//SPOILERS, dont read this before seeing the video . . . . . disclaimer: william is absolutely definitely dead. for good. the only reason he's not listed in the final scene is because 1. he's in hell, and 2. he doesnt deserve it. the "i always come back" gimmick canon william has does not apply to this series
I laugh my ass off at the "MICHEAL! DONT LEAVE ME HERE!" bit because the VA put his phone in a washing machine and was outside of the machine screaming his lines and banging on the door.
It’s actually kinda neat how Squimpus put together the timeline of events William died and inhabited Springtrap while the restaurant in FNAF1 was STILL OPEN, and Fazbear’s Fright opened 15 years later instead of 30, which imo makes more sense
Fazbears Fright opening 15 years later may make more sense, but isnt the actual lore. Im not sure if it was the goal to represent the actual game lore but in the real game story, Fazbears Fright opened 30 years after FFP3 (FNaF1) closed down. Scott said that on FNaF3's Steam website I think. And I dont think the FNaF1 location was open after he died. He probably just imagined stuff. I mean, you might get crazy if you are stuck in a room for so long.
@@identitymatrix This is a separate canon/fanmade material so it doesn't really matter if the opening of fazbear fright is 15 or 30 yrs or even if most of it as accurate at all it doesn't really matter since its an au.
@@identitymatrix In this lore I really do believe that William became Springtrap while fnaf 1 location was still opened, cuz if you look to the security guard tutorial video, it actually shows William desesperated to see his son since he knew that he was going to work at that location, which means that the location was still opened. However in the original fnaf 3 game, William dies after the location closed.
Can you imagine, a tall disgusting hunk of metal and blood in a animatronic suit from the 80s crawling out of a vent in an abandoned facility, and he hits you with *”Hello.”*
I love the fact that this feels so real and makes William seem like a human being instead of just some random killer. I also think the fact that he sounds like he is about to vomit is a great touch. It's like you can feel his pain and agony.
@@Pluvillion EXACTLY. But giving him these human emotions makes him that much more interesting as a character. He’s cold, manipulative, sadistic and tries to hide it with sympathy and remorse
theres something perfect about the serenity at the end. michael lived almost two thirds of his life dedicated to finding his father, and finishing what he started. after 25 years of him searching for the conclusion, his father, he did it. he put the pieces back together. and everyone got their rest. its the perfect iteration of the fnaf lore in my opinion, taking the "original chapters" and using the lore we got from sister location and onward to make, in my opinion, the perfect ending to a tale such as fnaf
He says in the training video he only wants to see his boy and be let out of there, whether that’s him lying or being honest is up to interpretation I guess.
It makes my neck do that thing that only these videos bring. Like that “I see you” along with ‘trap staring directly into your soul, bruh, I actually covered the screen with my hand, cuz I felt like it was actually looking at ME, not just Michael. I was filled with this feeling of imminent danger, like mans was boutta head out of the screen and rip out my spleen, you feel me?
The creators terrible actions aside, this video is a masterpiece. Michaels voice acting especially. His desperate shrieks for Michael to get him out of his hell, and his haunting screams as he is burned alive and cast to hell where he belongs, along with the visuals of his mangled face, a horrific far cry from the once normal looking man, while everything burns around him, its chilling, and it's magnificent. 5:57 and onwards gave me chills, a genuine masterpiece of editing and sound design. And the end, a simple, poignant tribute to the lives lost and ruined due to Williams horrific actions. anyways, fuck scrimpus mcgrimpus lol, how hard is it to not groom kids
I love how there is almost no sign of the William afton of memories,he is not anymore the smart, cold and calm killer he used to be. he is defeated, weak, and has completely losed his humanity
In this canon William is truly a wicked person. He berated his mourning child and wanted to kill him, he killed many kids and thought that it was completely justified, and as a rotting corpse in a suit, wanted to kill his child AGAIN for his own selfish reasons.
Oh boy, I sure hope that the creator of this video turns out to be a great person, and that these videos that I've treasured for so long don't become horrible in retrospect.
