Thanks you are so neat my double, l love clean neat cooking. I love the joy you give making simple whT l thought was a complicated cooking. Explain the double blending and letting air in the mix all l see before is people say blend but never explained the science of the mixing. Now after waiting for 40 year for someone to show me how to make this correctly without saying oh it easy. I will make this in the next few days. Thanks so much Kind regards Emmanuel - God is with us
Moi moi brings back memories of my childhood, going to grind beans every Saturday 😁.I normally used aluminum tins and steam, wud try ramekins now.. Thanks, good job

I am trying it today I love cooking and leaf and the leaf that I have is the green banana leaves so that is what I am going to be using thanks so much I am using as my pease black eyed pease
You are a great story teller with a soothing voice as well Just like my mom's..Your cooking skills are excellent...love the leaves method most cus it gives it a unique taste.
It's the Leaf Moimoi for me anytime 😁🤭 And I love the way you make cooking pretty simple, thank you🥰 I think the leaf is meant to be inside out tho or is it an old method
Lovely! I’m not a fan of garlic though and in my part of Nigeria, it is not traditionally used. Leaf method is my favourite as the leaves add to the flavor and give it that traditional feel. I have cooked moi moi in the oven since I saw it done this way in my Nigerian uni back in the day. They used some kind of oven and poured the batter into oven trays. Then, they cut lines horizontally and vertically, forming rectangles and served it that way. I like the oven method but don’t enjoy cleaning the oven afterwards! So, steaming in a pot is my favourite.
the bigest mistake you will make when making moimoi is adding too many spices other than the peppers, onions and a cube and fish....curry, ginger, garlic and all these other extra will kill the moimoi...
I followed your instructions and guess what? I got an award for cooking moi moi. My mum was impressed 😂🎉. Guys you can do it!! Make our wife no form for house.
Hi zeelicious, pls what's the name of the blender you used in blending the beans?I found it difficult getting a blender for beans.it actually looks like Kenwood,is it?
I've tried making moin moin with red lentils to avoid peeling soaked beans...not bad but not the same as with beans. When I steam, it gets a bit messy with some of the batter getting into the water. So I'll give your oven method a go. I've done it similar to your method, but didn't place the dish in a water bath. The result was the moin moin was not moist enough. Thank you!
I am Russian who lived 2 years in Nigeria and moimoi is my favorite nigerian dish! Love it
What was your mission in Nigeria? Spaying?

You can order from Adès online. They are an African/Caribbean groceries store in London.
You can get your leaves if you live in the south east.
