    Good video, heading there next month for a wedding and will definitely check out a couple of these places. Would you by any chance have a suggestion on where to buy some Marino wool T-shirts and regular shirts? I know you can’t answer every question like that that comes your way but I just figured I’d give it a shot. No biggie if you can’t have a great day and I will be subscribing. Thank you.

    Thank you for compiling your recos! We are going to visit Hanoi and HCM in a couple of months. Any chance of bargaining with the vendors at Saigon Square and Central Market, or are they mostly fixed price? :)

      @traveleatvietnam  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi - glad you found the video useful. Most places featured are NOT fixed price so bargaining is recommended! Happy shopping!

    Hi! This is very helpful. May I ask if you have the stall number of your favorite bag shop in Saigon Square?

      Hi - I put specific instructions in the description. I don’t know the stall number.

    Thanks for sharing! Cho em hỏi, Muốn mua áo dài thì đi đâu chị?

    • @traveleatvietnam
      @traveleatvietnam  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi - thanks for watching! Trong mấy chợ có bán áo dài. Chợ Bến Thành, Tan Định hoạc mấy tiệm thời trang. Nếu muốn đặt áo dài thì phải tới tiệm may hoạc google 'may áo dài' thì sẽ hiện lên mấy chổ để lựa chọn. Good luck!

    will you suggest buying a suitcase there?

    • @traveleatvietnam
      @traveleatvietnam  11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It's definitely cheaper to buy it in Vietnam - you can find suitcases in HCMC and Hanoi. They are mostly the polycarbonate ones. The Rinowa ones are pretty good copies.

    In most places, when they see tourists, they automatically inflate the prices by almost 100% or more

    • @traveleatvietnam
      @traveleatvietnam  24 วันที่ผ่านมา

      That’s true - it’s common to see huge mark ups in touristy places - that’s everywhere in the world!

    Ben Thanh markets way too expensive.

  • @munsaryan

    Ben than is the worst place to shop as soon as they see tourist price shoot up by 400% avoid this place

    • @traveleatvietnam
      @traveleatvietnam  หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      Ben Thanh market does require some heavy bargaining. The shop’s rent there is quite high that’s why they mark up their prices very high. As mentioned Saigon Square and Taka Plaza is more pleasant shopping experience.