Only just discovered the VHS tapes, and wow, I love this interpretation of Afton. "They have your mask, Michael. The fox. I hate looking at it, it makes me feel so alive!" The strange implication that he enjoys the feeling of hatred makes his mindset so alien. What a disturbing villain.
i imagine he says that because being trapped in that room for 15 years was akin to being stuck in a sensory deprivation tank, no stimulus, no outside interaction, hell probably no lights. feeling *any* emotion would be orgasmic after that
Absolutely. In the actual canon they made him somewhat sympathetic, but a part of me simultaneously loves and *loathes* this interpretation of Afton, and I love it and loathe it for the exact same reasons. He's just an absolute monster.
4:18 not to mention just how excited he got over being able to see simple objects. Like wow. I agree with the others, just takes whatever insanity he had before and left him with nothing to do but grow it. Let it feed off his emotions and hate until...he became this.
I love how 2:41 has turned from a desperate psychotic man asking his son for help, the person who he most hates, to a cockroach stuck in an iphone box, a cat being kissed by raiden shogun and yae miko cosplayers...
SAME LMAO like the first time i saw this that bit gave me the craziest chills, but now i can’t help but picture a bonnie plush tied to a ceiling fan that is gradually spinning faster and faster 😂
I like this version of William, almost a complete monster but he still loved his youngest son. It makes him feel more like a real person instead of just a killing machine. The decline of his mental well being makes it so much more real. It does not excuse his actions though, but it feels genuine and makes it all the more frightening because of how human it is.
@@lilbard3100 especially in father.mp4. Despite that not having any words, it’s freaking scary and sad seeing just how decayed and horrible William’s mental health is. He was in that room for years upon years, with nothing to do but think about what he’d done. I hate him, I do, he’s an awful, psychopathic child killer who ruined the lives of those kids’ parents, but he had a...somewhat understandable motive, despite how twisted it was. It’s realistic. It’s scary.
I’m barely even a few seconds in and I’m AMAZED with the voice acting for William in the springsuit. He really sounds like he’s struggling to breathe and speak, like it’s someone actually suffocating! And the franticness of his voice when he screams for Michael! This is how I think Springtrap would sound with the rasp in his voice. And the screams when he burns to death I PHYSICALLY CAN’T! You’ve outdone yourself Squimpus! This fandom has really matured since the early days of 2014-15. Truly amazing.
In addition to this, it’s quite unsettling how he sounds once he gets out. He sounds like an excited child while talking about tearing his son to pieces. Truly a horrifying villain.
2 years later, this is still absolutely perfect. Theniftytable, I believe, is peak perfection as the voice of Springtrap. The grunge and gargle in his voice, mixed with the deep, menacing tone is treating, malicious, spin chilling, and all around is just perfect. It’s a shame he doesn’t do the voice much, I would definitely have look to here it more!

