It really depends on your budget and what you want to do. Wailea is a very nice, upscale area so the hotels are a little pricey. Kihei has more affordable options and is still close to Wailea and the Western and Central part of the island.
@BevandRyan me and my family are going for 3-4 nights. So this includes my parents and spouse. Our budget is about 400-600 per night and our activities would need to be something not too physically intense. Looking just to relax, see some nice views/scenery. Any recommendations based on that? Also does the Waldorf hotel include any activities in their cost?
@msk362 unfortunately, Waldorf does not really include much activities in the cost. You can try the AC Hotel by Marriott Maui Wailea. The prices can vary greatly with the dates you are going though.
