Additional note to anyone learning here. If you do not have two oil lines connecting to the pump. You will have to bleed the air from your pump. Its not overly difficult, but it would create a headache for anyone with a single oil line who doesn’t expect to have to bleed air manually.
What about the final step in this job; bleeding the fuel line? How do you reprime the pump and get all the air out? Great explanation of the screen replacement.
I have a tiger loop on mine, so I didn’t need to bleed the air out. If you don’t, you’ll need to bleed the air out of the line before starting it. There should be a video on TH-cam on how to bleed your air out.
@@idothings6605 A tiger loop sounds like a great addition. Did you install the tiger loop? What are the other advantages of having a tiger loop in the system?
Thanks! Another easy maintenance item that I was terrified to try, but you showed how easy it is. Great channel!

Thank you, very helpful, didn't realize there was a strainer inside the pump.
How often does a strainer need to be changed?