here's an audio transcript for the spoken lines, for anyone who's interested! MARCH 24, 1993: (while harshly wheezing/choking) I’m trapped. The locks went off while I was wearing it. Somehow I thought that thing would protect me… After all, I’m not good with thinking on my feet. Now I'm awake. My heart stopped beating, and they put the boards back up, so there goes my only way out. Either way, it hurts too much for me to get up. I guess it works the same for me as it did for them. I die, and end up as one of these. I just wish I knew about that part earlier. I don't know how long I'm gonna be in here. MARCH 29, 1993: (while wheezing/choking) They’re still alive. I can hear them moving around outside-- someone must have put them back together. I thought this place was closed down and looked dirty [indistinguishable]. And they probably think I’m still dead. Or they just hate me that much. They really are just like him. (wheezes) They deserved it. It shows. JULY 20, 1993: (while wheezing) I bet they're wondering why they’re not up in heaven right now. They got me, so… Why aren't they dancing up there with all the angels? (grunts) We’re not going anywhere-- He doesn’t care, God doesn’t care about justice, or what’s right or wrong. God just likes to watch interesting things happen. I would know, I would know… I hope He’s treating you better than me, Joseph. NOVEMBER 12, 1993: (screaming, coughing) Michael, don’t leave me here! Michael! Michael! (loud pounding) Help me!-- [cuts off] NOVEMBER 13, 1993: (while wheezing) How could you do that to your own father? I hate you! I’ve always hated you! I’m going to kill you, and I’m going to make it hurt. Oh, how I miss the way you used to cry when I screamed at you. It’s going to get so much worse. I’m going to get out. And I’m going to find you. And I’ll give you a real reason to cry. JUNE 5, 2002: (muttering) [indistinguishable] -- just go without me and leave me rotting in a room for God knows how long. It could be a month or a year, I don’t know, I’ve lost track of time, I can’t… I don’t… I’m alone. Damn you. Goddamn all of you t--! [cuts off] OCTOBER 6, 2008: (while wheezing) I got out! (laughs) I got out, I got out! I don't know where they took me, but it’s somewhere new. So much more room to breathe. There’re so many things in here… I remember every single one of them. They have your mask, Michael. The fox. (laughs) I hate looking at it, it makes me feel so alive. Come on, Michael, come visit me. I know you’ll do it-- she’ll make you do it. I’ll give you the warmest welcome you can imagine. OCTOBER 14, 2008: I SEE YOU.
This is honestly the best voice acting ive ever heard. Its a deeply dangerous man, trapped in a room, in a suit that is killing him, but keeping him alive at the same time, with nobody to rant to but himself, for 15 years. Its the most perfect portrayal of this version of William.
5:56 A tiny detail I noticed. Just after William says hello, the room gets ever so slightly brighter and you hear the gasoline lighting for a split second.
I love how he acknowledges just how stupid it was of him to wear the thing, and the idea of making him not so good at making decisions in really stressful situations is not only a genius way to answer why but it is something Toatly inline with his character imo.
He starts off choking and sputtering and constantly sounding like he can’t talk, but as it goes it seems he gets more used to talking but becomes raspier as his voice box rusts away (since he’s dead the only way he could talk is with Springbonnies voice box)
@@michaelzhang7098 I don't think it's spring Bonnie's voice box he's using. His choking and sputtering seems to be from his injuries. I think his soul is talking through his body somehow. If he was using spring Bonnie's voice box he wouldn't choke or anything. It'd also be more mechanical sounding seeing as when we do hear the souls use a recording it always sounds like that recording. His voice wouldn't sound like and aging old man who's been severely injured, he'd sound like an old damaged recording of someone's voice which, he doesn't.
The genuine anger and rage when he’s screaming Micheals name is absolutely fantastic. The voice acting in this is just amazing. Quite literally the best fan made FNAF project
I will *never* forget the criminal face, the sounds of those screams *or the unrelenting amount of realism you gave William.* Honest to god, his constant justification for his disgusting actions, the blatant favoritism, the fact you made him sound so confident in what he did despite just playing it off as nothing, you gave him all of the traits of a textbook overt narcissist. The absolute perfect kind of mindfucky villain. Majorest of props to you, my friend.
The progression from his narcissistic behavior to more psychopathic behavior and destruction of his mental health is really disturbing as well. It disturbs me especially because there is a family member of mine that talks somewhat like William here. Let's just say this individual talked some pretty disturbing things that he would do to a 6 year old kid. And that we are planning on putting a restraining order on him to stay away from me and my younger sisters.
4:28 "They have your mask Michael, the Fox. I hate looking at it. It makes me feel so alive." I've commented this at some point but that's such a fucking haunting line that only someone in Springtrap's position could ever utter. Terrifyingly beautiful writing.
a commonly overlooked detail that really gets me is how in the june 2002 recording, he says "go without me and leave me rotting in a room for god knows how long. could be a month or a year, i don't know, i've lost track of time". the first recording is from march 1993. it's been over nine years at that point. it's very hard-hitting to think that his greatest exaggerated estimate of the time that's passed is only 1 year, as opposed to the near-decade that actually passed. he really has no concept of any sort of reality in that room.
