I just mainly listen to them while driving and it's not distracting and makes trips go buy so much faster. We need to find a way to be able to play movies while driving... How can you view videos, i have loaded them on the USB and it is formatted to fat32 and now files are displaying. Is there a setting that need to be changed?
There is bypass that needs to be done to the ebrake so you can watch your videos in motion..just google in forums..but i know years ago..when i purchased a head unit from best buy...they did it for me..
Liking these civic feature vids as most buyers wouldn't get shown these features. Be good for a good the bad after a few more months since you had the car. Im trying to find someone that is used to cds and how not having one in a new car is liveable or not. Wife still loves the ease of cds
Simon L the ease of CDs? putting music on USB and plugging it into your car that will hold 10,000 songs is far easier then messing with CDs that hold 20 songs. you could put every album by every artist you listen to on a usb stick and not even half fill it.
Is there any way of using your Android phone to auto start a2017 Honda Civic hatchback? For some reason using my fob doesn't work all the time and the range is pretty poor. Like I can be maybe 25 yards from my car in my house and it won't start the car. I know the Honda app for one of the minivans has the ability to start the car from the app. Not sure why the hondalink app for the Civic is so broken and featureless. Doesn't even tell you tire pressure etc. It's kind of a useless app and keeps stopping. Also lose connection to Android auto all the time

I load videos for my niece and nephew (talespin, gravity falls, ducktales(1989) version sometimes movies, etc. They show in descending order which translates as recent videos first. So if I have 30 videos i have to scroll all the way to the right to find video 1 in order. Do you know of a way to change the way the videos are shown within a folder from flash drive?
Sigh... good tip but pointless, I either leave my motor on which drains gas just to watch a video or leave the battery on. Might as well bring a notebook and watch it on a bigger screen.

You can also use honda hack and add TH-cam, netflix and other ..or get a car play its easier

Keith Selles my center console also disconnected from android auto constantly. Got it replaced under warranty. It is somewhat better now

True. I had it plugged in right. Lots of faulty software behind that slick touch screen.

I think it would. Haven't tested it but yeah, my battery would probably not enjoy it.
