    Some protein recipes I ate :
    PROTEIN OVERNIGHT OATS
    1/2 cup oats
    3/4 cup almond milk
    1/4 cup Greek yogurt
    1 scoop protein powder
    1 tbsp chia seed
    Too many raspberries
    Put in fridge overnight or for over 4 hours and 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
    EGG WHITE STOVE TOP OATS
    1/2 cup oats
    1 cup water
    ⅓ cup egg whites
    1 scoop protein powder
    - Boil the oats until creamy and then quickly whisk the egg whites until fluffy then add the protein powder once you take off the heat
    - Mix in: cocoa powder (if you want chocolate), blue berries, banana, peanut butter, anything you want
    - toppings: too many frozen berries & strawberries & peanut butter
    MY CLASSIC PROTEIN PANCAKES🍌🥞
    BLEND:
    1/2 cup oats
    1/2-1 banana (sub ¼ cup apple sauce)
    1 scoop protein
    egg ( + ¼ cup egg whites if you want more protein)
    1 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp cinnamon
    pinch of salt
    almond milk/water to thin
    toppings: berries + banana + maple syrup + CRUNCHY PB
    CARROT CAKE PROTEIN PANCAKES🥕🥕🥕
    30g oats
    60g egg white
    1 scoop protein powder
    2 tbsp apple sauce
    1 tbsp almond milk
    1/4 tsp cinnamon
    1/6 tsp nutmeg
    Baking powder
    Vanilla extract
    1/4 cup shredded carrots
    TOPPINGS:
    Greek yogurt + protein powder + maple syrup
    More shredded carrots
    Walnuts
    Maple syrup
    CHICKEN NOURISH BOWL
    Air fried broccoli + air fried broccoli + Roasted sweet potato + avocado + chickpea + quinoa + Grilled chicken
    LEMON TAHINI DRESSING:
    1 tbsp Tahini + 1 tbsp honey
    + 1 tsp lemon juice + water if needed
    AIR FRIED CHICKPEAS:
    1 can of chickpeas + 1 tbsp oil + garlic powder + onion powder + paprika + cumin + chill powder + salt + pepper
    air fry for 15 mins at 400°F
    PEANUT BUTTER NOURISH BOWL 🥜🥜🥜
    My bowl: quinoa, chicken, sweet potato, edamame, air fried broccoli, topped with the peanut sauce
    THE SAUCE:
    1 tbsp Peanut Butter
    1 tbsp soy sauce
    1/2 tbsp rice vinegar
    1 tbsp sweetener (like maple syrup or honey or monk fruit etc.)
    A little gochujang/ sriracha/ chili flakes for taste
    1/2 garlic or some garlic powder
    Water to thin
    HOW I MAKE THE AIR FRIED BROCCOLI 🥦
    Wash & cut your broccoli
    In a bowl add a drizzle of olive oil and salt and black pepper, shake it around
    Pop it into the air fryer for 15 mins at 400F (I like to shake mine around in like 5 min intervals for even cooking) (I keep it in until extremely crispy and kind of burnt HAHA🤤)

    *"This isn't enough protein what a waste of a meal"* I've definitely been working through changing this mindset lately. It's a balance of getting enough protein to feel good but also not letting the negative thoughts creep in when not perfect.

      No, If food is fuel. And protein fuels muscles, then you didn’t eat properly. The meal didn’t serve its function.

      @@beth5795 carbs also fuel muscles. carbs help your body keep in water and our muscles need water that's why people take creatine supplement because it helps the body hold water in muscles. and I agree that protein is so important for blood sugar regulation and is the building block of our cells but stressing to an unhealthy anxiety attack producing level is worse than getting 85 grams of protein a day instead of the 100 gram goal.

      @@beth5795 even if it didn't you are still getting healthy nutrients, it's so so much better than eating junk food, so even if the meal didn't have protein, its healthier and the next meal you can just add more. Every meal serves its function just some do it better.

    being in my 30s means my body's changing but in ways i don't like, and it felt so bad to look in the mirror and not see my usual 20s body, but i was scared of things like "diet" and "regular exercise" because of the toxic culture around excessive dieting/exercise. i thought it was an all or nothing deal, and i was scared of not being able to keep up with those impossible standards. your videos and messages have really altered the way i think about my body/food/exercise and i appreciate you for it so much

    I’m 18 and I’ve been doing cardio for a year. And I’m obsessed when it comes to calories I was 60 kg before and lost 6 kg unfortunately I gained it back. It’s sad because I have unhealthy relationship with food and it’s draining, because all I think about is calories and my body. Seeing your videos really helped me. I wish that I can be happy again and enjoy my food without any guilt.

    linda, these past new months I have begun taking antidepressants which have brought my energy levels to an all time low. the thought of working out, let alone even half of what I used to be able to do with no problem, completely exhausts me. though, watching your videos motivates me to get up and do something that i know would help be feel better. watching fitness influencers like you that are able to show that even they have weak moments and are able to move past them seriously help me and so many other people not feel alone. I am so grateful to have found your channel, I love you so much.

      Yeah and maybe it sounds silly, but I think when I'm upping protein and eating more than 100 I just feel that I'm taking care of myself more and better and I have more energy through the day and better mood (probably mentally but still).

    When i saw youtube notifications and one of them is Linda's new vid, MY HAND IS SPEED! always wanna see her video and just hearing her talking makes me happy. She make me realize FOOD IS NOT MY ENEMY! i have to eat EVERYDAY. Eat something makes me happy but healthy in the same time. To exercise just for daily movement. And now i'm happy.     Linda im so happy that you are getting to know about what you value, and do the commitment to acheive it! Its very inspiring to me when you said you wanted to change your body because i recently realised that i was using toxic body positivity("ex. never try to change your body") to avoid from my vurnerabilities. I now try to believe that loving yourself is not same with not changing your self, and your videos help me a lot. ♥️ sorry for my bad english^^ haha

    I love this video! Thanks for your protein journey. As one who struggles with getting more protein I’m going to try the recipes you shared on your video. I’m really happy that you discovered weight training, it’s soooo fun.     I have been on my fitness journey since April and I have felt much better about everything physically and mentally. I tried eating healthier and work out more regularly. This past month I’ve been too busy with my new job, working 6 days a week. Hence, I was always so tired and I made bad decisions like eating fast food or skip a work out. I’ve been feeling bad and guilty about it all when stepping on the scale and seeing more fat on my body. I’m glad to stumble upon this as it brings smiles to my face while watching how your relationship with food has changed. I realised I was being too harsh on myself. It’s ok to lose my way in the process as long as I realise where I go wrong and attempt to fix it. Like you said ‘Life happens’ and we just need to find a way to fit important things into our life. Thank you so much for being so real and share your experience with us! I’m very grateful and I will just focus on my health before anything else because my mom always said ‘If you don’t have health, you cannot do anything’. And I wish everyone that watched this would all feel inspired, positive and love themselves unconditionally. ❤❤❤❤
