If you're brand new to Escape from Tarkov chances are you might be a little overwhelmed with how complex this game can get. There are so many little tips and keybinds that can make your time in game much more
enjoyable that don't seem to get talked about enough, so that's why today I'm going to be showing you guys 25 tips in tricks that will completely elevate your gameplay in Escape from Tarkov.

5:00 I prefer heavy bleed med on press and light on release. That way if you have both it will prioritize fixing heavy first 😊
I do the same, seems better to me, was doing that for the two previous wipes and it's been working for me
That's how I do it. This way the heavy bleed is prioritized. It's the more dangerous bleed, handle it first.
The healing keybind one seems pretty useful. Usually i would have heavy bleed, medkit, painkillers and a light bleed bound to 4-7 respectively, usually meaning i would fumble around trying to use the right healing item. that tip is gonna save me a lot of stress and time using it the way you said
For me I would much rather choose which meds to use individually depending on the situation. If I get shot in the thorax and have a bleed, sometimes I would rather just burn my Salewa on it so I can heal it and stop the bleed quicker. Seconds matter a lot in tarkov fights.

Im sure this video will help a lot of beginners, this is my first wipe and my friends taught me most of these stuff, but it normally is so hard to learn these as they are mostly unintuitive, yet regarded as common knowledge in the community. Well done on making a straight to the point video
reading chat while playing is the best thing you can do. Know where to look and rotate at all times. Get a 6th sense of what is going on. Just have to remember not to read to much chat because then people will catch on

3:13 crouch walking at min speed absolutely makes sound, i can literally hear it in this video
@@tasmium YOU make noise, other players do not. This is irrelevant now though, because it’s been fixed.
Change emergency weapon reload to a different key and save .3 milliseconds with your press reload
I keep my emergency reload on Tilda! I refuse to hit that on accident
@opticalsalt2306 that's my inspect on release and fix malfunction on press so I tap twice and good to go
A huge tip when I started playing 3 years ago that made me so much better is find a good FOV. Originally I put it on 75 and when i first started playing and then I lowered it to 59-65 I was able to spot people so much easier and won so many more fights
63 has been money for me.

I copied landmark 59, 75 is way 2 much the players are actually skinnier looking so harder to hit lololo
When doing the heavy and light bleed to key bind 4 make sure u do heavy bleed to press and light bleed and heal too release that way when u press it it will do the heavy bleed first and not take it out of the heal kit just the heavy bleed fix, as it cost a lot more points to fix a heavy bleed out of a heal kit.
I rebound my regular leans to the forward and back buttons on my mouse, then made shoulder swap both at the same time. I changed the Q and E keys to the slow leans. Been playing for years and i havent used the leans as much as i do now since it was so clunky with default binds

If you have never tried reverse leaning it’s super smooth for me Q is lean right and E is lean left

I’ve always binded discard item to left control and spacebar. I have pretty much fully unbinded alt from any keybind due to it being less fluent ergonomically and instead moved it all to the control key with few exceptions like overhead blind fire. Prone is one touch x and crouch to c. Drop bag double tap z for intentional usage.

For deleting items, I re-binded console from “ ‘ ” to “ = “ and delete item to “ ‘ “, it’s so good
The space bar left click and healing is clutch
Rebind "drop item" to the tilde button, the button that has the ~ and ` symbols. It's normally used to open the console, which is basically useless anyway. You can spam it much faster than doing space + left click, and it's easy to reach.
Also a great option. I prefer space + click because I don’t have to move any fingers when using it. Much easier for me.

I dont know why you day slow crouch walking is a bug for no sound, all but one wipe its been this way an the one wipe it made sound it was patched and fixed
Honestly I doubt that silent crouch walking at the slowest speed is a bug. The alternative is you have literally no way to move at all without someone hearing you and you have to choose between sitting completely still and giving away your position. You'd never have any ability to sneak up on anyone or sneak away from a fight that you don't want to take.
I get how important sound is in the game but I think it's intentional and I hope it stays as is. You can also be heard on glass if I'm not mistaken by the way so it's not all surfaces. People need to be aware of it though and not solely rely on their ears to save them.
Its not a bug its been completely silent every wipe but one and it was quickly patched and fixed to make no sound again.
For anyone who can’t/isn’t comfortable with space left click discard, I changed the ‘console’ binding to the backslash button so I could use the button under escape as a discard button. It’s not as efficient as the space bar one but it def works well
Honestly anything is better than delete or some random key that’s out of the way.
Not really a gameplay tip but if you don't have containers or flea unlocked, you can just buy 3 CSA rigs and put them inside a Pillbox backpack to get 32 slots out of 16 used in stash.

Some of these tips are the most commonsensical tips of all time. Should rename to “Beginner + Advanced Tips” and organize the video like so.
They’re just general tips that I’ve learned over my time playing. There’s something in here for just about everybody.

I use mouse button 4 for discard and mouse button 5 for Y
After like 3 wipes it took until finishing this video to realize that my discard key being "p" is quite inefficient

how did you bind both the ifak and hemostat to the "4" key at 4:55 im trying to and its not working, i have the same settings u demonstrated
Hold in your keybind on the light bleed, hover over the heavy bleed and release the key. Sorry, totally forgot about that.

Healing one is cool but has bugged my raid with permanent “hands busy” twice now
It's pretty common bug I guess, I sometimes get it when I discard a mag that I'm filling up
Was fixed with last patch
@@Chevalier_knight sadly hands busy still comes sometimes if i check my own mag at the same time i unload a mag from a body

No it's not. It's really convenient to heal all bleeds just by spamming one button.

I recommend dont use space-lclick, use a mouse key or something else. Heres why, when you find a lets say helmet, drag and hover it over your current helmet. Now you can immediately equip the new helmet while using the throw button.
Or just space click your helmet and alt click the new one. The time saving is very minimal.
Or you download cheats for free since its proven that over 60% of the tarkov community cheats in atleast 1 way.
No cheaters, just people reading chat. No one....especially streamers would ever cheat for money..My streamer would never, I watch their stream and therefore that makes us bffs. And I know what kind of person they are. Or you can just be like Ginger, your just a God at the game on your 4th raid.
