      Some tests are complex as they involve different values

      You can simply report that there there is no statistically significant difference between the groups ..

    IS the H value the difference between the groups? (if statistically significant?)

    Do I use Kruskal wallis test when I have 1 independent variable with 2 levels and one dependent variable with 3 levels? My dependent variable is based on 5-point likert scale....

    Prof tq for info, may i know how to report effect size in KW ?

    • @MohamedBenhimaPhD
      @MohamedBenhimaPhD  ปีที่แล้ว

      To report effect size in a Kruskall-Wallis test on SPSS, you can use the phi coefficient (phi) or the contingency coefficient (C).
      To obtain the phi coefficient, you can go to the "Analyze" menu and select "Nonparametric Tests" and then "Legacy Dialogs." From there, select "Kruskal-Wallis" and enter the variables you want to compare. In the "Post Hoc Tests" section, select "Multiple Comparisons" and then "Cramer's V." This will give you the phi coefficient as an estimate of effect size.
      To obtain the contingency coefficient, you can go to the "Analyze" menu and select "Nonparametric Tests" and then "Legacy Dialogs." From there, select "Kruskal-Wallis" and enter the variables you want to compare. In the "Post Hoc Tests" section, select "Multiple Comparisons" and then "Contingency Coefficient." This will give you the C coefficient as an estimate of effect size.
      When reporting the effect size, it is important to also report the significance level (p-value) of the test. Additionally, it is also important to note that Cramer's V and Contingency coefficient are only appropriate for two-way tables, if your kruskall wallis test have more than two groups, you can use Gamma (Gamma) instead.

    I want to as if the scores was just total score or total mean score?

    • @MohamedBenhimaPhD
      @MohamedBenhimaPhD  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is a video on how to compute the overall score. In your case, it is better to use just the mean score
