it seems like part of the horror is shes the ONLY one who thinks that like even a medical professional would say shes alive and that would send the narrator further into madness
To be fair, it was implied that she may not be actually dead. And the MC could just not be knowledgeable enough to know this. Though even if we assume that, it still robs the story of its mistery somewhat.
@@Kickiusz It's possible that Grandma is still alive, if so she should call the police/emt. If she looks like that, but is managing to hold on then she's going to be gone very soon and needs end of life care (morphine, etc). I've seen people in Hospice that you would think are dead, don't even seem to be breathing but are still holding on for a few days or weeks longer. Thank God they were being cared for, pain was managed (almost eliminated) so they could be lucid with their families as much as possible before the end.
I think the best part of this story is how we never find out whether protag was imagining it or not. Leaves us all going crazy wondering what the hell was going on. That's the kind of ending that can be done poorly if not careful, but in this case, it was done perfectly
Hi am from Zambia and am absolutely in love with you're voice. My family and friends think am creepy because I go to sleep listening to you're stories😅..... from the creepy Zambian woman please upload more stories 🥺
hey creeps. i really appreciate you keeping on posting regardless of whatever is going on in your life. all of us who have notifications turned on when you post a new video get so excited i promise!! thank you so much.
The CPs where its not clear who the crazy is always peak my interest. Someone has descended into madness here, but who??? Thank you, Creeps. Stay well.
I know that smell. The smell of sickness, body fluids, and death all covered over with the strong smell of antiseptic. My great grandmother was in a nursing home that was attached to a hospital and back in the 80s they weren't as nice as they are now and while it was clean and the patients were well cared for, most of them were very old, I'll, and had dementia. To this day I can't stand hospitals because just walking in one reminds me of that smell(though they don't smell anymore)
Great story but also a sad story 😢 Creeps, you did an excellent job narrating this story and I love your voice 🖤💙🖤 Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication!!! I tremendously appreciate you 💜💛💚 God bless you, keep you healthy and safe 🙏❤️🙏 Much love ❤️
Well that gave me a flashback to the first I smelt the reak of an infection that had truly taken over, it really is quite indescribable as it's not quite the same as simple decay. Thankfully no ganggrene yet 🤢
I’ve been listening to you since, like, 2012 and I would love to hear you do an Audiobook of The Demonata Series. I have always thought that it really suits you!
It sounds like the mom and uncle are just in denial. Simple enough. But why go that far with it? Idk but that poor granddaughter shouldn’t have had to see it.
What would be crazy if she was that rare case where some of the bodys functions work leaving her in endless pain but the other half of her body decaying because it was supposed to have passed on, but the family is keeping those other parts alive. I forget is the brain 🧠 dead at this point? or is it that one part that lives and is carrying on the rest of it? Nurse or doctor please reply? Its been years, i don't think it can carry on alive too long but there was cases of the body was decaying yet somehow alive for days or was it up to 2 weeks after? What was the longest case?
Half way through also, but i will say there have been real cases of people who live with deceased relatives as they go into a shock state, its will what the human brain can do to defend itself and if one person denies it often other people around can fall into the same dilution. Wild stuff.
As a young teen My pèpe told me before you get into any holes, Make sure you're well protected. If not you may come out with something you can't wash off.
I've heard of people doing this in real life, keeping deceased loved one in the house and treating them like they're alive I mean
All she needed to do was make one easy phone call for EMT’s to come and look at grandma 😂.. Would definitely save her some stress lol
Everybody in that house needed a wellness check besides grandma. She needed the coroner. Or maybe those brothers from supernatural
@@darbanville13 Yeah she's still alive her eyes moved.. op is just a drama queen
For a horror story to work people need to do stupid things.
it seems like part of the horror is shes the ONLY one who thinks that like even a medical professional would say shes alive and that would send the narrator further into madness
I bet she’d “be alive” to emts… creepypasta and all
"No no dont leave work"
-The Protagonist seething wanting a free day off-
I was a renter in a friend's home. His sister was dead three days when they asked me to see if she's dead. Go figure people. Thanks for the story.
Damn what, Could you elaborate?
Great story. The only inaccuracy is the sentence about rigor mortis. A corpse would not still be in rigor mortis after several weeks of decomposition.
To be fair, it was implied that she may not be actually dead. And the MC could just not be knowledgeable enough to know this. Though even if we assume that, it still robs the story of its mistery somewhat.
A matter of hours at most.
@@Kickiusz Shame they didn't say mummified.

