- The final leg of our cross country road trip from Florida. This is the end. We are tired and quite frankly over it. When the dips hit THEY HIT. It seemed like a snowball effect (pun intended). All in all it was a great road trip and we'll cherish the memories we made forever but camping in a teardrop camper is TOUGH in the snow. When you are describing the bathroom situation, you are perfectly describing what is like for a disabled person when someone is in the handicapped stall!
These are great little campers but with a more specific purpose. I personally went with the tab 320 , for only about 500 more lbs you have a camper you can stand up In, comfortable seating area, and most of all a full bathroom! Just recently did my first winter camping trip and was super comfortable. While I did not have running water I could still use the cassette toilet. For a couple I would totally recommend the 320 over the tag.

We have live 2 years full time in our @Camp_Liberty and been -12 degrees below with 2ft of snow. Our Camp truly is the only 4 season camp!

Pretty crazy storm! We are starting to camp a lot more and love watching camping in these conditions but have not done it, lol.

Hmm guys if these are your only problems then you want to be thanking god! The're actual real problems people have and a Taylor swift hoody is not a problem is it? Not being able to have kids is a problem, having cancer is a problem, being disabled is a problem, loosing someone you love is a problem, loosing your house is a problem, loosing your child is a problem... don't sweat the small stuff just enjoy and feel blessed your having a great adventure!
Oh definitely not comparing our lives with anyone else! Those are terrible problems and we are so grateful for the life we have. Just sharing our experiences as they unfold. Thanks for watching!

Us too! Definitely had to go out a few times with the snow brush to keep the snow from piling up! Made a world of difference getting in and out of the teardrop.

I live in a hardfloor camper which is just a tent on wheels, it is 22oz canvas, and very waterproof, and I do it all thru winter, snow rain hail, you name it, maybe I have more room then you guys, and I can cook, and use the toilet inside, if I am overnighting somewhere, but I have a Darche framed toilet tent, that I normally set up. I also spend up to 3 months each winter in a 2 man wild weather 3 season tent , and use my bike as transport ( bicycle) and have my dog with me always. He travels in a dog trailer , that I have winterised Ie; much warmer for him. You guys have it much easier then I do, but seem to in this vid, to be whining about how hard you have it. You guys in the set you had at the time of this vid, had it easy.

What if you "microwave" quit?? What if no electricity? Any backup plans in place? Jet boil to boil water, dehydrated food? Propane backup heater system? Wow, you're lucky you got through...
We had generators Incase we lost electricity, extra propane for the furnace and lots and lots of blankets! Haha we stocked up on groceries and water that would last us a few days that didn’t need to be cooked. Definitely glad we made it out with no issues!

Why on earth would you do 1 night stays ? That is missing the point of a simpler life isn't it? I don't understand at all.
