Just received my new Leica Q2 (it's a bit of an upgrade from my previous IIIA and M2!). What a treat; a big thank you to my long-suffering wife :-) This clip of yours is a very useful set of tips - thanks very much!
Very helpful (except the loud music, which is - in my opinion - completely obsolete), thanks al lot for sharing, I'd like to see more videos about the Leica Q2 from you!
is the tracking autofocus and AF-C usable? i hear it hunts a lot, and mostly just pulsates to try to find a new point of focus, so much so that it is almost inadvisable to use it at all.
@@standardh_ Brighter and more shallow depth of field. Aperture wider open catches more light (brighter) but also narrows down sharpness outside of depth of field.
Despite I have just Leica Q 1 Danke for all useful tips, man, really like your videos, only your music is way too loud for my earphones, nice town, which city you live in?
I am not sure, it is the LED of the eye detection sensor but it only blinks when I film with my Galaxy S10+ and not when I film with my iPhone ... mysterious.
@@ralfferfi2860 Its great you spoke up. Background music should be background and not become foreground and not distracting from content. I am glad you raised the point.
I wanted to take time-lapse photos with my Leica Q2, so this was very helpful.
Thank you very much.
I want to take a time lapse of clouds, too.

Really useful (apart from the background music which like most TH-cam is distracting and unessesary).
Can the Q2 be triggered with an external intavalometer?
helpful thx

Good suggestion for another video, I will try out next weeks and get back, thanks.
Just posted a video for you ;) General tracking works very well, even with wide open aperture f/1.7.
@@mathphotographer I see you shot this at f/4. How would the images have been different wide open. Just brighter, yes?

Petr Sumbera Live in Zurich, nice Swiss city. Will turn volume of sound lower when playing in background.
What is that blinking light on the viewfinder?

Eye detection sensor, you see it often on TH-cam also with other cameras ...
I agree with homhomtube, excellent except the muci
Thank you for taking the time, but why oh why the music from 2:40 ? Does not add anything at all to your otherwise highly informative video.
Thanks for the hint and the positive comment on content & information. Happy to consider for next video.
Background music is much too loud. I can’t understand you😢
Sorry to hear, Ralf. I will tune it down next time, thanks for getting in touch on the issue.
@@mathphotographer thanks! I like your Videos very much!

All echo, music and accent. Could hardly understand anything.
