I bought a random chillout CD from my local thrift store and this song was on it. I just listened to it for the first time and started crying for some reason.
the entire CD is a real masterpiece.... same here. I got this CD 20 years ago in Amsterdam in a record shop... and got stuck to it from the very first listening. And I am a sound engineer for more than 25 years.... but this album is priceless!
😭 This reminded me of The Snowman every time I watched this music video when I was growing up. The almost Raymond Briggs meets Where the Wild Things Are vibes about this whole piece. They used to play it plentifully on Classic FM TV surprisingly before it disbanded.

The man's voice shook me making direct connection like stitching a loop of thread, directly to my exact moment and scene... There simply are no words... I searched and fond this posting...tada Relax and respect...hugs to the big world

In my mind, these simple lines were performed to perfection. Can you give us any insight on the directive style of the writer/author/composer? Did you yourself make any artistic/timing suggestions or were you directed very specifically as to how you were to perform the piece?

It was on “The Karma Collection 2002” by the Ministry of Sound - burgundy velvet cover. The sequel - the 2003 edition - had a purple cover. :)