What really gets me Squimpus is how you make William a villain I generally want to hate. Here’s the thing, I’m a fan of villains as much as if not more than the heroes. I like Frieza, Megatron, Jafar, etc. despite the fact they are legitimately horrible people. It’s just fun watching them go at it. William however is not only terrifying but legitimately disgusting to watch. He truly believes that he doesn’t deserve what was coming to him, he truly believes that he’s the hero of this story. Even if he knows what he’s doing is wrong, he still believes that Micheal and the other kids deserve to suffer more than him. Now judging by Bonnie’s emotional outburst in Security Footage, Lucas wasn’t such a nice kid. Implications being some of the other kids weren’t either. However his crying outburst shows that he does regret being such a bad kid. William doesn’t regret anything he did and continues to blame Micheal for everything that’s happened. Years and years later he’s gone insane while maintaining the thought that Micheal and the children deserve to suffer more than him. He says God doesn’t care about justice when he killed children, that’s not just hypocrisy, that’s absolute delusion. He legitimately believes him killing children was right and justified and what happened to him is wrong. He doesn’t even regret his actions despite rotting for years in the Springtrap suit for it. He deserves every bit of suffering for believing that and it honestly makes my stomach squeeze at how disturbing that is. It’s all because of how good the execution was, you made William a good villain instead of a likable villain. Now I could be off about all this but honestly I’d be fine with that, this was a hell of a show you put up and I’m happy I found it again. I’ll be looking forward to whatever you do next my friend. Thank you
This. You can have a great set of protragonists and support characters but without a good main villain, a GOOD opposing force to drive the conflict the story is doomed to fail.
This is true definition. And William in the end gets the ultimate "fuck you" prize. Now forced to suffer in hell and in his spring trap body, suffering some more.
Michael: I feel like I’m forgetting something. Souls: If you forgot, then it probably wasn’t important. Michael: You are probably right. The Something: 2:40
If you change the names for example. Kidnapper: I feel like I forgot something. Kidnapper 2: If you forgot then it wasn’t important. Kidnapper: You’re right. The something: 2:40
My favorite part is definitely 2:41. The way he screams, I can hear his desperation. The man he has hated on over and over again. The boy that he blames the death of his son for. He is the one that he calls out to when he is left to rot. The power and desperation behind his voice is amazing, and then his last scream is cut off. Then in the very next tape, the very next day, he shows his hatred for Michael again. Truly amazing. Love this video
"Although for one of you, the darkest pit of hell has opened to swallow you whole, so don’t keep the devil waiting, old friend.” Such a bittersweet ending for a fantastic series.
The way he just says "Hello?" as though he's still surprised to see someone else there, reaaally adds a human touch to his character that makes this even more disturbing.
He probably did that to try and not startle Michael and try to make him feel welcome just to trick him instantly rip his throat out. This story could've gone a completely different way if Michael gave in.
William: *Constantly abuses Michael his entire life, treats him like a failure, and admits that he wants to kill him on a tape* Michael: *Doesn't save William* William: It's treason, then.
This aint cannon but in the actuall story he loved all his kids 2 kids got killed by animatronics and his wife left he went crazy started experimenting with remedy even MORE killing even more kids and micheal went back decades later to save him and set his soul free
The end almost brought me to tears because seeing all the names of the children who were killed followed by soothing music marking the end of their cruel torture by William was very well done.
Even tho I really love the Pizzeria Simulator ending, it's awesome how your "take" on the story ends in FNAF 3. It makes so much sense and it's so conclusive. Great job.
16 years.. trapped in a room, breathing but heart still, stuck in a suit of your own creation, unable to move. My god. He may deserve the worst punishment avaliable but that... that would make anyone go insane
As it should, but I think it’s disturbingly fitting. If anything, he should’ve rotted longer. Maybe even be forced to go in front of a crowd and sing or dance with your body rotting inside. To get just a taste of what those kids had to go through. After all, they suffered much longer and if anything, more painfully. They were just children, bodies hidden inside the animatronics they use to love and are forced to stay with them as they’re slowly forgotten about. You watch for thirty miserable years as everyone moves on, covers up your murder, and are forced to cater to living unknowing kids. Kids who are alive and ignorantly oblivious, just as you were. That- that’s insane.
