    When I was in Highschool I would of loved to have someone like you doing our vending. Our Supplier Never Stocked the machines up! I was in Wrestling and would buy Power Aids several times a day. After a few Weeks the Machine would be empty and would not be serviced for months. Also congrats on the 1k Subs! A great Mile Stone to hit, I am on my way up there too, Just pushed over 400 subs

    • @HappyVending
      @HappyVending  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks...I make the videos as my schedule allows. We currently don't vend snacks to students...we have two snack machines but they are in two different faculty rooms. I am trying to get a snack machine in the cafeteria...but I have not gotten approval from the cafeteria manager to do that yet. If you do get an account in a school, you have to follow federal guidelines for the amount of calories in the snacks. Basically, you will need to buy all the low-cal versions of snacks...like baked Doritos, baked lays etc.

    You mentioned scheduled vends after school, etc. Is there actually options within vending machines to schedule vending? Or do you use other methods to control these? I'm interested in some scheduled vend (or even price changing based on time), and I'm curious what options are out there.

    Are you willing to share what you pay out as a commission to the school. My kids school has machines but there always empty and I was thinking of putting a couple machines there but I want to be fair with the commissions.

    • @HappyVending
      @HappyVending  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My machines are at the school I teach at and we use the money for a staff outreach fund...so I do not pay commission to the school. But if I were to get a school location that wanted commission, I wouldn't pay more than 10%.

  • @MrEkg98

    I have always wanted to do this. I have my first location soon through a friend. Looking at a DN501e or the smaller 276? I am naturally a introvert so I am very unsure how to get more locations if I like doing this. The location I am looking at I doubt it sells more than 30 sodas a week.

    • @HappyVending
      @HappyVending  3 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @MrEkg98
      @MrEkg98 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@HappyVending I have another question about paying a location commission. Do you pay the location commission out of gross income of the machine (cash box and validator box total intake) or do you pay commission percentage out of net profit from the machine ( soda cost - gross income )? My location wants 25% which I think is very high. Thanks. First machine is on the way right now. I defiantly overpaid for it but its for a friend.

    • @HappyVending
      @HappyVending  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MrEkg98 25 percent is very high...it better be a location that is worth that. I would pay commission on the net profit. If you need to pay 25 percent, you will need to adjust your prices to compensate for that.
