He's (in my interpretation) still disabled and has good and bad days with his illness and the magic he uses to give himself strength, energy. Sometimes he needs his wheelchair, sometimes just a cane. By "fusing" with Jellie Steven-Universe Style, it allows Scar to not only create his own magic alongside her but boosts their collective power and increases mobility by spreading their weight across four limbs instead of two. It's not a cure-all but it's easier on them. Life SMP has a "fairness factor" worked into its code that removes natural advantages (like Grian's wings and Scar's ability to become Scartaur) and stifles disadvantages - Scar can generate his own magic during Life SMP seasons. He still has the occasional problem, but it helps him to be more mobile than he might be otherwise.

They have a lot of little contrasts - being complimentary colors, Grian is always on the left and Scar is always on the right in every instance EXCEPT when Grian tries to pull him to the left during the first dance and at the end where they dance as friends instead of in some enemies' tango.

Haha, thanks! The original version was a bit darker. They would've killed one another and then woken up in Hermitcraft and waved at each other like nothing ever happened. But I couldn't time it right, so I scrapped that ending.

"__ went off with a bang" ...that's a firework death. That's the only way to get that death message. Someone shot them with an unnamed crossbow (more likely) or they used fireworks themselves and were too close to the explosion (much less likely considering they have no reason to use fireworks since they can't reach the end for Elytra)

Grian laid his head against his partner, with a small mischievous smile. "You know, I have some gunpowder I was going to use for TNT before I realized the recipe was changed." Scar tilted his head. "Not that I don't appreciate letting me know that... but why is that important?" Grian pulled out a singular rocket. "I was going to give this off to someone else, someone with a crossbow in exchange for a hit on you. However, since we've made up, I think using it for a celebration is a better plan." @@toucansfull To add on to this series’s lore and your design’s background, I like to imagine Scar’s Jellie Pandas are supposed to help give them strength and that’s why Scar is insisting on bringing them with him

If the pandas really did give him magic like Jellie does, Grian wouldn't really have a reason to be frustrated with them. Scar's strength is Grian's strength here, after all.