"I hate looking at it. It makes me feel so alive." What an insane, fucking underrated line. Wow. That is only a feeling someone in his position could feel.
7:02 Seeing that Joseph finally forgave Michael especially after his I don't love you monolouge in Company PSA is so satisfying and probably the perfect ending to this series.
@@megalosaurusstudios2 I think Joseph saw that Michael went out of his way to kill William along with himself proving that Michael really did care about him.
@@davidcristiantache118 Just a victim complex along with yanno, being actually insane. It's probably a lot easier to blame the children you killed rather than yourself.
as they said before, "Separate the art from the artist" may this video thrive and inspire, and it's creator die and wither a painful and excruciating death
When William says "I would know" after saying how God only cares about seeing interesting things happen, such a great line, so clearly shows how William views himself as a god. Inflicting suffering and pain on weaker people made him feel powerful and fueled his sociopathic god complex
@@lukiicookie6569 Agreed, I think William was likely originally an atheist but then upon seeing this whole mess with spirits and hauntings has made him turn almost into a sort of nihilistic believer. He believes in the mechanical aspects of afterlives and spirits but lacks the spiritual belief in a benevolent deity
he doesn’t have a god complex, matter of fact, william didn’t actually kill to fuel anything inside him. he killed for remnant and scientific breakthroughs to discover immortality and bring the dead back to life.
The thing that terrify's me is how he survived. He escaped death again, once after being springlocked and stuck in a suit for so long, with almost no contact for years upon years, and then survived again after being incredibly burnt by his own son. But he didn't die. He came back. Then after that, for another good long amount of time, he found the place where Henry lured him to kill him. Michael sacrificed himself to end William, Baby, Molten Freddy, and Lefty with the Puppet trapped inside it's animatronic suit. He burnt the place down. Ending William and releasing the spirits of most people for good. But he wasn't spared yet. The child possessing Fredbear had begun torturing him with going against his own creations, nightmares, the funtimes, everything. He was stuck. At least his spirit was. But not his legacy. *He always comes back.* Him symbolically coming back into the physical world as Glitchtrap, and the fact Vanny is like William reincarnated in a way is sorta terrifying. He's stuck in hell, rotting away in pain and torture by being killed over and over again by his own creations he forged and made. But either one way or another, he's always been able to *come back.* Edit 1: Wow eight hours after I post this and it's at 400+ likes??? Thanks guys! Edit 2: 600+ likes. Thanks everyone.
True, but in my opinion that's why this version of the story is better, the story ends when it has to end. William here is not an immortal demigod, a mad scientist who can bulid literally anything nor a pure evil master of a magical zombie cult, he is just a flawed, sochiopathic human being who most likely had abusive parents, his wife died, his son killed his favorite child ( which shows how abusive he is, he only loves Joseph and give no shit about his other child/children ) and his friend has ( had.. ) better life than him. But unlike Michael he lets out his rage on the others instead of forgiving and forgeting it. He is smart but cruel and irredeemable. He is a monster as a character, but an amazing villain. He isn't scary becuse he almost boringly, repeatedly always come back, he is scary becuse he leaves scars on you and even after his "death" by the fire he wins. One death is enought for him to turn your life into a circle of disasters, may he didn't won the fight but he won the war.
@@redpanda6497 You make a great point. That's something I really like about this look at the story of FNAF. It's a look at the story in a different light, showing what could've happened, like William dying for good after the fire instead of surviving.
well yes of course he survived, since he is physically not alive. his body is stuck in that animatronic but his soul will never be extinguished, no ones soul. you got a major point but i think it was pretty clear that he would survive.
