Hustler Dash XD mower height adjustment

Modify your 1/2” mower height adjustments to 1/4” increments on Hustler Dash XD or any other similarly equipped zero turn mower.

Using a washer on the blade mount bolt would be easier and a lot less cumbersome every time you want to do an adjustment. One time deal like a set and forget

Interesting idea, thanks! Not a lot of videos on the dash xd. Have you been happy with the 34”? I’m really struggling to pick a 34” for my gate or get a 42” and possible widen my gate. I like the idea of the deck coming past the wheels a little to get closer to my fence

Yes I have liked the 34” and overall size of the XD for getting through gates and into the garage. However, as you say there is not much trim room outside the tires. I do spend more time with the string trimmer but I was expecting that.

@@ellacolson4540 That's great to hear. I don't mind using my string trimmer too. I'm about 90% sure I want the 34" dash XD. I think it would be more than enough for my smaller(ish) yard and the small size would be best for storing in my garage (where any open space gets filled with something faster than you can blink). I will definitely use your height adjustment mod when the time comes. Have a good one.
