@@MrHistorical9 I wish people didn't bash off ps3/x360 era of intense color filters, yes sure it's too much, but if it's done right, it makes the game better, literally AC1 looked good and felt grounded in realism in comparison to Mirage's bright & colorful as if it was a game targeted towards Fortnite teenagers.

Im playing ORIGINS atm and it always amazes me at how good this game is, there are a number of breakdowns on ORIGINS, one from ACG in which he does a ''walkabout'', it really brings out the level of detail, passion and care that was levelled at ORIGINS. Origins was considered the ''Next Level'' during its development, and is still a stunning example of a game done right, all the inhabitants have jobs and duties, when in a village or city, its alive with the hustle and bustle of everyday life, just spend a min or two, and watch it all happen organically. I don't think UBI positioned Mirage as ground breaking or a new milestone, just a stepping stone toward the next phase of AC, Mirage is a small project from a new team encompassing core AC components with a back to basics structure and feel, it does have a old school vibe about it. Looking forward to playing later today.
if this ac mirage is what ubi call as a stepping stone for the next ac which is code red (ac in japan, ninja and samurai) which all people have been waiting for for a decade now then the next ac game (core red/japan/ninja) will also be shit. their engine is old, just like bethesda engine, they need either make a better engine or just use unreal engine 5. modern engine would be red engine, even that, they will be using unreal engine 5 for their next witcher game which will begin in production next month btw and will be released for next gen consoles (ps6 in 2028). bethesda also will use unreal engine 5 for their next es 6 which also already in production since two years ago and also will be released in 2028. the only engine that is good from ubi is actually snowdrop for their division 1 game, their division 2 also use snowdrop but its much worse compared to the 1st one by a large margin even until now. while for their other engine which is used for ac games and ghost recoon which is anvil, only 1 game that is actually looks great which is gr wildlands. so all in all, only two games in ubisoft that actually looks great and play great and both also fully optimized for pc.

I wish saturation was tuned a little bit more in Mirage. It looks kind of bland especially when compared to Origins or Odyssey. But i guess they wanted to go with that middle eastern desert feeling

The last assassins creed game i played was black flag. I have played all the other additions that was released before 2014. The game that caught my eyes was origins. Though it would be better to play the games in order but still. Unity and syndicate didn't really intrigue me.

Would I dislike Mirage if I didn't like Origins? I did like like a few things about that game, but I thought it was a bad "Assassin's Creed" game. I quit the series after Origins, but I am thinking about giving this Mirage a shot since it apparently has no RPG and is set in the Middle East.
The desert sand details and tracks in origin are gorgious, in mirage both are shocking bad. looks like winter and like skiing tracks. The water comparision was unfair at some points because the scenery was more beautiful in Mirage at some points, but the water in Origins looks also as good as in Mirage, cannot see any major difference.
I always wonder in the games like this why would dev redo all the animations and stuff? Why don't they use their own assets and focus on something more noticeable, such as new mechanics, new gameplay feautures, story, variety of weapons or something else
Finally with mirage the things went to where they should be, I still think the game should be back to Italy or something new like China or Japan, also the parkour and a lot of other details were much better in unity, they seem to go back and forward…
The problem with mirage is the chromatic aberration..it works good with darker games but not with brighter games. I understand the effect there trying to get but it just doesn't work with this game..I mean most parts look a Lil better than origins but givin the time difference it should look alot better! I too agree with many of the points on origins. It to me, is still the better game, as it’s menus, physics and just over all gameplay works amazing. Ubi, please work from the bones of origins on your next game. Especially the menu/navigation…
Awesome, just what I wanted to see
No way anyone can say mirage looks better.
I wish saturation was tuned a little bit more in Mirage. It looks kind of bland especially when compared to Origins or Odyssey. But i guess they wanted to go with that middle eastern desert feeling
There is no progress anymore, 2017 is as good as today.
Origins is the best Assassin’s Creed game they ever made. It has a unique story and beautiful graphics. It has the best open world of all games. They have seriously to think about a new Egypt story as a sequel.
Bro which graphics card are you using
I’ve been playing mirage for 8hours now and honestly I prefer playing origins the only thing I can say mirage did better is how everything looks better
The chirping bird in Origins made it become unplayble once I noticed it.
As someone who only played Origins and has near 300 hours in it, would you recommend Mirage?
In my opinion, I would get the game on sale.
I haven’t put much time into mirage yet but origins is my favorite out of the most recent 3 and so far I’d recommend it, it has the most “origins” vibe out of all the recent ones. just keep your expectations low for the story of Basim compared to bayek.
The last assassins creed game i played was black flag. I have played all the other additions that was released before 2014.
The game that caught my eyes was origins. Though it would be better to play the games in order but still. Unity and syndicate didn't really intrigue me.
Origins looks much better! anyone who doesn't believe me go check the ratings or Origins then Mirage
Always look forward to the new Madden football every year…oh i mean Assassins Creed!
… oh i mean Call of duty!
You must be capping hard...I just played AC Origins on max settings and it looks waaaay better than the AC Origins shown in this video. Did you reduce the settings for this video?
Would I dislike Mirage if I didn't like Origins? I did like like a few things about that game, but I thought it was a bad "Assassin's Creed" game. I quit the series after Origins, but I am thinking about giving this Mirage a shot since it apparently has no RPG and is set in the Middle East.
The desert sand details and tracks in origin are gorgious, in mirage both are shocking bad. looks like winter and like skiing tracks. The water comparision was unfair at some points because the scenery was more beautiful in Mirage at some points, but the water in Origins looks also as good as in Mirage, cannot see any major difference.
ofc mirage graphically better but the overall beauty of the originals is still unmatched
I dont like walking effect on sand in Mirage 😐
Trypophpbia
Yea, it's like walking on snow
I always wonder in the games like this why would dev redo all the animations and stuff?
Why don't they use their own assets and focus on something more noticeable, such as new mechanics, new gameplay feautures, story, variety of weapons or something else
Because then the internet drama lords would say they reused assets. You literally can’t win with rage farming.
Finally with mirage the things went to where they should be, I still think the game should be back to Italy or something new like China or Japan, also the parkour and a lot of other details were much better in unity, they seem to go back and forward…
I like the colors in Mirage. It looks more realistic and natural 😝
SD textures on Mirage with no Mirage in the desert. Weird.
can't believe they ask full price for a dlc.
2:10 was amazing
The problem with mirage is the chromatic aberration..it works good with darker games but not with brighter games. I understand the effect there trying to get but it just doesn't work with this game..I mean most parts look a Lil better than origins but givin the time difference it should look alot better! Hell even unity is almost on-par!
Origins was so oversaturated in colour, oh my goodness. I think that’s why I see comments saying it looks a gazillions times better than the mirage one. Anyway, even the very first game ever released ac is still better than both unfortunately,
