Well well… A year later and look where we are. After numerous hours spent composing music, script writing and animating, we can finally present to you ‘An Interview with Cassidy’. Not only is this the longest episode of ‘The Interviewed’, but our longest video, period. The j-gems team is stoked to present our collective favourite addition to the series. So sit back, grab your Freddy and Friends Family Faz-fudge and indulge in some of our FNaF content.

G.E.M.S Report:
Additional Information: A theoretical idea has been proposed. The immortality of each subject should be no-different to one another; while the body can be destroyed, the soul shouldn’t be able to. Four subjects could not be found, but later on were found as transparent husks of their former selves. The list of subjects are colloquially described as ‘Phantoms’.
The Four ‘Phantom’ subjects:
- Freddy Fazbear
- Balloon Boy
- ‘Mangle’
- Foxy the Pirate
It is unknown truly if these Phantoms are connected to their original counterparts. Information currently is scarce; additional content will be added with substantial evidence.
Update 1: Phantoms are susceptible to extremely powerful sources of light; causing complete paralysis. While the squadron present were able to successfully use this to their advantage, two subjects (Both ‘Nightmare’ variants of Bonnie & Chica) intervened and killed the present squadron. It is unknown what occurred after this.
Update 2: Project Head: [Major] was able to paralyze Golden Freddy. Apprehending William Afton (‘Springtrap’), and removing him from the area. The location William Afton has been taken to is not to be disclosed to any low-ranking personnel. Experiments are to be performed on Afton at [REDACTED].

As somebody who's been with FNAF for 8 years, it's nice to see all the OG characters with their own personalities trying to hunt down the one man who started this entire franchise, it's quite a breath of fresh air

Nah I think the new personalities have ruined this series. I mean compare ennard from the original interview to this version saying “ha gottem” after a joke, I mean seriously? And the spring trap from the first interview was actually terrifying, whoever voiced him was great but now we this version who might as well just be a normal guy, the way they had the creative use of the suit going of on its own was so cool and unsettling.

this just shows how william is so broken. Man really goes from missing his kid, to ripping of his mask, then to laughing, then to crying.
They displayed Ennard PERFECTLY! The idea of having different personalities being able to switch between each other, representing all of the animatronics melded together is awesome. Come to think of it, the sound design of this series is what really got me hooked on it. The atmosphere mixed with all of that stuff just make it so much better.

I think when Ennard is telling about how they are supposed to get in the building that’s Freddy. And when Ennard is telling the detective about how they trust him that Foxy. Which cuts to Freddy talking to Foxy about trust. Ballora is the easiest to tell.

I like the dynamic between Goldie and Lefty. Both are mysterious, cryptic girls, however with conflicting ideals. One wishes to end it all (kinda shown in "the happiest day", i think) and the other wants to keep it going to fill their bottomless pit of hatred. Also, both play key-roles in the fnaf lore.
One observation: goldie is two people in one suit, while lefty is one person in two suits. Goldie is, well, golden, and lefty is black colored, "opposites", i guess (probably coincidences, but still fun to think about)

I love the part where Springtrap sounds like he's crying then it spirals to intimidating laughing. They captured his personality so well and its all in all just great.

Anyway," not become crazy and kill children to try and see how to _revive them._ now why would he try and research reviving the dead? Well,..... yeah. If he didn't love his children or anything at all he wouldn't do any of this, he would just maybe punish Michael for the death of Evan and that's it. Elisabeth wouldn't have died since he didn't try researching how to revive Evan, and nothing in the games would have happened, besides Evan's death, of course.
He loved his children. He tried so hard to "put them back together" but he slowly became crazy, killing children randomly and the puppet just did the work to "put them back together". He no longer had the goal to revive his children. They were gone, and he just became a murderer, filled with both pain and pure craziness. Karma really got to him but he didn't come back clean, only becoming worse and worse. He was just one more animatronic, now filled with both types of pain, mentally and physically. Until Cassidy finally got him. And now it'll get multiplied to the extreme. To the end of time.

