The only issue with this is that the Spring Bonnie suit wasn't tattered and decrepit when William put it on, it only came to be that way after decades of being shoved into a sealed-up room (not to mention with a dead rotting person inside).
And probably him breaking it and damaging it, either by trying to tear it off, or maybe him banging his head against the wall because the children won’t stop tormenting him or whatever the hell he did. And age as well would play a significant factor as well.

I think the plan was Michael was to go look for William should he not be back for a certain amount of days, that is until Michael finds Williams audio cassette saying he hated and still hates Michael for what he did to his younger brother, and practically admits to committing murder on children because he couldn't murder Michael. After that, Michael left William to rot in his own prison while he tried to set the wrong things right.
I had a feeling that scream at the beginning was very similar to the scream I heard in a finale video. And I do believe it is the same one. No complaints here. That scream on its own is spine-chilling.

After 30 years where the 3rd game takes place the reason he is able to talk is not because of the inaccurate writing and anatomy for William. It is because when he came back (for the first out of god knows how many times) He wasn’t talking through his vocal cords. People say William cheated death. He didn’t, you see when William re awoke he was no longer talking through his vocal cords. He was talking through the suit. William was never alive after that, he did die. You can tell by the way William moves and walks. He walks like a animatronic and people would just think the body inside is fake since the building after all was a horror attraction. If William truly did cheat death, he wouldn’t be walking around like an animatronic, he would be shaking and screaming after every smidge of movement he made because he would still be able to feel pain since he was in his human form still. His corpse is the only sentient thing left inside that suit. His soul left his human form and immediately went into the suit. It took awhile for him to wake back up since the suit was so badly damaged the system took forever to reboot itself. That’s why when he jump-scares you in the game you hear the animatronic scream which is messed up because of the damaged suit. And in the game audios his voice is all raspy and sometimes robotic and glitchy. His soul took over the suit when he died. The eyes in the suit aren’t Williams. They are spring bonnies. When the spring locks triggered. Spring Bonnie’s eyes flipped back around to the front for animatronic mode. Disconnecting Williams eyes straight from his sockets by the medal rods tearing them apart. Same goes for the rest of his body. Now the reason he has barely any flesh yet is because it has been 30 years and obviously after something organic or has life in it dies, it rots until there is nothing left. The reason Williams legs barely have any flesh is because the air is able to get to it because it is not blocked or covered by anything making it rot. Now Williams head and torso is different because there is not much air circulation getting to his flesh to have the ability of decomposition. The reason why though that parts of Williams head and toros are missing is because you can vividly see the gaps and tears between the suits fabric. That is the only air circulation that can reach Williams corpse causing it to rot. Sorry if I just made you puke over and over or feel sick or lose your appetite, but uhh that’s basically Williams anatomy after the springlock incident.

Is torn away from age, at time he was springlocked suit was very old, I think moved 2 locations before used, so suit just naturally rots away

If William truly did cheat death, he wouldn’t be walking around like an animatronic, he would be shaking and screaming after every smidge of movement he made because he would still be able to feel pain since he was in his human form still. His corpse is the only sentient thing left inside that suit. His soul left his human form and immediately went into the suit. It took awhile for him to wake back up since the suit was so badly damaged the system took forever to reboot itself. That’s why when he jump-scares you in the game you hear the animatronic scream which is messed up because of the damaged suit. And in the game audios his voice is all raspy and sometimes robotic and glitchy. His soul took over the suit when he died. The eyes in the suit aren’t Williams. They are spring bonnies. When the spring locks triggered. Spring Bonnie’s eyes flipped back around to the front for animatronic mode. Disconnecting Williams eyes straight from his sockets by the medal rods tearing them apart. Same goes for the rest of his body. Now the reason he has barely any flesh yet is because it has been 30 years and obviously after something organic or has life in it dies, it rots until there is nothing left. The reason Williams legs barely have any flesh is because the air is able to get to it because it is not blocked or covered by anything making it rot. Now Williams head and torso is different because there is not much air circulation getting to his flesh to have the ability of decomposition. The reason why though that parts of Williams head and toros are missing is because you can vividly see the gaps and tears between the suits fabric. That is the only air circulation that can reach Williams corpse causing it to rot. Sorry if I just made you puke over and over or feel sick or lose your appetite, but uhh that’s basically Williams anatomy after the springlock incident.
