Whatever Happened to NBA TV'S 'The Starters'?

Bloopers have always been a part of basketball. But it wasn’t until the release of the NBA’S 1989 direct-to-video release ‘Dazzling Dunks and Basketball Bloopers’ that in-game fails became almost as popular as spectacular highlights.
However, despite the popularity of the lighter side of the game of basketball, it wouldn’t been until the early 2010s that the NBA would produce a regular program that revolved around celebrating the lighter side of the league with ‘The Starter’. The show covered the game from a fan’s perspective and soon established a cult following. Then… it seemed to just disappear, leaving a significant hole in the basketball world.