I absolutely love the humanity behind the animatronics. They were human when they died, but they're not written as childish in this masterpiece because they still grew up, just not... in bodies. Their souls are still intact, and therefore they act like normal people with intentions, and shortcomings. The writing behind this animation is top tier and I would love a full movie trilogy about this shit.
I love the interaction between the Nightmares because that basically perfectly encapsulates your point. It genuinely feels like banter between two friends, despite the slightly grim subject

I've just realized that the reason all of the Bonnies in this series are so rational and patient is because Jeremy was the oldest to die, as said by Nightmare Chica in the woods. Also, notice how Cassidy says Evan's name in a different tone when speaking, as if something, or some *ONE,* interrupted her little talk. I love that. The little details are what makes this series so good to me. This shit is unironically the greatest fnaf content I've ever seen.

@@otonworldproductions I..dunno. Maybe? I know that Nightmare Bonnie and Withered Bonnie likely do, as they are both somehow victims of the 1980s killings. I suppose they all have similarities, but depending on the animatronic, variations aswell.

Even despite the monotone voice of Cassidy (love the performance of her VA btw), you can get a sense of that rage she has during that last bit. It's very in line w the characterization of UCN when one of the death quotes is "I will _never_ let you leave"

Dam, now I see how much Willam Afton cared for his children. Especially Elizabeth, he cared so much that he didn’t even want to think about their deaths. He didn’t want to even hear Elizabeth’s name, which shows that he really doesn’t want to think about it, and cares for them. Willam Afton, you need to be better, and bro this movie is so fire. Without a shadow of a doubt, that was the best interpretation of Springtrap or William aftons character and the word that best describes is... Broken... A man broken by the loss of his family, continuously reminded and helpless to stop it or reverse it, he cries as he knows this but the maniacal and devilish laughter perfectly encapsulates his current emotions, he doesn't care anymore, he doesn't care who he hurts, he doesn't care what he does as he knows he is immortal, he knows he is helpless. The crying scene shows his last bit of humanity, his family now becoming a emotional burden to him and he finally loses touch with reality while Cassidy's clean flat robotic voice quietly taunting him of what he will live with for the rest of his life but it's comforting and haunting as Cassidy is perfect sculpt of afton, a relentless and restless spirit hell-bent on Afton's suffering but Afton loves doing the same to Cassidy, which means it will never end.

@@shruqabdullah5036 I mean he may have been sad with the first two deaths especially the crying child since he stated "I will put you back together" and security breach kinda confirms he succeed. There is always a reason why someone became a killer and most of the time it's because of trauma from their past.
@@shruqabdullah5036 Actually FredBear and spring Bonnie we're created before sister location and those animatronics were created by Henry so he did not start making killing machines before his kid's death. And none of your theories are actually confirmed either like William experimenting on cc, him wanting to be immortal and him just being evil without any explanation. It was even stated by one of the game devs in a stream they wanted William to be like any ordinary killer and what do all killers have in common they have a tragic backstory. William probably created the nightmares and the bear with the camera to monitor cc from leaving his room and going into danger. Of course the books can be true but it's mostly just small bits of it.
@@shruqabdullah5036 There isn't enough evidence that Elizabeth was with any"friends" so you can't really use logic when there's literally animatronics being possessed by ghost children plus I didn't go over the other stuff because all your other theories are mainly based off the books with little to no evidence from the games. And if William really planned out their deaths why don't they feel resentment towards him Elizabeth still wants to make daddy proud and CC pretty much never mentions him after fnaf 4. The only person that hates him is probably Micheal Afton. Actually nevermind you do have evidence from the games but it's very loose with the exception of Michael bullying CC and what not.
H.U.S.K or the Human Unit Systematic Killer
is a suit specially designed by the G.E.M.S to help immobilize or fight the animatronics.
This suit has many varieties ranging from machine guns and explosives. Used by an experienced unit, the H.U.S.K will be the new suit for the soldiers.
I love how bonnie said "alright, if you insist." and picks up a rifle and shoots all the guards

I love how they have like ACTUAL voices, yknow instead of what everyone usually thinks them to be? Usually everyone just thinks all the animatronics just have some extremely deep voice, I mean it makes sense, this was a really nice touch.

This should seriously be nominated for an award, this is some of the best work I’ve seen in SFM, it just goes to show, in the right hands, SFM can look amazingly good, especially for an engine from 2007.