What? Micheal was the one in ultimate custom night. I always thought it was William. I mean they say the one you shouldn’t have killed just screams William
I hate the "I see you" part. Images like that scare me the most, and there's no talking just the image and nothing else. It's like the image could actually see you.
It is acceptable, a very slim chance but the choices afterwards can be so severe that it must be acceptable He admitted he did it, and regretted it. He went down the wrong path and doesnt like it not from the reaction, but because of regretting the decision he did. Yknow how much it takes to confess then just let the reputation say all? He even went out of his way to tell everyone to support the person he groomed, as an apology.
@@therandomnessfacility9948 he can apologize all he wants. The fact remains. He did it, despite knowing full well it was wrong. There is no redemption after that.
I just fucking love the fact you can hear his voice change through out the video. Like he’s aging or loosing his sanity. Like at 0:05 he sounds like a normal person with sane thoughts like how he was confused when the children he murdered where living through the suits and then 4:11 you can hear that he’s somewhat aged. And he’s definitely 100% lost his mind. Like when he says, “come Michael, come visit me. I’ll give you the warmest welcome you can imagine.” It’s perfect. I wouldn’t change this video a bit.

they made battington stop making his amazing remakes then decided to show the internet how awful of a person they really are, squimpus doesn't even deserve to be associated with this masterpiece of horror
William Afton is absolutely the most terrifying being in the whole fnaf universe, the game doesn't do enough justice to him, these tapes show the maniacal psychopath he is
One thing that makes me like this William Afton more than the canon one is that, unlike the former, this one feels like an actual human. A crazed and deprived human, yes, but a human no less. Though William despises Michael with every fiber of his being, it seems like he truly did care for Joseph, in his own sick and twisted way. But Squimpus doesn’t try to make this an excuse for his behavior, as we are also constantly reminded of the fact that this man took the lives of several innocent children. Somehow, Squimpus, you managed to keep the original feel that the Purple Guy had back in the FNAF 2 & 3 days, and expound upon it further in an interesting and compelling way. And for this, I applaud you.
I agree. William Afton from Sister Location onward feels like an edgier version of a generic cartoon mad scientist, complete with an evil British accent (this, despite the series being set in Utah, or somewhere in the US at any rate). This version of Afton feels like how an actual serial killer would sound.
Santino King Santino King To each his own, I suppose. But I prefer the original Afton we were introduced to, as well as this revamped one. A twisted man who slaughtered several children all because he couldn’t end the life of the one he hated the most - his own son.
Hank J. Wimbleton Yeah, I never really understood why Scott went with the British accent. This William sounds like a normal guy, like somebody you could know. And that’s what makes him terrifying.
Could you imagine playing FNAF 3 knowing this context from the very beginning? You, a neglected child whose dad treated him worse than dirt, now 39, carrying a world of guilt after killing your brother more than 20 years ago, about to have a final showdown against the one who made yours, and many other children's lives a living hell. This time however, it's different, you are no longer a vulnerable child, this time, *he pays for his sins.*
Rocket Fire LIT that’s one way to put it but unlike a normal parent afton didn’t even try to shape his son better after Joseph and the tormenting so it’s a bit of both
... But it doesn't stick. Remember, Afton made it out: He survived, possibly for years after FNAF3. It's implied he even survived Henry's trap. And even after all that, he has an electronic wraith, to carry on his torch.
You’re the first person I’ve seen who can make William look legitimately evil, you truly understand what it takes to get the audience to hate a character.
And I love how with each tape his sanity kinda just goes down the drain especially after Micheal leaves him…eh he didn’t have much of sanity to begin with I guess after the death of his favored son.
this video wasn't as necessarily scary as the other videos, but i don't think it needed to be. Squimp's version of the story, their canon , is wrapped up well in this video. it's mostly story driven and is actually really quite emotional with a hint of disturbing. the imagery of william afton burning was the only thing that was kind of shocking about this video but i think it was a necessary inclusion. all the pain and emotion and hatred throughout the voice acting and the distortion of the face, as well as the screams, paint a true picture of horror and agony. i am shaken to my core. i really really enjoyed this series, thank you squimp!!
