good 😂
This Bonnie again…aka black egusi😭
She won overall

When I saw opeyemi I knew his judgment is going to be off
I love how she said that she could not use the spoon to pick up the big piece of meat and then the camera cut to the other lady picking up the big piece of meat with a spoon lmbo
When I saw Ope I shouted issall oveeerrr😂😂😂
When I saw your comment I was like “who is Ope out of them?” Then I saw Mr Opeee. And screamed. None of them are winning! 😂😂
I love the way Africans say pepper🤎
Nigerians**
You can be funny and critical without being disrespectful though... Anyway ukodo for the win!
More of this show please... I love it ❤
"the one eyes has astigmatism and short-sightedness" I'm DEAD!
Curry in Peppersoup ??? 😂 Y’all didn’t have to bring in Opeyemi though, he’s reviews are extreme and mostly always negative and unnecessarily dramatic imo
His* not He's
Cocoa butter in 🇳🇬 version, blindfold would generate genuine judgement😊. I love this
I think it’s good to see what you’re eating abeg oh presentation matter
Imagine if say they put frog and people no Dey eat frog for pepper soup
With blindfold, everyone makes considerate, constructive, and fair ratings. Everyone is there to eat afterall, no matter the presentation
Lol, please. They are copying the other version frame for frame.
The food expert should also have made pepper soup for the contestants to taste - you know, show them how its done!
This is the first time I hear someone complaining about how big the meat is. THATS A GOOD THING SIS
The Warri woman in lavender is honestly so annoying.
Food is always going to be a preferential thing… That’s something these shows re-emphasis
just like everything in life tbh. just like what you like
Looking forward to more of these❤❤ if they can share their recipes, audience can try it and drop reviews too it'll really make sense 😊
“I won’t pay for it, but it’s not bad.” LMFAOOO this is me to my parents all the time 😂
Please do more of these! Missed some good ol' Ndani TV!
Bonnie with her shovel or bunny 🐰 teeth 🦷 is rather annoying! And ope is always a nightmare!!!!
Curry, ginger and garlic in peppersoup??? What did Tope do ffs😂 Peppersoup is laid back, you shouldn't do too much
Make them try their own
Yes I love when they do that 😭
Dear Niger Deltans, please teach us how to make authentic peppersoup. T for Thanks.
Aye BONNIE BABY. You can keep ya secrets mama 😂
This bonnie girl!
Zukwanike in Jesus name.
You too talk!
Famakin is not a certified food critic but enjoy y’all
Rest!
Rest!
In Jesus name, Amen
Why’s you say so?? How’s he so popular then
Exactly 😂
bonnie is a savage yo 😭. amazing stuff 😂❤️
That Bonnie girl made Ukodo, yam pepper soup the best way.
Lavender dress judge from personal preference. The last judge was a good judge he’s not afraid to taste the food.
Wetin ponmo and smoked fish dey find inside pepper soup
Wetin you know 😑 you better learn how to make it from the OG’s (Deltans).
Please bring back the critic😂😂😂 “ is this a scam o?!” 😂😂😂
I wouldn't be so proud after listening to him talk about your food. He blasted all of them😂😅
Bonnie is too mean Haba
Ope Famakin and his not closing his mouth to chew..ugh
i thought Papa Benji makes the best peppersoup ,,,
The food critic ended me! Love his channel!
Ope😂😂😂 I won’t pay for this😂😂
Last girls energy & critism is very catty, and yet her peers scored her so civily, lol the final judge is so funny 😂
So nobody made cat fish pepper soup🤨?
I was shocked too
Bonnie's would be the one i would want to try.
I see the little girl un me, in thus soup is a wild backhanded compliment! Lol
When I saw Ope I said game over 😂😂. If say it as it is was a person 😂
I like Bonnie's review 😊.. I like Tope's confidence
I don’t understand why people put ginger in peppersoup
Never hype up your own dish. Not for you to decide. Let it speak for itself!!
It's an interesting show
Best in Nigeria 😮😮😮
I think it’s ok to pick up the yam and put it in the soup 🤷🏾♀️
Can you make it without goat?
I don’t even know what to say😂opeeeee
Tope please Curry shouldn’t be in peppersoup😅
Please when are you guys bringing back Ndani TGIF.
The food critics is hilarious and vibe
It was going so well till I saw Opeyemi Famakin. Sigh I'm out
Am telling you! MTCHEEEEEW
I respect the hate😂
Omg 😂😂😭
wetin dey do opeyemi self. you come and cook now
LMAO I want to the Captain Confidence when he realized he LOST lost.
I make the best pepper soup..in Nigeria and I’m not joking😏
2seconds later BLAND😒
😂😂😂😂😂😂
First to be here💃🏾
Who is the queen at the end being over dramatic. 🙄
"this is giving scam oo" 🤣
Nice.. Kudos to bonnie😂
In the land of the blind the one-eyed man is king. I need to remember this one.
Why would you put meat and fish together in pepper soup. I can't even cook them together, left alone pepper soup 😕
that "add a hint" really kicked her ass 😂
All the talk for ope to give Bonnie 1😂
You guys shouldn’t bring back Ope again o. Food critic that doesn’t know Ukodo. Just talking rubbish
Ope! 😮😮😂😂😂
This Peppersoup does not have energy. It doesn't have life. 😂
Glad to be here
This is so enjoyable❤❤
The male chef should have added a little more maggi , it would have saved it ..
Love eet! It’s my favorite food!!! ❤️
The lady in purple is ALWAYS extra critical. Everyone else can like something yet she will talk as if it's dog food. She low balls to win. It's obvious & hilarious. I'm sure we watch to see how bad she will insult people. I'm scared to cook for her lol
Ope came hungry 😅
I can't stand Bonnie she is so condescending and have a lot of negative thing to say about others.
I was enjoying this video until ope showed up
Kilo mean
Omo, that lady in purple gown can talk o, just eat the food please😂
fool of her self and she can not cook
From what I gather none of them made pepper soup. I can't even spot scent leaves in any dish
Lmao I like Bonnie
Bonnie should do less talking
Why do you have to bring another judge tho?, I think it’s ok that they all rate their food them selves. My feedback tho
I think it’s a good idea because some contenders can be bias and rate others low so they can have a better chance at winning so a judge would be completely fair.
@@mercy.b2933that’s what I thought too
Bonnie is a trip. Thinks too highly of herself. Purposely giving low scores for herself and gain
A Nigerian calling another Nigerian a scammer (over soup, no less) has tickled me to my core
I love these types of video with food I can relate to. How about bringing some touts in or street guys and making them try different cuisines like that tribal people channel? That would make for crazy good content 😂
Tope just didn't add enough salt in his effort to serve something healthy.
Curry in pepper soup 😳
The guest who tasted is incredibly rude, I'd like to know if he sef can cook?????
I think all of them was to critical of each other ! Most Nigerians think they're the best cooks ! You need neutral judges . My girlfriend thinks shes the best cook in Nigeria also 😂 ! Nobody's cooking is good to her !

Lmao is Ope mad? Why will he say it seems like they left culinary school??
Please include the loosers reaction hahah
Ginger, garlic and curry powder is not good for making pepper.
The critism is too much, the last guy should bring his dish for scrutiny
Crayfish has no business in pepper soup
Hahaha aromatic oils! Aww
brooo Temitope looks just like Fuhad from shitsandgigs
