CONTACTS TO HIMALAYAN WOOL! Got a new email address to Himalayan Wool that is better to use than the one I give you in the video. On their own request use: himalayanwoolab@gmail.com. /Stina
Hi Stina! Thanks to you I now have a Balder hoddie, a Falen hoddie and a small stock of Himalayan Wool hoddies. Hehehe. Great stuff. Love them all! Cheers! /Orm
Hi Stina and Matti I really enjoy your presentations which are very professional and informative. Im an English man living in Göteborg. After watching this video i decided to contact Himalayan wool and ordered 3 wool hoodies. Thank you so much for adding the contact details! The hoodies arrived quickly by post and im extremly happy about the quality. Absolutely perfect for the swedish winter. Thanks also for the washing tips. Have a great aitumn/winter ❄️ season. 😊👋🏻
wool is the best....I wear woolen clothes all year round. In hot weather woolen T-shirts and the rest of the year woolen hoodies and sweater. I love the products from Ivanhoe, Bergans and other smaller brands.
Hi Stina, it's nice to find quality pieces of gear and clothes which you can have confidence in time after time. Also the natural fabrics like wool last such a long time that the environmental footprint is greatly reduced, making for happy users and a cleaner planet to go on enjoying our adventures in. Great video and advise as always 👍
Thanks Stina for such an honest, soulful review. A winter trip to Jokkmokk should include a winter market shopping visit, yes? Old sweaters never die, they just pill away!
My favorite brand of Merino Wool Hoodies & Base Layer garments is "Icebreaker". The manufacturer is in New Zealand, the wool is responsibly resourced & their products are sold world wide. Yes, I'm a long time subscriber, rang the notification bell years ago & am a Patreon contributor. Warm Regars from far away Reno, Nevada, U.S.A.
We are so grateful for your support 🙏 and all your nice comments throughout the years ❤️.. We only have a little beanie of the ice breaker brand, but it's great. /Stina
I too enjoy a good wool hoody, my favourites are my Brynje Antarctic Jackets. I like the Himalayan wool hoody you showed in the video, I will be emailing them to order one, thank you.
Jag har använt min Woolpower jacket i åtta år men nu i februari köpte jag den mörkgråa hoodien från Himalayan wool, woolpowern har legat i garderoben sedan dess 🤭 tack för ännu en bra video, som vanligt ✨
You can usually fix a zip by pinching the uppy-downy-clasp-zipper bit with some pliers. I think I got that tip from Alpkit. There must be some TH-cam information out there on that somewhere. I've used it a couple of times on my Nanok insulated jacket. I'm a big fan of Varusteleka these days. I have some of their merino underwear and a couple of their wool shirts. I haven't tried their wool hoodys though. My Ulfrotte tops are still in too good condition after 19 years for me to justify it to myself 😁
Great reviews, especially after lots of use! I love the 100%wool one and will email, but not holding out much hope that they'll post to the UK! If I can't get it, I'll try the Klattermusen. 👍
Great video. The adventurer in me love these, the biologist in me a little bit less. Correct me if I’m wrong but when natural and synthetic materials are mixed it’s almost impossible to recycle. For me that’s the ultimate problem when I’m shopping for new outdoor clothing. I usually go for 100% merino or 100% synthetic if no choice (like capilene from Patagonia).
Thank you for the honest and practical review. Always wanted to go to the famous Jokkmokk winter market and to buy a winter hoodie is now another reason ! Is there any winter camping ? I suppose all of the accommodation is expensive and or fully booked.
Hi stina, Love this gear video. Quick question; me and my sister. Wil be hiking padjelantaleden next end of August beginning of September. I’m in doubt what midlayer to bring. What would you recommend? Some fleece houdi like the Houdini or take the down puffy? Love all you guys video’s !! Cheers from Holland
@TonyHobbs -7c is no problem for them, but in cold temps, they always wear jackets, and they always sleep in the tent or cabin. Never outside. How thick the coat is can differ a lot between individuals as well. If it's super cold, we leave them at home. /Stina
I rather use a wool sweater and a wool bonnet. Can use it on bike, motorcycle with helmet anywhere. Ha them from ireland and iceland locally handmade. And a bunch of norwegian thick high neck sweaters. Yours look good too but the hoody thing doesn’t work for me even if one can unzip the head part. If there’s a neck to protect the high necker or a scarf will do.
Thank you for the Review of your wool products that you both use. I tried the email address provided for Himalayan Wool, but it came back as unknown. Has it been changed? I am In the USA and was trying to contact. Would the phone number be a better way to contact? Thank you.

Det är nog ingen risk! För dessa videor är ändå väldigt uppskattade för de som reser över halva planeten för att delta i aktiviteterna. För oss som är relativt vana vid klimatet kan det verka enkelt. 👌🏼✨

You're probably right. Houdini says they use recycled material (synthetic). /Stina
Woolpower merino is very good,a shame they dont offer a hoodie version.

I would bring both a wool or fleece houdi and a puffy jacket that late in season. And merino long underwear. /Stina
@@JOKKMOKKGUIDERNA ✅ I will bring both ! Thanks for your quick reply 🙏🏻
How is the size on the full wool hoodies? True to size?
The Himalyan wool hoodie can differ a bit in size. If you order one, tell them your measures and I think they can give you the correct.
How do your border collies get on with the cold? Do you put coats on them? Mine just laughs at cold certainly to minus 7c she stayed outside my tent .

wool is king, no manmade material can beat it.
Yes, it's the best! 🐑❤️
Can you say anything about the sizing of the Himalayan wool ones? Do you go with your usual sizes?

No hoodies are maybe not for everyone. What is a bonnet?
What kg have yours dogs?
What do you mean? How much our dogs weight? If so I would say they weight between 15-28 kg.
We call those little balls: pills
Ahh thank you, now I learned a new word. 😊
Pilling or bobbling
