Dont be shy in negotiation in South east asia no one hates you for negotiating hard. but It gets annoying if you drag it too long if they dont want to reduce pretend you are not interested anymore then they will reconsider.
I'm a middle child just like Cedar; sometimes it ain't easy but we get through it. I think she is coming into her own personality. Great to see everyone again. Another fantastic episode.
Love watching your kids’ high adaptability-food, culture, environment, etc. I am sure they have their moments during traveling, but their exposure to different countries and the adventures will make a positive impact on their lives later on! Your kids reminded me so much of my kids when we lived overseas. My kids love American food but got excited when they have chances to eat food from other countries!
Your negotiation was great. I was born in Vietnam but living in the US. I was in VN last month, my negotiation was only 50% off of the asking price LOL... I'm proud of your kids they can handle the heat wave 100* degrees. My niece n nephew went in Ben Thanh market for only 2 mins they had to turn around and went to the mall near by to enjoyed cold drinks in the food court 😂🤣
Thank you 😊 It was SO hot 🥵 Our kids get use to it, but we all start to fall apart in the heat after a while. It just zaps our energy. We are working on our negotiation skills, but we still have a ways to go 😂
Glad to see you enjoying HCM city.. even not understanding a lot of language there. Respect that you are so open to new things coming at you, especially your wife and kids.. CUTE, especially the little one with all the emotions. Enjoy. I am a Viet man in California. From the date, you are still in Vietnam?
It is so interesting to watch you Americans traveling in Vietnam and enjoying all kind of street food and tropical fruit. It is also very pleasant to watch your 3 wonderful kids who are so easy adapt with Vietnamese foods and weather, especially this summer and raining season. I have a suggestion that, if is possible, and your family like sea food, You should make a video eating seafood buffet at these excellent seafood buffets at Cuu Van Long sea food buffet at Bitexco building or in any Poseidon Sea food Buffets in Vincom Mall at District 9, or Govap district. I think it will be an interesting video and your fan will like to watch it. Thank you for give us chance to watch you daily travel in Vietnam. God bless
They are not new to street food cause they live in Indonesia for many years already and travel around S.E.A. quite a lot. Naturally, the kids adapt easily to street food and weather in that region.

Thank you for taking time to do the comparison. the quality of the channel kislux is better, I bought it here, and you can ask them to take a photo for confirmation before shipping.
While you're in HCM, you can check the zoo here to see the difference from HN or check out the sunflower field in Thu Duc. Maybe a simple food tour in Ho thi ky market/ District 4 Vinh Khanh street. Also taking a walk at Bach Dang station where waterbus is. Wish your family a lovely trip.
As someone who living at fixed price country this is one my worst nightmare, bargain. Wifey definately kill me if I bought overpriced and junk souvenirs from overseas trip.😂 Thanks for trip experiences.😊
More bargaining videos please. And please involve your children in bargaining, will really open them up in the outside world and that will help a lot in their future.
OMG I was just in Vietnam.. In Hanoi and Hoi An. Got so much crap from the shopkeepers for bargaining. They took out the 'you Indians always bargain so much' card. Good to see you guys bargain as well. 😃
You must have bargained way too hard. Go easy cause these little shop keepers don't earn much at all, so a few pennies/dollar more doesn't hurt to help them if you can well afford it.
@@simply.k3573 not at all. Just asked once very politely. I went to book a day tour for ninh binh. I knew the guy was asking too much because I had considered booking online. This person asked for $45 and gave crap for me asking him to come down to $35. Later at the third store the lady quoted a realistic price of $28. We ended up going for the more premium one and paid $34. So I don't think me asking him to come down to $35 was that unrealistic.
Good job on negotiating guys! Next time when you're visiting Jakarta, go to Semasa art market (it's an event that runs pretty often in a year). A lot of local goodies from young artists. It'll be fun! Sometimes they run it as a picnic, then as a typical bazaar... A lot of things you can find such as crocheted bags, printed arts, shirts, accessories, boots, jackets... Perfumes, skincare... They offer a lot of foods, drinks, n snacks. But expect it to be on a lil pricey side
You are doing a great job teaching kids negotiating. They def start ridiculously high at tourist price when they see you, (650k for the sunglasses😬) …so they are set to make an ok sale even when you get them down. Well done
you guys did negotiate ok save a few bucks but y’all could’ve been more aggressive by asking for lower prices but this is a family channel so you guys did good 🤑👍
I visited Vietnam with my colleague many years ago. Luckily, my colleague's brother could speak Vietnam very well since he has lived there for years. When we were shopping for souvenirs in the tourist market, I got the reasonable price for a carved wood product.
An average Vietnamese would never go shop in Ben Thanh Market. It’s something for tourists since they charge everything sky high. But I see it clean and more organized in there that would fit foreigners’ experience. They also speak English which is convenient. The merchants must have to pay a very high rent to have a shop there too, so I think it make sense to have pricey goods. But you should negotiate tho. It’s part of trading in Vietnamese markets.
Wow! 98 degrees is way too hot 🥵 I wouldn't be able to enjoy eating or shopping in that heat. I guess you guys must have acclimatized to the warm weather in Asia.
Durian Should be Like "Creamy Onion Custard." The Thais like it more firm but my wife is from Singapore and really wants it soft. The more expensive one may have been better quality. Possibly a different variety and much smaller seeds. I love Durian, it's so good. I think I understand that you all live in Indonesia so you must have great durian there as well. Your Negotiating is pretty good!! (For A Fellow American) 😅
