    That was a fun ride. The time lapse portion of the ride reminded me of being on a roller coaster. When the train changed tracks at that speed it was very cool. Great snow, farms, mountains, lovely homes and smaller towns. Thanks for showing me a part of this great world that I will never see in reality.

    The accelerated video is great. Like our life. We are rushing somewhere, now to the left, now to the right. Perhaps the most important thing remains even unnoticed. What lies ahead is unknown, and no one knows where our last station is ...
    Ускоренное видео отличное. Как наша жизнь. Мы куда-то несемся, то налево, то направо. Пожалуй, самое главное остается даже незамеченным. Что нас ждет впереди - неизвестно, и никто не знает, где наша последняя станция ...

    I liked your channel a lot, especially the sections of the routes in the mountains. A very good supplement to your films is a map with the route and descriptions of the objects you pass by. Timelapse on the one hand is an interesting solution, but I prefer the traditional mode in which you shoot. When it comes to music, when traveling by train I like to listen to eg Pat Metheny, but I write it from the passenger's point of view. When thanks to you I become a virtual train driver, I don't need any music anymore, because what I see in front of me and typical railway sounds are enough for me. Best wishes :)

    An an engineer (Lokfuhrer) in the United States, I love your videos. On the BLS, how far south do Swiss crews operate? It seems they all change at Brig, but do they operate through the Simplon to Domodossola too? Or do Italian FS crews operate north to Brig?

    • @lorirocks777
      @lorirocks777  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nice to meet you. The official border station is Domodossola, so Swiss drivers drive there. BLS has a driver from Weil to Spiez and the second driver from Spiez to Domo. SBB's German drivers drive to Muttenz, then the first driver drives to Brig and the second to Domo.
      If you're interested in sharing any of your routes on this channel, let me know. It would be a nice contrast to Europe.

    Though this is not the first LBT ride I've seen, it's the first one that uses available light and makes that work - well done! As such, we get a good view of the feeder tunnel from the Sion direction - will that be used in the end, when they finish the construction? We also see how much darker this route is, compared to the GBT - does it have the same level of emergency access provision? The musical section at the end was well edited, the sync between the tune and the passing train at Aarburg-Oftringen was a neat touch. All in all, a worthy addition to the library you are building up, thank you very much \m/

    Thanks again for sharing your video to the TH-cam Community. Winter time is my favorite time to visit this most spectacular country.
    Just a suggestion when going thru extended long, tunnels, a higher speed in the tunnel in the post production would be appropriate. Just my humble opinion...Love the scenery, but not the tunnel darkness.
    Otherwise, keep up the excellent work and will be patiently awaiting for your next presentation.

    I actually prefer the Base Tunnel over the mountain line. Because the Base tunnel is a highspeed line. And even though the mountain line is more beautiful, the base tunnel is more interesting. Because highspeed lines need so much more effort to be built than normal tracks. One tiny building mistake on a highspeed line can be fatal..