Man, this series is so much fun. It embraces the pure insanity of the lore in a good way while also including its own ideas, and I absolutely love how the animatronics are portrayed. Despite being in the wrong bodies, the souls of the children within have grown up, and yet they still view the world in a childish way. There's also the fact that while most of them have no issues with killing, a few of them are a little more hesitant about it. Throw in that amazing and kinda cute interaction between Nightmare Bonnie and Chica from 8:17 to 9:50, and the animatronics all feel more human than most portrayals I've seen, which is very interesting.
I can't wait to see the continuation of this. Either G.E.M.S plans on weaponizing Springtrap (which is a horrific idea in of itself), or creating an army of remnant fueled super soldiers that happen to be Spring Bonnie themed. Neither option is good either way. I hope Detective Good Bloke will be alright after all of this. He's such a nice dude, I don't want to see him get killed.

According to my calculations since susie/chica and Jeremy/bonnie when they were talking at the time of 9:05 and she said shes like 30 and bonnie said hes like 40 smth so ill say susie died when she was around 7-6 when she died which counts up to 42-41 years old after death and bonnie is 10-12 which is 45,47 if we still count when they aged after they died so ill say gabriel was older since hiding is the best chance at surviving so ill say hes 12-13 and plus that by 35 which is 48 and fritz ran while he was getting killed by afton so ill say hes around 11 since theres alot of hyperactive 11 y/olds so chica is 42 or 43,jeremy is 45-47,fritz is 46,gabriel is 48 if we cojnt the years they aged after they died

I love how both in the fanbase and in lore the Puppet is usually the compassionate one while the other spirits are more vengeful. Shows how good of a person Charlie was. Then there is Cassidy who is leagues above everyone in terms of how scary and angry she is (for good reason). I really hope they touch on this in the upcoming FNAF movie. I don't want stories about artificial intelligence or computer viruses. I want a standard FNAF story where we get to learn more about the victims and what drives them. That's FNAF at it's strongest. Standard haunted pizzeria horror and tragedy.
What do you think should happen to Goldie and the Phantoms in the next episode/Interview? One side of me wants to see them get punished, but the other knows that they were murder victims.

Afton's Laugh is one of the most chilling sounds in this series. Yet somehow Cassidy manages to take the creep factor to the next level and that just gives me full body chills. This series also gives much more depth to Afton's character as well

Only just now got around to watching this, and I'm so glad I did! This feels of FNAF had a plot similar to Transformers and I LOVE IT! But...aside from that comparison, my god! The various plot threads, the characters, the way the animatronics interact with the humans is amazing! All of it is amazing! I was loving it all the way through, got the same feeling I get from watching a new movie for the first time! Can't wait to see where this story goes! J-Gems, I hope you and your team think highly of yourselves, because you absolutely should be able to after getting this out!
It's strange to see such humanity placed on such horrifying creatures, but it makes sense, they're just kids. Ususally stories talk about how revenge ultimately isn't worth it because one usually destroys themselves and what they care about in the process, but these kids? They have nothing, their lives already ended, so revenge is all they have left. It's interesting to see stuff I read about years ago actually get video media. This would've been better than the actual movie, tbh.

