been using M32 80 Overall Sound And Half Way Up on Interphase lol i tell everyone it’s the headphones you’re using irl some pick up mids and highs noises better. i use Audio Tech Studio Monitoring that aims for the high lows to mids vocals should hear how easy pin pointing is

I swear by the M32s myself with my current setup (set up for gaming and recording/mixing music) but I used to use nothing but the GSShs when I was using heavily EQ’d headphones at one point, with the EQ set to boost the low/sub-bass to mid-bass frequencies. The GSSh in-game headset is known for its harsh sound profile but to me it was the best sounding one out of all of them. These days I use IEMs with recessed mids, and the M32s sound very neutral without the need of any EQ software. Your irl audio equipment plays a big part on how the in-game headphones sound to you, and that’s without mentioning the fact that we all have different ears and perceive sounds differently. I can’t stand the Sordins personally but my duo swears by them. It all comes down to personal preference and equipment. I apologise for the long reply to your comment, I just wanted to leave my two cents as someone who works with audio equipment every day and also plays Tarkov.
Adding to my previous comment; I would like to mention that I am aware of the impact the in-game headsets have on hearing distance. However, I do not think this is a deciding factor personally for which headset you should opt for. Whatever sounds the best for you and doesn’t cause ear fatigueness is far more important over hearing additional 5 meters.
good video, my only question is what are the actual info for each EQ dot just to make sure we get the same sounds, then trying to guess the placement of the dots

After a couple raids, I gotta say that spacial audio is not for me. It's too disorientating and I can figure out locations better without it. The rest, top notch.
Is there a way to tune this profile so your own footsteps arent ear shatteringly loud? The difference in other audio is astounding but only if im standing perfectly still. If i walk or run, the ONLY thing i can hear is my own footsteps, everything else is drowned out.
Why is spacial audio on? The game doesn't work well with any additional virtual or spacial audio besides binaural. Jusy genuinely asking why you have it selected as in very curious if it'll improve my audio
I tested extensively between; - In-game stereo no binaural - In-game binaural on - In-game binaural on with spatial audio enabled I found that having just stereo was similar to binaural, despite the popping bug which is extremely useful to identify pmcs/pscavs therefore keeping it on will give you a small but noticeable advantage until fixed. _____ Spatial audio as it is exactly setup in the video will increase the level of sounds at the outer distance of your hearing. Say we're using tactical sports, my hearing distance is; - 65 metres for enemies walking - 70 metres for enemies running With spatial audio off you're going to miss sound ques at the edge of this radius (around 10 - 20 metres). They're also going to be too quiet to provide you any information as to what they're stepping on (wood, glass, asphalt etc.) / doing (ads, medding, looting etc.). With spatial audio on you're going to get the previously mentioned audio information in a louder and more readable manner. This will maximise on the benefit of using in-game headsets that have the increased audio range. Streamer Glorious_E has a very similar setup to this other than the altered EQ that I personally use for this exact reason.
@@shini9966 ohh so to put it simply.....the spacial audio function isn't really "3D surround sound" but a "spacial audio enhancer" that won't conflict with binaural or the sound engine. I've turned off 7.1 ....DTS ....Sonic and ANYTHING that would potentially conflict with the game 😅 I've been searching a lot on this subject and I tip my hat for elaborating in such detail....thank you so much for clarifying I'll turn it on and mess around with it. Always used EQs in music, Never even considered using it for games.
I tried this and it made sounds so weird. Ambient noise got really loud.

When you came to the GG eq and showed the tarkov curve first I was like oh no. But you modified it😂 the original is so much worse then raw output.
