    I was diagnosed with Sudden Deafness Syndrome in the right ear, which happened out of the blue within minutes one day, and the horrid very loud and high frequency tinnitus has never stopped. My ENT couldn't help me at all. They did an MRI. The audiologist did their testing too. Now the problem is the severe headaches I get nearly every day on the same side of head. This has been going on for around 2 years now, with the headaches escalating. My docs are sending me for another MRI. I can't take regular pain meds due to liver problems, so no doubt I will end up going to a pain clinic for a possible fentanyl patch. Tinnitus has brought my life to an absolute stand-still. I can't do anything because of the tinnitus-induced headaches. I hope I learn something on your channel that will help.
    Thank-you

      @@Andrew-pp2ql Google it. They developed an app for Android/iOS. takes 60mins per day, to do the conditioning. The treatment is based on neuroplasticity. The point of the process, is to stimulate the nerves leading to broken hairs, to search out the nerves of unbroken hairs, to reconnect. in the short amount of time I have been doing TSC, I have already lowered the level of one particularly annoying high random chirpy sound in my tinnitus. I am subscribed to the app, on a month to month, while I go through the initial first 30 days. It's reasonable, at about $12 a month. You want a decent pair of ear buds to use the app properly.

    My left ear doesn't have the "ringing", it's more of a drum tapping. I checked my pulse to see if they were in rhythm together, but the drum tapping was easily three times faster. It comes and goes. It may even disappear for several days, and then Boom it's back for several days. No other symptoms. I have an appointment with my local ENT, but it's going to take 3 months to get in there. Checked around for out of town clinics, same wait time. Had no clue so many people needed ENT check-ups. Wow.
    Great video, didn't rush and even explained it so I could understand. Thanks !

Sometimes vertigo as well. I'm not sure about the root cause but i guess it was a loud noise exposure. I have a question, does the tinnitus comes "instantly" after a loud noise exposure or can it also take some days or weeks until the tinnitus starts? Because i cannot remember anymore and i try to reconstruct my root cause for a better treatment hopefully...

    Some, if not most, of these comments are dissapointing to read, I get more stress. Looks like there really is no hope regardless of what is said on the video. For most commenters their tinnitus just gets worse over time. I woke up suddenly more than a week ago with a high pitch sound in my right ear. It's like the sound of silence but louder coming from the right ear, and the high pitch sensation bothers my brain. I read on google that sometimes tinnitus might last up to 2 weeks and go away but I really doubt that will be my case, I'm almost 2 weeks in, in couple days. If anything, it feels louder at night and my sleep has been disturbed. I have always valued my silence. I love silence because it helps me relax, concentrate, and day dream so now I'm emotionally hurt that I have lost that. I had a normal audiology test results today, and was confirmed twice that I have no ear wax, so I will see my PCP again to get an ENT referral. Let's see where this takes me.

    I tried to set an appointment for the ENT. I was told I would not be able to see the doctor until I got an audiograph done first, and that all the audiograph clinics were booked for the next six months... I am at a loss for what to do right now. This noise is usually low enough that I can ignore it, but sometimes it just goes crazy for a day and its almost unbearable, to the point that I can't focus on anything else except the sound. The doctor I saw said there was a small white piece of something (he thought it was cotton) against the eardrum but he was unable to get it out by flushing the ear. Could a small piece of debris against the eardrum cause tinnitus like this? It comes and goes but its always there to some level, and it started one day out of the blue. I've never had even the slightest hint of tinnitus before.

    I have had tinnitus for years, the kind you only notice when you focus on it. In 2019 I had a sudden hearing loss in my left ear. I ended up having an MRI to see if I had an acoustic neuroma, which I didn’t. During the night after the MRI I was awoken with a loud tinnitus spike which I had never experienced. For about the next 2 weeks I would get about 2 spikes per day and then the tinnitus became constant. It has remained constant since that time. I am convinced my louder and constant tinnitus is a result from the MRI. The MRI was approximately 2 months after the hearing loss. I didn’t have it in those 2 months. It seems too much of a coincidence to not be true. Can you offer me any insight? Thank you

I’ve been suffering from a unilateral left ear, sort of on and off almost on daily basis (one day on the next off) for a year now and every time I have it on if I press against my left haw socket it’s louder, if I press just behind the left ear it’s louder. Is this is not a cause ? Have been to en ENT twice and he ran couple of tests and both confirm I have a hearing loss in the left ear. Please help.
    Edit: I don’t have any headache, dizziness or balance loss.
    I have an MRI tomorrow.

      @treblehealth  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It's good that you're getting an MRI to rule out other issues. Since you've already seen an ENT and have hearing loss confirmed, it might also be worth consulting with a specialist who deals with somatic tinnitus or TMJ disorders. Best of luck with your MRI!

      @treblehealth thanks a lot, as it turned out I have a problem with C3 and C4 my doctor called few days after the MRI as he received the results. He says C3 and C4 are damaged and they're touching a nerve on the left side and he believes this is the issue. Have an appointment with him 5th of August to see what he suggests.

    How long does it generally take after earwax removal for Tinnitus to disappear? Of course, given that the earwax is the root cause of the problem.

    • @treblehealth
      @treblehealth  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If tinnitus is caused by impacting earwax, the tinnitus tends to disappear within minutes to a couple hours after having the wax removed.

      I would recommend consulting an audiologist for a comprehensive assessment of your cochlea. They can perform various tests, such as audiometry and otoacoustic emissions testing, to evaluate the health and function of your cochlea and identify any potential issues or abnormalities.

    I think I ruptured my ear drum during a concert but I didn't notice the ringing until I got home. It began on my right ear then switched to my left ear after 4 days, and its been 9 months and I still hear it 24/7 in my left ear. Two doctors said it would go away months ago, now I'm going to an ENT specialist. Is there anything else I should do? Can the ENT really fix it?

    • @treblehealth
      @treblehealth  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's unlikely that the ENT can "fix" the tinnitus unless there is something anatomically abnormal. We are here to help if you don't get the answers you are looking for from your ENT!

    Left ear only for the last 40 years. Scale of about a 3 / 10 screaming noise. Gun shot sound was the cause. About 15% loss of hearing. Gets worse with sinus issues and now that I am 60 it is worse. The only thing to be done is a Hearing Aid from Starky with a custom “T” background sound.

    Does inappropriate sinus tachycardia cause unilateral tinnitus?

    • @treblehealth
      @treblehealth  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Inappropriate sinus tachycardia is typically associated with a rapid heart rate that originates from the sinus node in the heart. While IST primarily affects the heart rhythm, it's possible that it may indirectly contribute to tinnitus if there are related vascular or neurological factors involved. However, it's essential to consult with a healthcare professional for a thorough evaluation and diagnosis of your specific symptoms and conditions.

    Dr. Can you please make a video on tinnitus retraining therapy. On 10/31/22 I was at the gym after a normal day at work on my office 9-5 job. It was a normal day, used head phones here and there. Arrived at the gym and after a bench press set I felt my ears getting clogged like jet lag but the right ear went back to normal in a minute but the left ear remained kinda full (fullness feeling) and started to hear hissing and buzzy sound. I left the gym and driving home I realized it got worse in the left ear. The hearing went down. Went to the ENT and they said I have SSHL. My hearing is starting to recover and I can cover my right ear and capture words if someone is standing close to me and was able to take a phone call from the left ear but it wasn’t as clear as the right ear. Currently I have 2 steroid injections in the left ear and oral steroids that I’m on the last pills of as I was instructed to taper my dosage down. Tinnitus came down as well but what will Tinnitus sound therapy do for me as I’m going in for my 3rd injection and another could follow the following week
