    also you need a dyno tune with this intake, it changes the velocity of the air going in. A canned tune isn’t going to compensate increased air gain, without proper fuel mixture.

    MMX knows this problem, now they sell these machined, which takes a away those square gaskets and they make a custom gasket. Which I purchased. You should send yours in to get machined. Ask for Robert ext 110 at MMX

      Good to know but it's too late. After waiting 6+ months on Holley, canceling the order through them, locating one on eBay, installing and it still goes South. I sold it as soon as I pulled it off. Any luck with yours? Are you nitrous/boosted?

    Eek. Those dyno numbers are terrible. Just get the 392 manifold and a module for the active runners. I’ve seen the dyno numbers on that and it’s far better. 20+hp in low and mid rpm range and 15-20hp on the top end. Doesn’t look quite as nice, but the performance benefits are clear.

  • @rustyshaklferd1897
    @rustyshaklferd1897 ปีที่แล้ว

    At this point you might as well just get the 392 manifold and a module for the active runners. I’ve seen dyno results of 20hp increase from low to mid rpm and 15-20hp at the upper end.

    • @neverenuff2381
      @neverenuff2381  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not a bad manifold but like Nicholas R said below about MMX machining them for gaskets. Other than fuel injector spacers and making sure you have the dual bolt pattern for a factory style throttle body. After install it pulled pretty good after 5k RPM. It would be better with boost or nitrous since it shouldn't blow out.

  • @paulphillips6925

    I want to make sure everyone knows, this is because of the runners in these intakes, if your buying for a 6.1 srt build not a eagle or 6.4, you will gain hp and torque, also if you have a vacuum leak you will lose hp with sniper manifold. So maybe on a eagle 5.7 or 6.4 you will lose due to active runners but not on a 6.1 or stroked block non vvt.

Other thing is the sinper holley intake is not a big change but adds about 8 hp through the torq range of your motor! I have never seen the intake or fuel rails in person so this is just a guess, but looks like the fuel rails was made to fit tall or short injectors. Looks like the braket that is on fuel rail can be loosened and rotated 180 degrees to fit whichever injectors you have.

      @neverenuff2381  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Cold air or an aftermarket intake manifold Tony? Those are good numbers, I chose the 392 mds cam simply to find out what Dodge was leaving on the table. Fuzzy math and with higher compression, the 392 produces 1.23 horspower per cubic inch while the 345 produces 1.07, with the added displacement the 392 should produce 50.29 horspower more than the smaller 345 engine. My goal is to find out where the extra 60hp is, i.e. better exhaust manifolds, intake and cam. Also, it was super affordable providing you do the work yourself.

      @@neverenuff2381 i think the 60hp also comes from the heads and valves as the 6.4 has bigger valves and a larger combustion chamber in the heads you got the cam and headers your working on the manifold i think lies in the heads they do make bigger valves for the 5.7 but still slightly smaller then the stock 6.4 valves
