Hello, I wanted to send a word of thanks to you both. I'm waiting for a permit to replace an aging oil tank that is filling up the strainer with crud. I've had to keep paying for a tech to come out and replace these every 5 days. I just did my first replacement about 30 mins ago. This is going to save some money. Again thank you!

That is awesome! Make sure to use the correct filter on your oil tank to help keep the crud out.

Your video was very helpful. Thank you for explaining things so clearly. Our furnace is running now. We had 2 repairmen who couldn't figure it out. Fingers crossed. The hardest part was trying to find the part and waiting for it to arrive in the mail.

I took the 4 screws off and the pump isn't falling off like in this video. I'm not able to take it apart

I didn't think you had to purge oil if there was a return line which you have.

Sorry, I'm sure you are well experienced at this job, but IMO you need to bone up on making videos. Specifically lighting technique. Why? Because I would like to see EVERYTHING you're doing. Thanks for the strainer advice.