Honestly, Cassidy seems a lot more tragic in this series than anything.
As much as you’d assume, I don’t think Cassidy’s actions are based purely on self interest. We know she’s the first victim, she spells it out for us herself. However, she also goes on about every other evil thing Afton has done, including the death of his family.
It’s important to note that she says “Evan” (the CC of this series) in a similar manner she says “Afton.” This seems to imply Evan has emotional significance to her. This is also implied that there is more “suspense” surrounding his death. Perhaps Cassidy knew him? Heck, maybe they were even friends and that’s part of the reason she’s so angry about it. Regardless, she appears to blame his death on William, which is why she mentions it.
Unlike UCN in the games, she never ONCE calls herself “The One You Shouldn’t Have Killed.” She simply states that she is more powerful than Afton, which was true. It’s also interesting that some of the others….agree with her. That Afton deserves this. I dunno about you, but I don’t think they would agree if it was simply out of self desire.
Yes, she is risking the peace of the other spirits. Don’t get me wrong. That’s bad. I’m not saying this is a GOOD decision. However, she’s also by proxy blocking herself from having peace, saying she’s willing to keep Afton trapped for all of eternity. It gives off the vibe that she’s pretty much given up on ever moving on, and is now just focusing on making Afton pay which is really sad when you think about it. She was just a child, probably a very polite one considering her mannerisms.
So, yeah, I don’t think she’s completely fueled by self-centered rage. Don’t get me wrong, she’s extremely passed off (and rightfully so), but she’s not doing this just because Afton killed her. She’s doing this because she just genuinely thinks this is the right thing to do. That this is the punishment he deserves. And she’s willing to trap herself, and maybe even everyone else to incidentally, to keep it that way.
I really hope she gets her happy ending.
I do agree with you on a large chunk of this and she really isn't helping things while she does believe that what she is doing is right I can kinda see a duality between Cassidy and afton after all afton said when his wife was brought up that he had a good reason to do what he did he believed he was doing what was right or Nesscary even though it wasn't even though I understand Cassidy I still will side with lefty because what good will come out of what Cassidy is doing the only thing that will be gained from tormenting Mr afton is making him more unstable, fleeting peace, insanity and continuing the cycle. The amount of work and effort put into this series never fails to amaze me! the story is so interesting and even in such an intense, drama based story like this
you even had moments of comedy thrown in that didn't feel forced and worked really well (such as Ennard completely wrecking the security camera room only to then have to press one button to turn them off) this episode was absolutely worth the wait! amazing work to everyone involved in this!

Goldie seems to be thinking, "you don't want to torture Afton till the end of time? You must not be as angry as I am." It's not about who died first. Goldie is governed by her emotions, and so she sees Lefty not acting as emotionally and just decides Lefty isn't as angry.
It actually isn't clear if Lefty was actually killed first in this show. Cassidy could be wrong, but knows the death dates of all the others, so if Charlie died first she should know. It's either Cassidy really did die first in this series or she's wrong/lying...
Either way, Cassidy is super selfish and also best girl.

I really like the dynamic between the victims, they all hate Afton and want revenge, however, each generation has their own way of going about it, because of the level of hatred they have for Afton, the first gen have pure hatred and want Afton to suffer, the middle generation hate him, but they're not as committed as the first generation, they just want to get it over with and rest, which probably why the Detective works with them, they can be reasoned with, and the latest generation just want revenge as a get-back, which is on point, since they're the youngest, it's not surprising they have a very simple view of revenge. Also, I like how intricate the relationship between the gens are, the middle generation understand the first generation, and respect them, but don't agree with keeping Afton alive because they're not blinded by revenge to see the threat he poses, the first gen wants to avenge the later gens, however, it's their way or the highway, and the youngest gens just go with the flow, they're very easily impressionable and non-confrontational, just like children

Giving them all a voice and motivations does rob some of the fear factor; fear of the unknowns is a powerful form, but what it gained is a compelling narrative and complex characters. I applaud this series for how masterfully it is done.
It takes away a lot of fear (though they're still intimidating at points), but it gives back so much more with the character development and world-building

I think it works. If fear was the narrative, then GEMS would’ve been portrayed as antiheroes, and the animatronics would be portrayed as misunderstood souls who just want to see their killer brought to “justice”. I like the way it is now; so many people have already done the horror route.
That interaction at around 8 minutes with Chika and Bonie is just so sweet, yet so sad. I really like that you gave the characters life, rather than just mindless robots that want to kill people.

This was quite confusing for me, as in the story, the nightmare animatronics were merley "nightmares", hallusinations expirienced by Evan due to the psychological device placed by William. If i recall, this was the reason so that Evan would stay away from the animatronics, as William wanted to not repeat the consenquences of her daughter, Elizabeth (dying from Circus Baby accidently). So the nightmare animatronics were not really real, rather Evans imaginations, fearful imaginations produced from Williams hallusination device put into the circus animatronics.

Cassidy was the only kid who was stuffed into a Suit without an endoskeleton, meaning that she couldn’t move the suit even though she technically lives inside it and is one with the suit.
The other animatronic costumes however, had endoskeletons, so the kids who had their souls bonded to the Suits could move them.
