Spoilers So he fucked up by paying Trevors fine, which he and the police both assumed were meant for the MC. By sending in money to the spirit, entity or whatever the antagonist is supposed to be, he drew their attention to him and somehow spooked the spooker.
Lol. I bet it's spooked. Imagine having that set up. Get money and if they don't pay, kill them. Then you kill the person, and someone still mails you money? I'd be spooked too. Either some random stranger has been watching your shenanigans and knows of you or a dead guy sent you mail.
Great story however it left me with more questions then answers what did trevor do to be fined? What is fining him? Why is the city a disaster? Whats at the cemetary doing the fining? Why hasnt the mc replyed to the finer? So many questions there needs to be a pt 2. I need answers lol
The fines were meant for Trevor. When the MC paid them, it spooked the entity thing. Now it's spooked because there are only two logical conclusions. One being that someone is observing it's actions and knows about it. Two being that a dead guy sent it mail. So it's losing it trying to understand what's happening, this is shown by the amount of 'Who are you?' letters.
