grew up in saigon and i remember my mom driving me to lotteria once or twice a week to get fried chicken and mozzarella sticks here, i even celebrated my 7th birthday here 😊
I've been catching up on your channel. Half way through your Pakistan series..... and just wow! Your absolutely beautiful children are just growing up so fast! All three. The eldest two in particular. Your entire channel will be a memory bank for you, your wife and your children. I remember watching a series on SBS or the ABC about aging and death. This family who were the focus of the series laid it out. Life wasn't about all the fancy dinners, clothes and 'stuff' you accumulated. It was about the memories you accumulated. I haven't travelled anywhere near enough with my own parents. But the interviewer in that series was correct. I remember all the simple things as a child. Trips to the zoo. Manly beach, eating fish and chips. Picnics, trips to the library etc. We didn't have a lot of money growing up either tbh. As an adult, spending almost three months in Europe with my mum in 2010 after my brother's wedding. And again on a surprise trip I gave her for her 70th birthday. We still talk about all those things now. I hope all five of you get to reminisce as you and your wife eventually go into your twilight years. What you're giving your children, and yourselves to be honest is just something money can't buy. Edit: Lordy, lordy, lord! Forrest eating the chicken. "That's spicy". Gulps milk. But then chows down for the next bite! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

We have Jollibee in South Florida, but by the looks of your video, I would much rather have Lotteria! I would love to try that kimchee rice bun, but I would have to have spicier options. I’d hope they’d have some spicy sauce packets you could pick up!
Do you guys ever use HAPPY COW?? It provides info on restaurants serving vegan and vegetarian food in every city around the globe! Seems like mom is often crossing her fingers for veg food. Saigon has many options listed!
best way to tackle saigon traffic..close ur eyes pray and walk..the scooters will go around u the cars will not, but they hopefully stop.=) Never seen that place will try it next time i pop over to saigon from bangkok..i never eat fast food but some items looked yummy
i think the mom is so giving and wonderful! they have gone to many asian countries but i dont see him making content about vegetarian food or making an effort to include her diet in his videos. it seems like her food is an afterthought. Thailand and Vietnam has a plethora of vegetarian options and yet he focus on his interest and almost perpetuate that with his kids; they too don't seem to have empathy for the mom's diet. I love the kids in the show but everytime they are about to eat, this lack of thought for the mom from both dad and children is so sad to see. why can't they buy vegetarian food for her, and then head over to Lotteria to buy food options for him and the kids? so she isn't left to just eat tomato sauce and spaghetti? clearly that is an effort that can be made while you are looking at the map for Lotteria? im such a fan of the family but this truly troubled me. all the best family.
Actually, I have not tried this lotteria fast food before & very curious. Wow ! I am so surprised that Granite & Cedar are so good in describing the food taste! They will be be very good bloggers in near future 👍😊 I laughed so hard when Jonathan told little adorable Forest “my poor burger” 😂 hahaha 🤣
Though not exactly "cheap fast food" in Vietnamese standard, KFC and Lotteria kinda establishes good standing in the Vietnam market. Compared to some other foreign fast food restaurant chains, I think their prices are a bit fairer (still pricey if you prefer a $1-2 worth of filling meal instead), their food quality is a bit better (personal preference), and their menu is more Vietnamese-centric. When McDonald opened its first store in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, I went there to buy a burger, then never visited again. The taste was so-so, but the menu was much less impressive.
Oh that’s not ketchup ahahah.. man, the kids are getting more articulate. Reading has really given them a much more broad vocabulary. Fun watching the kids grow into their own. Much love from Seattle, WA.
Ahh Lotteria My girlfriend's favorite restaurant in HCM we usually go there every morning around 11 AM :P she always the rice bun and gobble it up :P She always get the combo with it :P
Crossing the road in HCM city would give me an anxiety attack, since I live in Vancouver (Canada) where most motorists would stop (literally anywhere on the road) to let pedestrians pass. Traffic looks crazy like in most developing countries.
If you guys are hungry for Italian food such as Pizza or Spaghetti, please spoil yourselves and try Pizza 4P’s in Saigon! It is the absolutely best chain for that food category! And it is still very affordable! 🤤🤤
I don't know where y'all are from, but if you go to Florida I think it's in the Orlando area or in Orlando not sure though, there is a huge McDonald's and they serve all kinds of stuff like pizza etc. I believe it's two stories with games and a huge play place also.
To cross that traffic, I would follow the local, haha. Also, I understand that as tourist(s), you would want to see the town, but I would have stayed in and ordered like Grab, to not deal with the traffic. And I'm lazy.
@BagsPackedFamily I remember me at that age and I think the most exotic thing (for me) I had tried was duck when I try to get my kids to try different things and put on their plate they look at me as if it is the end of the world, you must be super proud 🥰
Lol Forest with the pause.. Ooo that's not ketchup... 😂
Yeah I always keep an eye on forest. I'm sure he will be the successor to this channel

You should be proud of your kids, they are so well behaved, polite and very articulate.
Do you guys ever use HAPPY COW?? It provides info on restaurants serving vegan and vegetarian food in every city around the globe! Seems like mom is often crossing her fingers for veg food. Saigon has many options listed!
The kids gave a much more thoughtful and articulate food review than grown up professional youtube bloggers 😂
These kids are pros! ❤
Good parents have raised them well.
Especially Boris
Love watching your family travel and experience Asia.
I love how articulate the kids are about how the food tastes! When I was that age, my descriptions didn't go beyond "it's good!".

Lotteria is an Italian word which means Bingo.

Mencoba hokben indonesia saya kira lebih baik ,jangan lupa untuk mencobanya

First time seeing your videos. I must say your older boy has that foodie review personality. He should do a lot more. He knows what to say.
Very well behaved kids! Forest is so cute. My wife and I want to really pinch his cheeks everytime he talks lol
Thank you for sharing all your travels. I may never get to Asia but I get a taste of culture from your family. Love you all❤
haha Forest do love his bread with those pinching bites on top of the burger! I have never heard of Lotteria, looks pretty good! 😊
I would like to tell you that you family are blessed with three lovely children
The 'lotteria' applies more to crossing the streets of Vietnam. Lol.
I love spaghetti but never had Jolliebee.
You are guys are such a lovely family. ❤️
Soon granite and cedar will be like their dad doing reviews and opening up a yt channel too haha 😁
Looooove how the kids are willing to try anything to eat at least once, many kids these days would turn there nose up at things like squid x
They are so brave with eating 🙌 They surprise us all time, especially Granite.
@BagsPackedFamily I remember me at that age and I think the most exotic thing (for me) I had tried was duck when I try to get my kids to try different things and put on their plate they look at me as if it is the end of the world, you must be super proud 🥰
