Marc does sound a lot like Freddie in the range, clarity and beauty of his voice and he obviously has studied how Freddie delivered the Queen songs. But Marc is not an impressionist. It is not that he can sound LIKE all these great rock singers. What makes Marc's covers of these great singers and great songs so remarkable is that MARC HIMSELF IS A GREAT SINGER! To paraphrase something I have heard since my childhood, Marc could sing anything, ANYTHING and make it sound AMAZING! I love hearing Marc make Freddie's songs come alive again, but I also just love hearing Marc sing period. ...And he can always fall back on a fabulous career singing opera if this pop/rock thing doesn't work out for him.
No. i think Queen purposely does not tour with him because they would be a parody of the former band without John Deacon and Freddie. they are doing something "different" with lambert, not trying to sound like they replaced freddie with an impersonator. also, he is not Freddie on stage. nobody is.. so it wouldn't be the same experience either way.

Say what you wanna say but for me Marc is by far the best Freddie impersonator I have ever seen in my entire life. No matter how hard he tries not to, he naturally sounds like Freddie and yes you can learn technique and you can try to sound like a singer or can come nearest the most but the tone, agility everything that Freddie has and no one could ever come close with, Marc does. The passion he has, the instrument that is his voice that is exactly like Freddie's, Marc has. For me I am convinced that he is Freddie's son, he looks so much like him, his jawline, his face to me is believable that he is son or related in some type of way or god created a Freddie in Marc so we can have another chance to hear the legend again. If hypothetically, they did meddle and have a son, Marc would be him. It's the 80's, alcohol, drugs, dunno I feel that they decided to hide the pregnancy as it would effect his career? or to give him a better life? considering Freddie's history... But then again how does nobody know? The band, family, friends? Or did she go AWOL for 9 freakin' months at that time?? or was she good for hiding it that nobody had a clue and she decided to give him for adoption or to a foster home and was her little secret? It takes natural talent and great vocal skills to be as good as Marc. He is a fine multi instrument musician, songwriter and sometime producer as well as a gifted vocalist. He is a better true musician than Freddie ever was . Freddie's legend lies in his mastery of showmanship long after his heavy smoking and over driving of his vocals in the early days made live performances of the "studio" versions of Queen's and his songs untenable . Marc on the other hand can perform 22+ [frequently the studio versions] Queen songs per concert and sound as good by the end of the last note of the last encore as he did when he walked out. ; )
Freddie Mercury is his best... he really is a suitable replacement, such that if he were to sing with Queen, we could then see that band continue on in its contribution to the world.
Mark can certainly try to impersonate other singers but no matter how hard he tries impersonating others he still sounds like Freddie Mercury upon hearing this I am truly convinced that this talented man who sounds like Freddy really does sound like Freddy and isn't just a front like some people speculate. Freddy lives on not just in songs but through mark some of his physical features on Mark's face it says if you're staring into a Freddy that has transformed into the next life which is Mark. Just look at mark he has Freddy's jawline he has Freddy's buck teeth signature mark even some of his movements so to Mark I say my friend you may try to sound like someone else but even you can't dispute the fact that you have become the new Freddie Mercury that only can we hear his beautiful music again but it's somehow spiritually channeled taking some resemblance to Freddy and you make the whole experience just as emotional as witnessing a Freddy concert. Like it or not mark you naturally sound like Freddy sing like Freddy act like Freddy move like Freddy but you will never sound like anyone else ever in my opinion stick to what God has given you and that's the beautiful spirit of Freddie Mercury God bless you mark and it would be a dream come true to see you live in person but if I never get that that's okay cuz I can enjoy watching you perform on TH-cam magnificent show and yes it will go on

Damn, he still has the vocal range until now, further proves that it's his natural voice accompanied with proper technique. People kept saying that he's just forcing to sound like Freddie but that wouldn't be good for his vocal chords, Gary Mullen for example, he lost the ability for high notes when singing Queen songs.

@Some Kind Of Master @Some Kind Of Master The vocal similarity yes, but as professional voice coach reactors have said many times, you can be born with the biology, and still never be a good singer. It takes natural talent and great vocal skills to be as good as Marc. He is a fine multi instrument musician, songwriter and sometime producer as well as a gifted vocalist. He is a better true musician than Freddie ever was . Freddie's legend lies in his mastery of showmanship long after his heavy smoking and over driving of his vocals in the early days made live performances of the "studio" versions of Queen's and his songs untenable . Marc on the other hand can perform 22+ [frequently the studio versions] Queen songs per concert and sound as good by the end of the last note of the last encore as he did when he walked out. ; )
Freddie Mercury is his best... he really is a suitable replacement, such that if he were to sing with Queen, we could then see that band continue on in its contribution to the world.
Mark can certainly try to impersonate other singers but no matter how hard he tries impersonating others he still sounds like Freddie Mercury upon hearing this I am truly convinced that this talented man who sounds like Freddy really does sound like Freddy and isn't just a front like some people speculate. Freddy lives on not just in songs but through mark some of his physical features on Mark's face it says if you're staring into a Freddy that has transformed into the next life which is Mark.
Just look at mark he has Freddy's jawline he has Freddy's buck teeth signature mark even some of his movements so to Mark I say my friend you may try to sound like someone else but even you can't dispute the fact that you have become the new Freddie Mercury that only can we hear his beautiful music again but it's somehow spiritually channeled taking some resemblance to Freddy and you make the whole experience just as emotional as witnessing a Freddy concert. Like it or not mark you naturally sound like Freddy sing like Freddy act like Freddy move like Freddy but you will never sound like anyone else ever in my opinion stick to what God has given you and that's the beautiful spirit of Freddie Mercury God bless you mark and it would be a dream come true to see you live in person but if I never get that that's okay cuz I can enjoy watching you perform on TH-cam magnificent show and yes it will go on

He is UTTERLY AMAZING!! His "voices" put a smile on my face ... the fact that he sounds pretty much like a dead on match to Freddie just brings him back to life for me ... if Marc ever tours in southern Ontario anytime soon, the tickets are sold!!
