If anyone is complaining about your videos it’s because they’re jealous. No one else is making vids like this so keep having fun making them. Most of us that like old 2 strokes love watching you guys ride them and keeping them alive.
WOW!! 😂 I am so happy the Blaster! I had a 90' from 90-96'! I put DG Pipe and DG Oval port silencer on it, Boysen Reed's, drilled the airbox, also put 18" rears, with a larger front sprocket... She ripped with 125cc dirt bikes round a off-road track/trails till like 55Mph!!
I would have never dreamed the blaster would have won a single race although I’ve never rode a tecate I have rode some mod blasters and they are fun but not really a fast bike I guess I just always thought the tecate was a faster bike thanks for the video
Awesome One of the best upgrades for a blaster is an oil reservoir delete so you can just use premix fuel. The majority that failed was because of that oil reservoir failing 👍
Love the vids. 2 questions, do you guys own all these machines? if so kudos and I'm jealous. 2. What mods were done to the Blaster for it to hang with a Tecate? does the Tecate have any mods or stock? keep up the great vids. I guess I asked this before the end of the video. so you kinda answered my question at the end. Still very cool. I personally love Tecates.
Great video guys I definitely enjoyed that. I will say, though that is one quick little Blaster!! I’ve had mine for 25 years if you get a chance check it out!! By the way the first year for Blaster was in 1988
My daughter's Yamaha blaster has full port n polish and 34mm intake along with a 34mm mikuni carb. Plus geared up, 22 inches out Back and 23x7 up front... it does sound around 70 mph and it will beat a stock polaris scrambler 400 2-stroke 4x4 for two high line pole lengths. Her boyfriend has a Polaris sportsman 1000 and for 1 city block they are dead even until the sportsman 1000 slowly pulls ahead.... ohh i also installed a 10.3:1 compression piston up from the stock 6.6:1
@@TheMapleDude1 the little blaster is very detuned in stock form.... it has a lot of potential hidden.plus many videos I see people do motor upgrades but never change the gearing.... to myself that don't make sense
Man that blaster either rips or Kawasaki is a dog lol!! Almost makes me want to pick up a blaster one day. Wish i could own them all like u guys so cool. Great entertainment keep it coming. Thank you
@@TheMapleDude1 Ya but still for a little machine that blaster is fast. Is it big bored or just ported with milled head or what. Going up against a liquid cooled performance quad that blaster is impressive.
Must be the air up there. What are the odds of 50% of your bikes having clutch issues. Like exactly 50% of them 🤔 🤨 Hater's gonna hate. Riders gonna RIDE... Fun and interesting Channel ladies. I Love it. BTW I am from Kansas, and I only drink raw milk.
@@TheMapleDude1 Right... something was slipping. The rear tires on the hard packed sandy road. Lol. You can see in the videos that those rears are still pulling up sand at a faster rate than the bike is moving, sometimes they are still ripping it up way down towards the end by the looks of the video. I diagnosis them with having a case of the excuses, with chronic bouts of hurt feelings, because their favorite didn't win. MAN... They can all be cool bikes. Lol. It's all good though.
I had a 1985 tri-z 250 and i wish i never had to sell it now i have a 1985 Atc250R and i need to get it back together but its hard when you dont have alot to work with also i have the 1985 atc250sx and i just loved my tri-z id do anything to get her back but if i get the atc250 r up and going ill be happier then well it will make my day id ride with yall if i had mine running i would ride the sx any time to ha ha but im in idaho
How is that Tecate loosing to a blaster? I have a Tecate 4 that I have had since I was 16 I would beat up on stock banshee’s and even an lt 500. And before I get a bunch dribble about how a 250R would be faster, yes I raced several that were different years and no they didn’t win.

Hey ace I really appreciate the comments. Thanks for watching. Old 3 strokes are great.
that is correct.. what he said ^.
Your collection is super admirable!
Thanks man.
Wow! A Tecate 4! Probably one of the rarest performance ATVs! Nice 🍻
I was lucky to find one like this.
I just found your channel. You drag race all the four wheelers I dreamed and read about in Dirt Wheels as a kid. Long live 2 strokes!
I can say the same thing... I only got these later in life. I read Dirt wheels just like you. Thanks for watching!
Haters are gonna hate. We love your videos. I'm 50 and my son is 23. We love to ride!
Appreciate you watching!

The blaster is a fun machine! Very easily modified.

Well to be fair the blaster has had work done to the motor.
I used to have one, and yours has the cap on tool box too.awesome

Perfect idea!

Thanks brother.
You know it buddy got to give it to the kid that boy can ride.
Awesome

Yeah that's exactly what happened in an earlier video against the 200x.
I can't bring it to myself to trust an auto oiler on a use machine
@@ecidemon5672 it didn't for us either

I had Tecate 4 use to bust honda's with it all the time lol i loved that thing
It handles poorly though.
There is no way a blaster is even in the tecate 4 league
The blaster has some work done on the motor it's quick.
Same thing I was thinking! Looks like that Tecate is low on power

Yeah it's fun and quick!
Race 400 ex against the blaster . 😊
Good idea.
Blaster couldnt beat tecate in the back of a truck stop sandbagging
Modded vs stock