Well… it’s still more realistic than weekend at Mortys

I'd drive off immediately and call the police. This whole family is crazy!
100%!!!
CreepsMcPasta.. I'm so glad you're still around!
Me too!
I'm glad *you're* still around Joshua.
@@Aconitum_napellusyes it does sound quite threatening
I can't stand the smell of a dead mouse in my garage, so I certainly couldn't deal with a dead human body!
I dug up my gerbil.
@@Aconitum_napellusbut why?
Thank you sir for keeping my mind occupied! So grateful for your channel! ❤
Don’t send your money to someone that would diddle your kids.
A lot of people don’t understand that rigor mortis will dissipate on its own. It won’t last days unless they are in a freezer
hey creeps. i really appreciate you keeping on posting regardless of whatever is going on in your life. all of us who have notifications turned on when you post a new video get so excited i promise!! thank you so much.
Some people love their families so much. They can't bate the hurt of letting go.
Grandma has died! But she owes you money! So you call the Ghosbusters!
The CPs where its not clear who the crazy is always peak my interest. Someone has descended into madness here, but who??? Thank you, Creeps. Stay well.
"She's not dead unless we agree she is."
Moral relativists be like.
You’re going to be used in some ritual to bring your granny back…. Or your schizophrenia is kicking in. Tomatoe, tomato. 🤷♀️😂
You've got to make sure. That's why we cremated Nanna.
Don't you hate it when you die randomly?
Eh, it's not so bad. Gets me off work early.

I used to work in a Dementia care home, the smell is... interesting.
The smelly smell that smells... smelly

I liked this one . I kept thinking about after, and what I would have done. Thanks for reading to me.😊❤ I like your soothing voice.
Would love a part 2 to this story!
That was a great little story.
yay man I took a long break from listening to your stuff... great to listen to another classic pasta.
This is one of the best of these that I've ever heard, and I've probably heard a thousand or so.
What a strange story, very unsatisfying ending as well.
I would have stuck around to see how they were gonna get her to eat the cake.
I wouldn't even try to have some cake
I was thinking she’d spring to life as a zombie as someone tried to move the fork near her, and she’d bite one of the parents lol
You know as someone whos had gangrene on his stomach, i could barely imagine how bad the pain whould be if you had your whole leg covered in it.
Great story but also a sad story 😢

Just call and tell them your family is in denial. I can not take foul smells 😳
Thank you, brother. I very much appreciate your splendid narrations.
😊
I have heard of this but never have I experienced it, I probably would have drove like a bat out of hell too😳😳 interesting story Creeps, thanks
This video definitely provokes dark thoughts and intrigues viewers with its mysterious plot😬
Hey this seems like a good story for me to listen to while I eat.

bruh i know grief makes people cookoo but this is another level surely they know shes dead
Love your voice ❤️
The story would make me fall asleep
Me: Listening while eating pizza and suddenly thinking back to my encounter with a two week old decomposed floater from the river. 🤢🤢🤮
A waterlogged body is awful. That’s how my mom was found, drifting in the river.
@@TonyTheCarrot Oh my goodness. I’m so sorry. That’s truly horrific and heartbreaking. ❤️🩹

I like this one I just don’t think Rigamortus last that long
That was so gross 🤢 I loved it!
Awesome
ahem maybe just me but i would just check the pulse and if they kept going called the police or emt.
Yeah they done killed grandma
Seems like everyone notices they just don’t wanna tell her. But I’m only halfway through 🤷♀️
Edit: I take that back. That title seems correct lol
