I like to think that Oliver, as the Spectre, deleted the “original timeline” when creating Earth-Prime. But in order to keep the arrowverse timeline intact he needed a version of Thawne to kill Barry’s mother, the fixed point that created the Arrowverse. So he created a version of Thawne that was near identical to the version of him in the “original timeline” and he plopped him in 2000, like he is shown here in 9x10. Thawne knowing what he wants to do, savors his moments before killing Barry’s parents while stalking them. Then he sees Barry and messes with him, letting him get one more day in with them. Barry, knowing what must be done, fights Thawne and does the same things he saw his original timeline counterpart do in s1. He then allows Thawne to kill his mother in anger and taunts him afterward. Then the crystal causes him to “vanish” leading Thawne to believe that he vanished from existence for “changing the timeline”. I hope this made sense :b.

I think it was obvious that Crisis reset the stage. That means the Thawne after Crisis will have different memories from the og Thawne that died in season 1. Even though they are technically the same. I guarantee you, now that our Barry has become the OG Flash he was able to stop the timeline from looping. As we all know, OG Flash disappears after Thawne kills Nora, then he decides to have the Particle Accelerator explosion happen in 2014 rather than 2020. Now in the post Crisis timeline, new Thawne already knows that Barry became Flash in 2014. He never explicitly mentioned it so that the narrative isn't complicated. Now when New Thawne kills Nora our Barry won't disappear because this was meant to happen. When Thawne realised that Nora's death is the fixed point in time. Nora's death has always been a fixed point after Crisis.

I think Oliver would have kept things as they are to not change anyone as this is a vital point in Barry's journey, as there are 5 different versions of him that pass through here
1) Kid Barry - saved by S9 Flash so he overall wouldn't be erased by Thawne, starts the loop of his life
2) Young Flash (S1) - Arrives ready to help but is told not to interfere by S9 Flash. Ultimately reveals himself when it is over to his mother as her son from the future. She isn't confused as she meet S9 Barry literally hours earlier and recognizes him instantly and everything made sense from the conversation with him earlier. His mother dies knowing they are ok. This would have no impact on the timelines
3) Flashpoint Flash - We can presume this still happens but the changes are very brief as this was a vital lesson for Barry to learn about fixed points. This Barry is erased here
4) S5 Barry - Is outside the house with Nora watching and explaining the night to her. She makes them run off before events unfold. At this point he knew not to interfere but wasn't ready to learn the lessons that his future self has
5) S9 Flash - The Flash Barry grows up to be, only shows up to save himself and in turn gets closure on the events, having learned all the lessons needed he knows Thawne has to kill his mom. He comes to gain closure and with closure, he in a way helps Thawne kill his mom so he can exist and moves on with his life.
I think you're the only Flash TH-camr who actually understands the timeline. Congrats.
It annoys me when people keep referring to the original timeline Flash because we've never seen that version of Barry. Even the one that shows up to fight Eobard Thawne on the night of his mother's death because that was always going to be season 9 version of Barry. One glaring action that that version did was stop season 1 Barry from interfering with Nora Allen's death which means that version lost his mother and it was now a fixed point of the timeline. It is as Barry says in that episode "you won, thawne" because the original timeline Flash was erased from existence the moment Reverse-Flash traveled back in time and killed Flash's mother. Original timeline Flash grew up with both of his parents, gained his powers in the year 2020, married Iris some time after without growing up with her, and has a daughter named Dawn and by extension a son who is her twin named Don and disappears after fighting Reverse-Flash and presumably the Anti-Monitor in Crisis in 2024 since none of those things actually happened he was erased from existence and replaced with our Barry Allen. Any discrepancy between season 9 version of events and season 1 is due to Crisis reworking the universe.
well and if u remember too changeing the "timeline" doesnt really change it it creates a new universe by extension as barry and cisco were able to peak into the flashpoint "timeline" ala dragonball and what trunks did , so that "og" barry is out there just not this universe , just my thoughts anyway

Barry was with his both parents alive and he became flash by accident then reverse flash shows up and goes to past to kill kid barry but future flash saved the kid then thawne killed his mom and tried to run away to the future but his speed was consumed and he couldnt get back so he killed original wells and took his place to make the accident earlier to get barry speed so he could get back to future and etc..?