I feel like it should have ended at FNAF 4, and had alternate timelines (like they did now) which gave us hints about other stuff, it’s just 5e main timeline is currently so confusing and long that it’s just become a mess of lore, games and Easter eggs.
It’s so gruesome to hear him take a breath after talking. You can hear him swallowing the blood rising up in his throat, the blood in his lungs, the struggle simply to BREATHE because of those spring locks.
this whole thing has such a raw and unscripted feel to it. like a real man just died and is spending his time in purgatory ranting to himself trying to justify his own malice. i dont know if its the writing or the voice acting or both but everything has such a disgusting, feral yet beautiful vibe to it.
2:21 I know right. This whole interaction just feels so surreal yet real at the same time. I can’t describe it but it actually feels like a dying old man ranting about the failures of others around him. That’s exactly what William is, and the fact that you can visualize it so well with chilling pronounciations, just reinforces its greatness.
Honestly the best way to end this series off. Good luck on your future projects, Squimpus 2023 edit: I saw what happened, I guess this comment backfired huh?
This was absolutely the best fan creation ever. Not just this video, the whole series. You put something together that has saddened, surprised, disturbed, and satisfied me. This was a long ride and it was worth the wait. Godspeed McGrimpus, and thanks for the content.

William died and inhabited Springtrap while the restaurant in FNAF1 was STILL OPEN, and Fazbear’s Fright opened 15 years later instead of 30, which imo makes more sense
@@identitymatrix Before he died it was abandoned and leaking.
@@identitymatrix This is a separate canon/fanmade material so it doesn't really matter if the opening of fazbear fright is 15 or 30 yrs or even if most of it as accurate at all it doesn't really matter since its an au.

16 years.. trapped in a room, breathing but heart still, stuck in a suit of your own creation, unable to move.

When William says "I would know" after saying how God only cares about seeing interesting things happen, such a great line, so clearly shows how William views himself as a god. Inflicting suffering and pain on weaker people made him feel powerful and fueled his sociopathic god complex
Or maybe he was saying that because maybe nothing or nobody stopped Joseph's death
You could see from both ways actually
@@lukiicookie6569 Agreed, I think William was likely originally an atheist but then upon seeing this whole mess with spirits and hauntings has made him turn almost into a sort of nihilistic believer. He believes in the mechanical aspects of afterlives and spirits but lacks the spiritual belief in a benevolent deity
I think that way sometimes. My luck is so bad that sometimes I just think God only created me to play with like a toy and throw away.
He doesn’t have a god complex, he just thinks that god is merciless and will just let whatever happens, happen.
he doesn’t have a god complex, matter of fact, william didn’t actually kill to fuel anything inside him. he killed for remnant and scientific breakthroughs to discover immortality and bring the dead back to life.
*He always comes back.*
Him symbolically coming back into the physical world as Glitchtrap, and the fact Vanny is like William reincarnated in a way is sorta terrifying.
He's stuck in hell, rotting away in pain and torture by being killed over and over again by his own creations he forged and made. But either one way or another, he's always been able to *come back.*
Edit 1: Wow eight hours after I post this and it's at 400+ likes???
Thankfully, FFPS didn't happen in this timeline and William's dead.

I didn't knew the "MICHAEL, DON'T LEAVE ME HERE" was from here 🤣
One thing that makes me like this William Afton more than the canon one is that, unlike the former, this one feels like an actual human.
In general I prefer to think that Squimpus' lore is the real one just because I think the series should have ended at 3
Eh everyone has their opinions but I prefer the real Afton. A man who does experiments for his goal of immortality.
All those years of scheming and just when he thought he’d get away with it, Afton had it all crumble around him in 3 sailor seconds.

This time however, it's different, you are no longer a vulnerable child, this time, *he pays for his sins.*
I find it pretty climactic that Fnaf 3 supposedly takes 30 years after Joseph's death, who died at the age of 9
Actually 25 years after Joseph died.
