I got rid of the flipaclip watermark poggers
Immediately after I finished watching all the double life finales I started working on this nonstop, I really wanted to get it out as soon as I could and cuz of that it was like the only thing I ever did for the past 2 weeks
I'm definitely gonna be taking a break after this
even after all that work I'm not super happy with how this turned out but whatever I couldn't care less at this point
idk why I decided to make this lol
I guess I just finished double life and immediately went like "I want to suffer." then I started planning this animation
still sobbing over how the homewreckers lost

there's a lot that I couldn't fit into this animation
like I completely forgot about the pool party and tbh I didn't even watch everybody's full perspectives lol

Your style is very fun, especially the expressions. I like the part where it's like "the devil that you forgot" and Pearl grins a bit that was creepy and cool and aaaaa so good!

I adore how you actually showed pearl draw her bow in the last scene! It brings so much importance in the story (she just went on a RAMPAGE so ofc she was ready to kill again), showing the realization was immaculate! Amazing work!
Side note: very unimportant nit pick here, the way you showed bows and crossbows hurt me a little (I’m an actual archer). I’m aware how hard it is to make mc items to correct portions! Though, a suggestion I would make for the future is when someone draws back a bow, they bring their hand back to about their ear (as someone does in normal archery). Also about crossbows, although in mc they are really small compared to irl ones, sizing them up a little bit for the animatic would do wonders!
This is a critique from an ass on the internet so please please please don’t take this harshly! It really was one of the best animatics on double life I’ve seen!
I am never going to get over "Tilly death do us part."
Scott may have given Pearl the win, but he stole the show nonetheless.
He finally got the epic finale he was robbed of in Last Life
The part I will never forget is going to be pearl stalking through the woods saying Something Wicked This Way Comes Something Wicked This Way Comes I got chills when she did that!
I feel like "As far as I'm concerned, I'm red as can be" should be given more attention simply because it marks her acceptance if her insanity.

@@joshhudson6151 scott’s a subtle story teller, it’s why he and jimmy agreed to team with other people in last life, to avoid being repetitive, he’d already won last life. (pearl would’ve totally beat him pvp in double life tho i agree)

One of my favorite deaths in the whole Double Life Series is Grian and Scar's first death to the pit of zombies. No idea why, but it might just be the fact that the reds were closing in on them, and there was a very small chance they would escape, and they didn't. But it wasn't any of the reds that killed them. And alsothat stalactite kill, like damn.
Grian and Scar had half the server trying to kill them, yet died to zombies. It’s kinda funny.

My favorite part about the stalactite kill is that BigB and Ren were both too busy being impressed to be even a little mad about it :D

I keep coming back to double life animatics. Honestly it has to be my favourite life series; the absolut drama that ensued was insane. There was so. much. that. happened. And Scott & Pearl's relationship.. bro.. it deserves it's own netflix show or at least a documentary.

And don't worry about the details, you covered most of the moments and that's way more than the _nothing_ most of us have done! This is awesome! Very pog, 10/10. I especially love how you matched the animation to the song so smoothly.
I love that Grian and Scar escaped the reds, then were found again and then them dying to the zombies gave off “I will kill myself just so that you don’t get the pleasure of doing it” vibes, even though it was not on purpose. And you animated that part so good, I don’t know why I loved it so much (not trying to sound rude).
I will never get over how good your animatics/animations are, these are so underrated 🤩♥Good job!!
wow!!! the song matches SO WELL, I loved all the pearl moments and the deaths, the hearts on their clothing and stuff was a great touch, you have done a amazing job with this!!!
It’s was hard to tell who’s is who but I love how you matched the scenes to the lyrics, also who agrees that Scott made the ultimate sacrifice because he originally didn’t want pearl but at the end he offed himself so he didn’t have to kill pearl. It warms my heart that you capture that at the end.
The fact I just pulled an all nighter tonight just to watch this from Scott's POV... I think I have a problem now
I have no idea why, but I absolutely love the frames at 3:25 and 3:28 and how you drew Scott and Pearl there. Just absolutely amazing.

This artwork is so good! I loved the final animation with Pearl and Scott, as well as showing all of the deaths. The ending of Double Life was so amazing, and the end to this animation gave me chills. This gets my like!

Ooooh love this!! Your lineart is so clean!!! And I’m super fond of the character designs (also how the enderman was drawn) and use of color for their lives- esp the location of their hearts/lives are different for each person!! Great choice of music too- Poor Mans Poison has such bangers and you lined up the events with the lyrics super well,, I really like 2:41 and 2:57 where Pearl’s expression changes (and also how the hearts break when ever someone loses a life),, the final Tilly death do is part bit was FANTASTIC

Ohohoho wow! I love this song, but it's not that well known, so when i saw this i was like "really?! It can't be surely..." but then the music kicked in and i was like "YES!!"
Jaw dropped at the entire thing honestly, it fit so well, better than i expected for a heavily story-driven song. And it's a testament to the drawing skill that i could recognise and remember pretty much every scene shown!
Oh i've just thought of something though
Don't know if this would have worked with the timing of the video
But since the "town at the bottom of that hill" is the deep dark, then the "black magic preacher" is implied to be the warden guarding the enchanter
Therefore the line "then that preacherman was hanging by a rope" could have shown the Rancher's Revenge Warden being pulled up with a fishing rod rope (then dying)