But the thing is the younger flash season 9 Barry stopped isn’t the same as season 1 flash either because we actually see that after 2019 crisis 2014 Barry had already known how to throw lightning during his first fight with Hartley/Piper and ended up hitting his boyfriend. But our Barry learned to throw lightning in 2015 from Zoom
I always assumed that the Thawne from s2 who traveled to 2016 and eventually learned everything about Star labs and figured out who they were once team flash sent him back was this Thawne. It makes sense. Harry had already told Barry that Thawne was gonna find out his identity eventually. That’s why Barry didn’t even try to hide his identity. And since Thawne knew Barry knew who he was he didn’t try to hide his either. Plus it’s makes sense why he had so much intel on star labs after he got trapped in the past. It all lines up.
The OG Timeline starts in The Flash Season 7 ep 3, when Harrison Wells helps Barry Allen regain his powers from the Speed Force, this happens during the year 2020, that is why Eobard Thawne told Harrison Wells, "In the year 2020, you and...your wife Tess Morgan successfully launched a particle accelerator that changed the course of history." Then the end of the OG Timeline is The Flash Season 9 ep 10 & ep 11, when Barry Allen vanishes in front of Iris West-Allen, then The Flash & Reverse-Flash talk in the middle of the street on the night of March 18th 2000, before Reverse-Flash & The Flash continue the fight in the Allen House where The Flash saves Barry Allen & Reverse-Flash kills Nora Allen, then The Flash thanks and Forgives Reverse-Flash, also Iris West-Allen talks with Allegra about the April 25, 2024 Newspaper article, "Flash Missing Vanishes in Crisis"

Has both parents becomes the flash eobard is born he becomes rf and finds out barry is the flash they both fight and go back in time to kid barry. that flash saves him self but reverse flash kills his mom that flash goes back to future then the show plays out as we seen from season 1 till now
So basically rf and flash erased or replaced the original time line flash and that is why og flash goes missing in 2024 from what i can understand this is how it went right?

before reverse flash killed barry's mother barry lived a normal life as a normal human but when the real harrison wells launched the first particle accelerator barry became the flash in the year 2020 and in 2046 eobard wanted to be like the flash from 2020 but started to hate him over time because he couldnt be a hero so he went to the year 2000 to kill barry but 2020 barry went back with eobard to stop thawne from killing young barry but instead eobard killed barrys mother so that barry could still be the flash when eobard posed as harrison wells for 15 years in order to barry as the flash early and kill him while stealing his powers to get back the the year 2046

Everything is accurate except for the flashpoint event. After Thawne fixes Barry's mistake everything goes back to its original state and Flashpoint Thawne and S2 Barry never interfere or are present which is also why Black Flash was so adamant on erasing that version of Thawne. So the only ones who now show up during the nght is Season 1 and Season 9 Barry and Thawne from the OG timeline.
So from what I can understand from this mess:
Og Flash and Prof. Zoom traveled back in time for the first time to stop Zoom from killing baby flash
S1 flash is also there
Og Flash took a break from the fight to use the force mind trick on s1 Flash like "This ain't the time you're looking for."
Og Flash then disconnected from the server and let Zoom kill Flash Mom
s2 Flash then showed up to WWE tackled Zoom and created Flashtime
Another Zoom then shows up and erases both og zoom and s2 flash
That Zoom then kills flash mom and runs away but since the act of killing flash mom inadvertently removed Flash from existence and s9 Flash shows up to tell Zoom how much of a failure he really is then disconnects while refusing to elaborate further

i dont get it. after flash from seasom 2 knockoff reverse flash which drink bear with barry at episode start, appears Thawne from flashpoint and he remembers all events including helping Barry. So why at the end of episode he loses powers if he already new that would happen? or Thawne from flashpoint went to his timeline and Barry end it here and fights with reverce flash from original timeline? so if Barry from season 2 dont come here and knochdown RF which drinks bear at episode start, here could be 2 reverce flashes(one from original timeline and one from this)?
s2 barry that saves his mom got erased if u remember in that episode when flashpoint thawn comes in after barry saves his mom flash and thawn get erased and only flashpoint thawn is still there

I think because a speedster (Eobard) decided to time traveled to that night..the moment he did and entered that house created a different chain of events leading to the birth of OUR barry we follow from season 1 to 9. So once he kills nora, there's no, not killing her anymore since our barry relies on that one event in order to exist pretty much. [Just a theory, I guess lol]
My guess is that it's a combination all the time travel and that no matter what reverse flash can't just live a normal life.
Imagine if they make a more realistic version of the flash, one without this bs of time travel and moving at mach wtever, a flash whose maximum speed at 150-160 km/hr that would be the greatest flash show of all time
